Before I knew it it was February 13th and I got a notice in the mail that said,

                REMINDER
             Cupid's Arrow
Don't forget tomorrow is the Valentine's dance! Come and find out who your pen pal is. Will it be friendship or love?
Will it be old friendships and old loves renewed or will it be something new?
Will it be a hit or miss?
FIND OUT TOMORROW!!!
Dance starts at 7:00pm in the high school gym.

smiling with excitement I go into my room and check my dress and shoes to make sure there still perfect and once I see it is I call Sarah for a movie night sleepover. Once Sarah arrives we grab snacks and start watching movies. During the movie I see Sarah daydreaming so I pause the movie and say "What's wrong Sar?" and she says "I signed up for Cupid's Arrow." and I said "Me too." and she says "Really? Why didn't you tell me?" and I said "I don't know, I guess I thought you would judge me or talk me out of it." and she said "I would never do that. So what did you sign up for, love or friendship?" and I said" Love, you?" and she said "Love. His pen name is Amore and mine is Hearts. What's yours?" and I said "Mine is Dove and his is Teddy Bear." and she said "Aw, I can't wait til tomorrow!"
We then watch movies until we fall asleep only to wake up in the morning with the sun in our face. Sitting up we look at each other with huge smiles knowing we will be meeting our pen pals today.
