Chapter 10: Family Bonding Dinner. (Alenora)

I look silently at myself in my full body length mirror, checking my make-up and hair one last time before leaving.

Out of habit and frustration, I blow my fringe away from my eyes, tired of it and impatiently waiting for my sister with my mom. My dad was already downstairs in the living room waiting but I had to stay here, waiting for my sister to finish with her hair.

"I have had enough." I mutter, grabbing Blake's wrist and pulling them out of her now tangled blonde hair, grabbing the brush and starting to untangle her hair.

After that, I started doing her a messing French braid, grabbing a hair tie as I reached the end, and tying her hair. I huffed as she smiled triumphantly.

So this was her plan, that little...

"Girls, you ready!" Our father's voice snapped me out of my thoughts, making me check on the mirror once more before screaming back at him.

"Yeah! And mom?!"

"I am here and waiting for you, hon!" Her voice answered me, making me glance at Blake one last time before yanking the door open after grabbing my small, side, white purse, skipping downstairs with her behind me.

"Oh my, you look so lovely." Our mother smiled up at us, and I finally reached the last step, jumping down and walking towards them.

I smiled at her a toothy smile, patting my black, laced, short dress down from any wrinkles. I look at her up and down, smiling brightly at how her white dress that reached her knees fit her perfectly, gold high heels making her look taller but I was slightly taller than her even with heel.

Though, I had heels myself, boot high heels to be more specific. I love my silver babies.

"Thanks, mom. You look beautiful too! Dad, you don't look to shabby yourself."

He hummed, wrapping his arms around mom from behind and kissing her check. I wrinkled my nose in disgust, turning around to see Blake trying to walk down the stairs without falling still.

"Told you. You should have practiced with me." I tease her, making her glare at me before turning back at her feet.

She had a purple, sleeveless dress that reached a light above her knees, a small bow on above her waist with black high heels and a pearl necklace on her neck.

I stick out my tongue at her even if she couldn't see me before turning back to our parents.

"So, where are we doing to have dinner?"

~~~~~~
"Omg!! I can't believe we are going here! Olive Garden!! Pasta for moi!" I squeal, making Blake and mom to cover their ears while dad flinched, me being behind him and him not being able to cover his ears when he is driving after all.
"I should have let you drive." I giggle at my dad's silliness, opening my door and jumping up and down in excitement for entering one of my favorite restaurants after Chili's, of course.
"Yeah, next time let's just go to Chili's." Blake mumbled at my parents but I heard her so I hit her arm, doing a gesture of flipping my hair because it was on a messy bun.
"At least we now know where she got her sass." Mom told dad, but it slowly turned distant as I entered the restaurant.
I walked backwards, opening the door once again and staring at the to come already with a, "Get your asses right here before I go eat for myself!"
"And now we know where she got her bossy self." My dad told my mom, making me give them a blank look before sticking out my tongue at them, dragging Blake inside when she was close enough.
"Mom, dad, thank you so much for this amazing and delicious dinner! We had an amazing time with you guys, right Ale?" Blake turned towards me and I look up from my drink as she mentioned my name, the sound of the annoying sipping when it is already finishing.
I gulped, looking up at them completely before exclaimed happily, "Yep! Best family bonding dinner ever!"
"Where do you got all does weirdness? I don't remember anybody this weird." My dad teased with a thoughtful look, making me stick my tongue out at him before licking my lips, tasting all the left chocolate from the dessert.
"Honey, it is obvious she got it from you."
As mom said that Blake and I laughed as dad gave our mom a peaceful glare before pecking her lips. While they did their affectionate moment, Blake and I did vomiting noises.
"Girls, I'll make sure you do that when you get yourselves boyfriends."
"What?! B-Boyfriends?! Since when?!"
"Mom! Look what you did! Now he is overreacting!!"
Blake and I exclaimed at the same time, bringing attention towards our table, unfortunately.
I hate the attention.
~~~~~~~

I slowly look out the window to see the lights passing past us as I leaned on the window. I hummed of something Blake was saying, my eyes dropping until I snap them open.

Just a little bit more until I reach our house...just a little bit more or dad while have to carry me.... Ugh, you know what, let him carry me! And with that last thought I finally fell asleep.
