You really loved the ocean.
But you love Cala even more.

She's the image of an ocean beauty that is almost too perfect.

You would stare at her for minutes before she would notice how weird you looked just staring.

But she didn't mind.
She thought it was cute. Like the size you are. Cute.
Her cutie little human.

Every now and then you would bring her gifts you find around the beach
Since she likes human type stuff like bottles and sunglasses.
Once you found an umbrella buried under sand.

It was cool and Cala was happy you gave it to her.
To humans these type of things are known as "junk" or "trash"
Things are different when you're a big ass mermaid living in the ocean.

Later.
You told Cala you were going to go look for treasures for the collections Cala had.
Cala smiles and kissed you on the forehead
"Good luck, GILfriend"
You smile and walk off
...
You were walking around the beach.
Looking for bottles or discarded items people have left behind.
A few good things.
A half eaten sandwhich (thats for you btw)
"Who would through away a good sandwhich?" You said.
You also found a red bottle, a orange flipflop, and a little plastic boat panited blue.
"Coolio."

You happily ran to where Cala Maria was sunbathing. Until you saw the unthinkable.
Cala was talking to another girl.
That was sunbathing next to her.
The girl was talking to Cala. Making her laugh and smile.
'what is that lady doing?' You thought
'that is my Cala Maria! I am the one who makes her laugh! And i am the one that makes her smile!'
You stormed over.

Cala spots you and flashes a smile and waves
"Hey (y/n). Did you find anything?"

You didn't smile. you didnt even look at her.
Your eyes were locked on the girl laying next to your girlfriend.
"Who is this?" You ask bitterly pointing to the overtanned, sandy blondie.
"Oh (y/n)! This is (put a white girls name here)"
"Like hey." She looked up at you wearing big and white sunglasses.
You snort at her and climb over to Cala's other side opposite of the weird lady talking to your girlfriend.

You peered over Cala's bare stomach watching the weird lady in jealousy.
The whole time she was there.

Four hours later......

You were salty about that girl talking to Cala.

"What's wrong (y/n)?"

She noticed you were scowling.
"Yeah. Actually."

"What's the matter?"

"That. Girl."

"What about her?"
"She was talking to you. Making you laugh."
You were embarrassed to tell her this.
You wished you were dead.
"Sorry" you apologized
Cala picked you up and kissed you
"Don't be."
