I have a motivational speech:
My hand doesn't like to draw smooth and connected lines, it likes to draw sketchy ones. Some people's hands are the opposite way. What I have to say is simply, draw how you draw. Don't look at other's creations and try to copy their style in your art. Yes, they have managed to get a beautiful way to draw, so you want to make yours look just as cool, but you shouldn't do that. Try to refrain from using references (except from anatomy references, duh). Draw how your hand likes to. It will pay off. ^^ If you feel defeated by art, that's just a way of showing that you can get better. Mistakes are proof that you are trying.
