yerin pov

"just tell me! because i like you a lot." sunghoon suddenly exclaimed.

i was in shock, i could feel my cheeks heating up. sunghoon likes me? the park sunghoon. i couldn't believe what's happening, it's as if i'm dreaming.

i smiled and chuckled, replying, "i like you a lot too."

suddenly, sunghoon grabbed both my hands and opened his eyes wide, replying, "seriously? you like me too? and not in just a friend way, like more than a friend?"

i simply nodded, whilst blushing, he was so happy i couldn't have felt more happy. it was such a sudden confession, but i was leaping in joy.

he suddenly pulled me into a hug, making me blush even more.

"i thought you liked jake still, and i got so worried." sunghoon softly uttered, as he patted the back of my head with his hand.

"huh? no way! he's just a friend." i instantly replied back, shocked, pulling sunghoon away from the hug, so he could see my expression.

"i guess i was just overthinking it, i was so worried that i would embarrass myself." sunghoon muttered again, as he patted me head, i couldn't believe this was real, my stomach was full of butterflies.

"you're blushing! do you like me that much?" sunghoon asked, teasing me, i just frowned, as sunghoon giggled.

"then i have a question." i replied back, i needed to ask him this as it left me confused for some many days. sunghoon smiled and looked at me, nodding.

"did you like me before the time we went on that date in the park?" i asked, as sunghoon started getting flustered.

sunghoon nodded and then replied, "that's why i kissed you that day, i got kind of jealous with you talking about jake."

"i knew it! your excuse didn't make much sense to me," i answered back, as sunghoon kept staring at me, his eyes were smiling, he looked so cute.

"it's getting cold, you should go back in, you might get a cold," sunghoon worriedly muttered, as he held my hand, his fingers gripping onto my fingers, as if he didn't want to let go.

"okay, i'll see you later!" i said as i then remembered something, "ahh also, let's keep this a secret."

"secret? keep what a secret?" sunghoon asked, still grabbing onto my hand, as he smiled.

"that we're dating." i answered back, as soon as i said this sunghoon gave a frown, slightly pouting his lips.

"why? i want everyone to know that you're mine, i don't want anyone making me jealous, i get real mad when i get jealous." sunghoon answered back, but he wasn't serious, but instead it was as if he was joking around.

"you're so cute," i answered back, smiling real hard, whilst grabbing the other hand sunghoon wasn't gripping on to carefully squish sunghoon's cheek, "i just don't want much people to pay attention to me if people find out, and its more fun this way."

"okay then, if that's what you want yerinnie, i'll go back in now, i'll see you later!" sunghoon exclaimed back, as he waved at me for like 10 seconds mouthing 'goodbye' as he walked further away from me, heading back to the accommodation.

third person pov

yerin, who was delighted, entered her accommodation, with the hugest smile on her face, her cheeks rosy. she took off her shoes and instantly wonyoung came up to her, running towards her.

"yerin, why are you bright red? are you sick?" wonyoung worryingly asked, using her hands to feel how warm her cheeks were.

"i'm fine, it's just cold." yerin replied, taking off her huge jacket and placing it on one of the pegs.

yerin looked around the accommodation, to see all the girls huddling up in a circle, literally shouting and screeching.

she saw yujin turn around to face her and she exclaimed, "yerin! join us, we're playing uno. loser has to clean the toilets."

"so, i don't have to clean it tomorrow then?" yerin excitedly exclaimed since she was supposed to clews the toilet with wonyoung, after an intense match of rock paper scissors just before the trip, with all the girls in her class.

yujin nodded as yerin hurriedly joined the circle, patiently waiting for the match to be over so they could finally join the intense game.

but, suddenly there was another knock on the door.

the person walked into the accommodation, it was the girl's homeroom teacher.

"girls, we're having a campfire, come outside!" she yelled as everyone jumped in joy.

"we're resuming this after." yujin muttered as everyone agreed and grabbed their coats, running out of the accommodation.

"woah! they even set us up chairs?" wonyoung remarked in shock, as the trio, yerin, wonyoung and yujin sat next to each other. wonyoung at the end as she wanted to obviously sit with sunoo, and yujin in the middle, with yerin on the other end.

sunghoon came to the campfire, a bit later, as he didn't expect much, but the campfire seemed much better than he anticipated. he saw that there was a chair right next to yerin and started to pick up his walking pace, to try claim that seat.

however, jake arrived earlier.

he was standing nearby yerin and tapped her shoulder so she could notice her and asked, "can i sit next to you?"

yerin nodded as jake answered, "thanks," and sat down.

jake, again, had another plan. he actually overheard the confession that sunghoon gave yerin earlier, he thought it was rather cute. but, he had heard how yerin didn't want anyone to know. jake knew that if they didn't announce they were together, sunghoon would continuously be flirted to by a bunch of girls, i mean he literally sometimes got sent random sticky notes in his lockers? and since sunghoon gets jealous easily, he knew if he flirted a bit with yerin, sunghoon would go crazy and end it by announcing that the two were dating. and that meant a very happy jake.

anyways, that was jake's plan.

just the sight of jake sitting next to yerin made sunghoon mad, he knew everything he did to her and to see him act so close with yerin made him full of rage.

sunghoon just stared at the two for a good five seconds until he felt someone put their arm around his shoulder, tightly, he knew it was jay.

"you okay? why are you just standi-" jay started to question, until he looked towards the view in front of sunghoon, which was jake and yerin sitting next to each other, with them both having a conversation with yujin, an engaging one, "ouch."

jay then patted sunghoon's shoulder, "stay strong brother, stay strong."

sunghoon gave a rather fierce state at jay, making jay instantly take back his words, "i'm just joking."

the both of them sat down in the circle of seats, directly opposite yerin and jake.

"guys! we have marshmallows and skewers!" a happy jungwon was running in the distance, running towards the campfire, holding a huge bag of marshmallows and skewer sticks.

everyone stood up from their seats, all excited, trying to grab all the marshmallows.

jay grabbed some marshmallows and a few sticks and asked sunghoon if he wanted some. he shook his head as he comfortably sat in his seat, still staring at jake and yerin.

he watched jake ask yerin if he wanted him to roast her marshmallows for her, as he knew how to, and since it was yerin's first time, she agreed.

jake even agreed to roast yujin's marshmallows too and sunoo offered to do wonyoung's. they all rushed towards the fire, obviously being cautious once they were like a foot away from it.

jake put the marshmallows on the skewers and then started roasting the marshmallows, yerin wanted to see the marshmallow roast in more detail, as it was her first time and she had pretty poor eyesight, so she slightly leaned towards the fire, not too far, a safe distance, but jake had placed his arm in front of her torso, indicating for her to step back a bit.

"that's a warning." sunghoon, who was watching this, muttered to himself, no one heard, as he was the only one sitting comfortably in his seat, everyone else was roasting their marshmallows.

once jake roasted the marshmallow he waved it around trying to get off some of the excess fire and blew on it.

"try this." jake muttered to yerin, as he moved the marshmallow towards her, and she smiled, having a small bite of the marshmallow as it was hot.

"that's a yellow card." sunghoon muttered again to himself, from the distance, his eyes glued to the scene.

"mmm! it tastes good!" yerin exclaimed as jake smiled.

"eat the rest." jake replied, yerin went in to eat the rest of the marshmallow, but her curtain bangs were getting in the way, he hair was all loose as she was in a hurry moving in and out of the accommodation.

jake then tried to brush her curtain bangs behind her ears, side-eyeing sunghoon, as she replied with gratitude, "thanks."

"red card. that's it." sunghoon again murmured to himself, he then got up from his seat walking towards yerin, as he kept looking at jake and yerin, watching yerin chew on the rest of her marshmallow.

sunghoon grabbed yerin's wrist, pulling her away from jake, well away from the fire, and everyone went silent. everyone looking at the two, as the action was rather sudden.

sunghoon kept staring at jake, intensely, everyone murmuring what was going on and why sunghoon was holding yerin's wrist.

"are they dating or something?" euijoo, one of sunghoon's friends, tried to whisper, tried.

"yes, you're right euijoo. me and yerin are dating." sunghoon announced, everyone pulling shocked faces, including yerin.
