Chapter Three

"Hello, Miss?"

Still from her crouched down position, Ivanna answered. "Yes, how may I help—what the fuck." Tripping over her words after she stood upright, Ivanna just didn't know how to react—or behave—anymore.

Clearing her throat, she felt her cheeks heating up, before she wiped her palms on the apron fastened around her waist. "What are you doing here, Mr. Park?!" she whispered, leaning in towards the said man who was very visibly enjoying this a bit too much.

"Well, you confessed your secret love for me in-"

"Hey, hey slow down, Mr. Park. I didn't confess any love for you anywhere. You must be clearly mistaken."

"Oh, am I now?" Quirking a brow, Jimin pulled out a folded heart from his back pocket and shook it in front of Ivanna's—now widened—eyes. "Well, miss Ivanna, you were the one who left me this along with my coffee yesterday. Too bad I'm not mistaken, right?" He flashed her a grin, Ivanna instantly cursing under her breath.

Mustering a polite smile, she spoke up. "Well, sir, it was my other friend here who jokingly wrote that note. It's safe to say it was not written by me at all."

'Is that so?"

Jimin's voice droppedd down an octave as he raises his eyebrows, and that made Ivanna want to drop to her knees, to be very frank. Well, you certainly cannot blame a woman for finding Park Jimin so attractive. And even though she didn't know much about K-pop and BTS until yesterday, she still knew their names. Thanks to Alice being a die-heart fan, Ivanna was kept updated on most stuff, not that she ever minded.

And now that she had actually seen all the members' faces the day before, after Alice very happily taught her much about BTS, it was safe to say Alice's favorite came out to be Jimin. Not because she met him first that day, but because she was enchanted my the man ever since Alice showed her one performance by them two years back. Given, she acted like a total dumbass and didn't recognize him at the first glance, much unlikely to how Alice recognized Jungkook in a heartbeat, but still.

"Uhm, actually. What was written in that note...?"

At Ivanna's hesitant question, Jimin dropped the teasing for two seconds. "You seriously don't know?" When the brunette shook her head slowly, Jimin sighed dramatically. Well, he was Park Jimin, he had to act like the Drama Queen he was. "Well..." He faced the note towards Ivanna, and the brunette was visibly mortified.

'I've secretly been in love with you for ages. Let's run away together xx'

"What the actual fuck?!" she almost yelled, before slapping a hand over her mouth. "Oh my God, I'm gonna murder Alice," she muttered under her breath, while Jimin just watched her exasperated reactions.

"Well, Ivanna," he drawled out. "I really won't judge you if you actually wrote this for me either. I mean, have you looked at all this?" He motioned with his hand towards his whole body.

"Dear sir, I can assure you I have not wr-"

"Anyways, can I have an Iced Americano, sweetheart?"

Smiling smugly, he totally dismissed Ivanna's bad attempts at denying everything. With a sigh, the brunette nodded, making her way towards the espresso machine. To her surprise, Jimin didn't go to take a seat anywhere. Instead, he just stood there while resting his face on his palms over the counter, watching Ivanna quietly.

"Here's your order, sir," she said, handing him the coffee.

"Thank you, Ivanna." He offered her his signature eye smile, before running a hand through the curly mess of his blond hair, tousling it even more. "And I'd prefer you called me Jimin, if that's okay with you too."

"Oh, okay. Sure, why not. Jimin it is."

Dusting her palms on her apron, Ivanna's smile grew slightly hesitant when Jimin just seemed to gaze at her without saying a word or moving. She snapped her fingers in front of his face, and that seemed to have brought him out of his daze.

"Ah, shit." With a sheepish grin, Jimin smiled shyly, his cheeks turning pink. And after that, Ivanna experienced Jimin's infamous duality first-hand. He leaned in a little closer, a mischievous smirk playing on his plump lips. "I got lost in your eyes, my bad."

And yet the cheesy line seemed to have Ivanna swooning on her spot behind the counter. Seeing Jimin up close, she could make out that her front tooth was slightly crooked at the edge and that had her giggling to herself. Cute.

"Ivann—oh my God, Park Jimin!"

Alice choked on her spit, almost dropping the cardboard boxes in her hands while making her way past the counter. Seeing Park Jimin up close was not in her plans when she woke up today, but she was definitely not complaining.

Putting the boxes down, she scrambled her way beside Ivanna who was now a flustered mess at Jimin's playful flirting. The redhead nudged her shoulder, glaring at her to not blush like a schoolgirl. Meanwhile, Jimin just watched the two—specifically a certain brunette—while sipping his coffee.

"Um, no offense sir, but that ass is thicker in person. Respectfully so." Alice beamed, as if proud of herself for that remark, while Ivanna coughed loudly.

Noticing Jimin's stillness, Alice almost went apologizing, before Jimin burst into laughter. He set the coffee down on the counter and clutched his stomach. His brown eyes turned into crescents, and small wrinkles formed around them. Alice joined him shortly after, while Ivanna just stared at the man with heart eyes.

"Well, well, miss. I've gotta say, you do have quite a great observation." As if on cue, Jimin shook his fat ass slightly, making Alice burst into another round of laughter, while Ivanna's eyebrows shot up at the sight of that ass.

So much for not being a BTS stan, you don't know the beauty of Park Jimin's ass. Ivanna made a mental note to do some research on YouTube regarding that.

"My God, I blink for two seconds and my best friend and Park Jimin and high-fiving. Fucking sweet," Ivanna groaned.

"Aww, sweetheart. We can high-five too." Lowering his voice, Jimin smirked. "Or would you prefer this gentleman doing something else for a beautiful lady like you?"

Alice snickered as Ivanna's face turned as red as the strawberries on her apron. She took that as her cue to leave and not spoil the moment between the two.

"I—Well, uhm..."

Before Ivanna could muster an intelligent response, Jimin's phone rang. Furrowing his brows, Jimin picked the call up. Ivanna knew it was not a good habit to listen to someone's conversation on the phone, so she started shuffling through the packet of brewed coffee beans.

"Yeah, yeah, Kook I'm leaving. Mmh, be there in ten." Hanging up, Jimin's puppy-like eyes looked apologetically at Ivanna. "Ivanna, I'm required at the company so I'll be going. Thank you for the coffee!"

The brunette nodded, slightly wondering why would Jimin even tell her the reason for leaving or something. He could just quietly leave and no one would ask a question. Nonetheless, she sorta liked that he wanted to say goodbye to her before leaving.

She slipped her hand into Jimin's who had held it out for a handshake before he jogged out of the cafe. After the blonde left, she realized that he left a small rectangle-shaped paper in her palm. Unfurling the note, her heart started racing, making her giggle.

'Roses are red, violets are blue. That love note—was it actually for me, or just a fluke?'
