Karina never told anyone about this, nor anyone ever know about the fact that she had feelings for the younger actress. It all started one year ago when she was on the stage, receiving another award like she usually did every year.

On the way down to the backstage, it was a bit dark for Karina to see, before she stumbled and lost her footing, crashing her body onto the next presenter for the next award who was standing there, at the backstage.

That next presenter happened to be Winter Kim.

Winter's hand is on Karina's waist as she saves the older girl from falling. Her face furrows in a slight horror and confusion, before Winter asks, "Are you okay?"

Too occupied by how a beauty the person who saved her from a serious massacre, Karina stuttered with her words. "I-I'm fine. Thank you s-so much... for helping..."

"Not a big problem," is the only thing Winter could say at that moment before she released her grip from Karina's waist, rushing her step onto the stairs towards the stage.

Sadly, both Karina and Winter couldn't see each other's faces from the poor lighting.

Karina stayed for a moment, curious about the girl who saved her just now before the speaker in the hall echoed.

"Good evening. My name is Winter Kim, a rookie actress, and I will be your next presenter for the next award."

Karina smiled happily the moment she learnt the other girl's name. Winter Kim, keep that in mind, Karina. She told herself so many times when she walked her way towards her seats again.

She pulled out her phone, searching for that specific rookie actress named Winter Kim. She read and learnt everything about the younger girl.

Since that day, it was just too hard for Karina to pull away her attention from anything related to Winter Kim.

Winter Kim was a rookie actress that is a year younger than her. Despite being a rookie, her name skyrocketed since her acting debut, making her one of the most promising actresses of the year.

Karina was looking forward to everything Winter Kim did. Every work of dramas and entertainment show Winter attended.

She couldn't help herself from developing some sort of feelings for the younger actress. she even begged her fellow actress, Yeji, that if she ever got Winter's contact number, Karina wanted it so badly.

Well, sadly Yeji never gave her one.

Karina thought that this one-sided fan crush would be forever. She and Winter hardly crossed paths with one another, but then, one day, a drama offer came out of nowhere. The writer begged Karina for dear life to be the leading actress.

"Sitcom? I don't think I can do this, writer-nim," Karina flashed her apologetic smile towards the poor woman, not until suddenly the woman offered her something that Karina couldn't ignore.

"You can choose your pair, Karina! I swear to god, I'll get her for you!"

Karina is so tempted by the offer. Her heart screaming so loud, yet silently, wanting Winter to be her pair for this. If she could work together with Winter, Karina wouldn't mind working on a stupid sitcom. Karina didn't mind if she needed to act stupid in front of the camera.

She just wants to have at least, moments with Winter.

"I want Winter Kim to be my partner, please?" Karina's cheeks started to blush.

Two weeks after their first meet-up, the drama held a press conference for the actresses like any other drama would. There, behind the stage, Winter in casual dark colour clothes while Karina in a short black dress, stood quietly before they got her signals.

When the MC was about to call them on stage, Winter started. "I'll hold your hand. Just act all lovey-dovey like we should. Don't show them too much how you hate me," Winter scoffed with both her arms in front of her chest.

With her words, Karina immediately looks away. Not because she was acting rude, she was just shy to look Winter right in the face. The younger actress could melt her heart every time Karina saw her picture.

Now that she's right in front of her, Karina don't think that her heart could manage beating as normal as before. The worse is that Winter is all dressed up like a jock would really, really make Karina's heart overworking.

"Huh? You're looking away and have nothing to say again? Fine. I'll do what I wanna do then."

With Winter's last warning, the two actresses were called onto the stage. Winter leads the way as Karina follows right behind her. Both actresses show their professionalism by waving and smiling to the media and camera flashing. Not until suddenly, Winter held out her right hand to the older girl.

"Hold my hand, Karina," she said before Karina shyly took her hands without saying anything. The way Winter squeezes her hands makes Karina's heart flutters again. Do anything you want, Winter. I would follow whatever you say, she thought inside her head.

The two actresses pose some more, making heart signs to the camera, giving exactly what they want. The two actresses were supposed to be a couple inside the drama, they should show the media that they had the chemistry they needed.

When the media asked Winter how is it working with Karina for the first time, Winter faked her smile, "She was a great actress. Her acting is really realistic and she was a very professional actress in front of the camera. I couldn't help but be amazed."

"When you are all rude behind the camera, to me! Only to me!"

When it is Karina's turn to answer the question, all Karina telling them was in fact the truth that came from the deepest part of her heart.

"Winter was a great actress too. She was really patient with me and I really adored her capability of acting. I am always amazed by it every time. Working with Winter right now is really an honour for me. I have been waiting to work together with her for a while. I guess now that my wish finally came true."

Winter turns her head to Karina, glaring at her unknowingly with her fake smile, "Your wish came true, my ass."
