"I know, Kye!!" I said through the phone at my best friend.

"Oh honey, how about that purple shirt?" I heard him say.

"I wore purple yesterday. Isn't that  kind of prohibited or something?" I sighed and he chuckled.

"Oh honey, it is. How about a black shirt?" He suggested and I sighed again.

"To dark. I am going to the movies, not a funeral or a fancy date." I said and he groaned.

"Blue!! That last sky blue shirt I gave you." He said and I cheered.

"Yes, I would give you a hug but I can't." I said and I heard him laugh in the other side.

"Pair it with the black skinny jeans and your grey combat boots." He said and I smiled.

"Thanks, Kye. I have to go, talk to you after the movie. Love you!!" I said.

"Love you, too!!" He exclaimed and I hung up.

I went to my closet and picked out my sky blue shirt. I grabbed my black skinny jeans and walked towards the bathroom. I was almost there when Ale shoved pass by me and entered the bathroom.

"Ale!!!" I groaned, and I heard her laugh.

"That is my name!!" I sighed and sat on her bed which was closer to the bathroom.

After she was done, I entered the bathroom. I washed my body with a cucumber scented soap which is my favorite and decided to wash my blonde hair.

After I was done drying myself, I dressed up in the sky blue shirt and my skinny jeans. The shirt had an emoji in the middle. The emoji was the one with a winky face on.

When I exited the bathroom, I saw what was Ale wearing. She had a black shirt with a blue Popsicle in the middle with its tongue out. She was wearing dark blue skinning jeans and her black combat boots.

I grabbed my comb and started brushing my hair. I was deciding what do with it.

"How about a messy French braid like last night?" Ale suggested while taking the brush from my hands.

I nodded, and she started rapidly working. I let her do with my hair whatever she wanted because I trusted her. After she was done I gave her a smile.

"Thanks, Ale." I said and hugged her while she hugged back.

"Girls, are you ready?!" We heard dad scream while I was grabbing my purse/backpack.

"Yeah!!" We screamed back as we excited our room.

Walking down the stairs and jumping on the last one, we saw our parents. They were wearing casual clothes since we were going to the movies.

"Well, let's get going." Dad said and we all cheered exiting the house.

At the movies, mom and us made the line for snacks while dad got the tickets. We were watching Ice Age Collision Course. I was looking through all the things till my eyes landed on the buttery popcorn matching.

"We want popcorn!!" We both exclaimed while mom laughed.

"Where did you girls get your love for popcorn, your father and I don't like it very much." Mom mumbled, but I heard her.

"Can I have nerds, and a twix also?!" I asked while mom laughed again.

"Sure, honey." She said and I smiled.

"I also want something to drink, how about we get the big cup for the four of us?" Ale suggested, pointing towards a gigantic cup.

"I guess so." Mom agreed while we smiled.

Soon enough we ordered and got our stuff. Ale and I had a big bag of popcorn, while we also carried some candy we bought, and I had the big cup of soda. Dad was in front with mom beside him and we both trailed behind.

"This is so good!!" Ale exclaimed, munching on her popcorn.

"I love buttery popcorn!!" I stated as we entered the theater room.

I could already hear the sound of the trailers. I saw couples and other families eating popcorn and having a good time. I missed this. Having fun with mom and dad. To not have to worry about anything.

Ale and I sat next to each other munching on the big bag of popcorn. We both had our eyes glued to the screen seeing all the trailers.

"Mom, can you pass the coke?" We both said at the same time.

"You go first." I said and gave her the coke while she thanked me and drank.

"Here you go." She said and gave me the drink. I sipped on it feeling the cold liquid take away the salty taste of the popcorn.

I put the coke between us, as I saw that the movie was about to start.

"We want ours with extra cheese please!!" Ale and I exclaimed while mom nodded and walked towards the cash register.

After the fantastic movie, we decided to go eat pizza. I was talking to Ale when my phone rang.

"Who is it?" Ale asked as I took it out of my pocket.

"It's Kye." I told her as I answered it.

"Sup, girl." I heard Kye say.

"Hey, Kye. Why the call?" I asked.

"I wanted to know if my outfit choice caught any boys attention. Also, how was your day?" He said like nothing while I was blushing.

"Kye!! This was a family date, not a pick-a-boy-for-dad-to-have-a-heart-attack date." I said and he laughed in the other line.

"You are overreacting, Blake. It's fine to look at guys, I do it all the time." He said and I chuckled.

"When are you not looking at guys?" I teased and he laughed while I rolled my eyes.

"Maybe when I am sleeping, although I do dream of them." He said and I face palmed.

"Look, everything is fine. I have to hung up. The pizza is here and I am super duper hungry!!" I said and he chuckled.

"Bye, Blake."

"Bye, Kye." I said and hung up.

Mom shortly after returned with two boxes of pizzas in her hands. I was so hungry, I grabbed one quickly and opened it taking a bite at the first one I picked.

"Woah, somebody was hungry." Dad chuckled, sitting in the chair beside me.

"Yep. Mom and dad, thanks. This has been the best days ever!!" I thank them and mom and dad smiled.

"We would do anything for you girls." They said while dad kissed my head and mom kissed Ale's.

After having a fun time in the pizzeria, we headed back home. I was staring out the window to see the stars. I saw all the constellations. There was big and Little Dipper. I saw Leo too which is my sister's favorite.

As I started at the stars I started to slowly fall asleep. Dad would wake me up because I didn't like him carrying me since it could damage his back and I was pretty heavy. With that lost though, I slowly drifted asleep with a big smile on my face.

This had definitely been one of the best days ever!!!
