Chapter 5: Breaking In and Breaking News

"So all of NY is poisoned?" RosaMariéChe asked.

"Yep, NOW do you believe we're the heroes?! "Clarice asked.

"Yeah and sorry... "

"Why do I have to do it?! "Hazel asked as her hands clutched the steering wheel.

"Because you are the most mature out of all of us " Ricardo explained briefly as Hazel didn't know where to start.

"OK Hazel, slowly get out of the parking spots – "Joon began until Eddie panicked and he screamed.

"We have no time, HAZEL HURRY!"

In nervousness, Hazel stepped on the gas and ended up crashing through the gates.

"What was that?! "Abigail asked, currently having a heart attack.

"I panicked OK?! I want to see you drive! "Hazel barked in stress as she drove the car back onto the road.

"That was your fault Eddie! You made her nervous! "Joon screamed at Eddie as Eddie got up in Joon's face.

"My fault?! I did nothing! I just gave her advice!"

"ADVICE MY FOOT! You placed a freaking ton of pressure on her! "

As they threw themselves at each other, they were hitting each other and choking each other as well, causing them to repeatedly block the side mirror of the car and they even push their fight towards poor Hazel.

"Guys stop! "She began until a bump. Everyone stopped in their tracks.

"... What just happened?" Toby asked as Amelia looked back and began to cry.

"Oh my god oh my God! "Amelia just wept as Bob looked back as well.

"What happened?! "RosaMariéChe demanded an answer.

"Well... Turns out someone collapsed on the road due to the cupcake poison and... "

Everyone got the bad vibe.

"We ran over them?"

"Yeah... "

Joon and Eddie suddenly stopped fighting.

"Are they dead? "Toby asked.

"I hope not! "Amelia said, still crying.

"How about I drive Hazel since you easily got distracted from the fight?! "Quan insisted as he began to grab the wheel from the middle row seat.

"Hey! Quan stop! I got it! "Hazel commanded as she still held the wheel but got no luck as Quan still held on.

"Quan let go! " Ricardo was trying to help Hazel as he began to tug on Quan's arms.

"How about I drive?! "Camilla asked.

"No way! Who knows how much fruit punch got into your brain?! "

"Well I wouldn't have had that problem if SOMEONE decided to help me..."

"Hey who told you that?! And besides, after all the times you threatened to kill me? No way!" Akimbo defended himself as Camilla could feel her cheeks becoming more red with anger.

"Guys calm down everyone! "Clarice screamed

"Oh shut up Clarice! "

"Hey don't tell her to shut up!"

"Why not?"

"Give me the wheel! "

"Stop it!"

"I had it first!"

"Why can't I tell her to shut up!?"

"Cause you need to shut up first!"

"Uhm...guys..." Kowun said quietly yet loud enough for everyone to hear.

"What?!" All the arguing voices asked simultaneously.

"Building..." Kowun pointed her finger towards the car shield.

As everyone turned around, their hearts began to pump faster as they realized they were about to crash through the wall.

"Wall!"

All of a sudden, glass flew everywhere as chunks of the wall disintegrated and saw dust fogged up the air. The car was a complete wreck, the front of the car crushed as the car was between the two shelves which held bottles of soda.

"Whew... Are we alive? "Ted asked until they realize Camilla teleported them out of the car in time.

"You're welcome!" Camilla implied.

"Wait a minute... You have the power to teleport?"

""Yeah!"

"Why didn't you tell us before we got into that DEATH MACHINE?!"

"Oh I forgot. Besides it only works in desperate measures!"

"Anyway we are here thank God... "Chris commented as they entered the quiet, abandoned supermarket that was once a bustling lively store. As they ran towards the sweet selection they saw the last box of orange cupcakes.

"There it is! "Abigail pointed at the box as they were about to get it, until out of nowhere, a girl wearing a black hoodie grabbed it and ran.

"Hey we need that! "Clarice screamed as she ran after the girl and tackled her. As she held her down, The girl began to cry.

"P – please don't hurt me... I just need one... Please... Please..." The girl sounded traumatize as if her family died.

"Wait a second..."

"Clarice grab the cupcakes!" Eddie commanded

"Wait...Why does she sound like... Me when I cry? "As Clarice got off the girl, the girl mumbled,

"My team..."

And she took off her hoodie. There was standing another Clarice, except her bang covered her right eye, and she had no blue highlight.
