Sam's POV.

"Its huge" Manga muttered. I nodded in agreement. " You'd think people exaggerated but nope here it is this big ass building."  I replied.  We swallowed. The building was akatuski head quarters. One of the best crime labs in america located in DC and we where coming here to work.

Its a shock to the both of us. We'd just gotten out of the School top of our class's When the boss called and offered us both a job.  Very odd but we werent about to look a gift horse in the mouth. Now here we were standing here not exactly sure what to do. "Did he tell you where to go?" I asked.

She shook her head. "Nope. Just to be here today" she replied with a shrug.  I let my head fall.  "What If it was a prank call?" she asked worriedly. "uh then we go crawling back to our parents hoping they'll let us stay till we figure something out." I deadpanned. That's when someone clamped there hands on our shoulders making us both jump.

"Well you must be the new guys or girls in your case." A booming voice asked.  we turned and saw kisame one of the workers here. He was a tall man with tan skin dark eyes and gill tattoos. He worked for the police officer part of the akatuski.  "Uh yea I'm Samantha and thasupervision  " i stated giving a big grin. "call Her Sam and me manga" manga added. He cocked his eyebrow at that. "Manga why?"

I snickered which caused her to send me a glare.  "Cause my annoying best friend started calling me it when we started college and it stuck." She hissed. I giggled. "Not my fault. you used to stay in and left me alone when I wanted to go to parties. All to read manga. Weekdays its fine to leave me alone but not weekends. This is my permenant revenge" I  stated threw giggles.

"So you where a party girl? How where you top in your classes?" Kisame asked. " I have photographic memory

which makes studying a breeze. Plus when we did a special program where under harsh supervision we did a case I helped crack the perp totally cool"  I stated sighing at the fond memory.

"ok then well I'll take you to pein so he can give you your bages and your crime scene cases. As for guns you'll have to take a test to make sure your capable of carrying."  he informed and began walking toward the building. we quickly followed not wanting to get lost.

We rode an elevator to the top floor and stepped out to see offices and a break room.  " Peins office is at the end I'm gonna go talk to the guys in the break room when your done come see me again so I can introduce you." I stated then walked off.

"He was nice?" Manga stated. I gave her a curious look. "why the question?" I asked as I walked forward toward the boss's office. "Well Sam where just kids compared to them. They've been working for years here and we just got out of school. Were complete noods. " She stated.

we where silent for a split second before I smacked her upside the head. "Stop being negative we were picked because we were the best in our classes and highly trained. So stop being captain negative and let's go get our badges." I stated cheeirily. She sighed. "One of these days your going to be sensible and look at things my way." she muttered as we walked into the office.  The boss was interesting to say the least. He had orange hair with purple eyes and a hell of a lot of piercings. "Oh You must be Samantha and Hayley. I'm glad to see you got here ok"  He stated. We nodded. he gestured to the seates. " please sit we have so much to talk about." he insisted. we both knew what about and sat getting ready for our introduction and to take our oath.

*Half an hour later.*

We finally finished the whole introduction and were able to leave the office with our new badges and cases.  "Such a boring speach" I groaned out. Manga smacked me. "Its important we knew all that."  she lectured. "oh not you to please god send help." I pleaded. 

Apparently someone was listening cause someone grabbed my shoulder and was dragging me away. "Hi there newbie. Im Deidara. Itachi one of your higher ups demanded you go to a crime scene that he needs help processing." he stated. I saw manga being dragged away by kisame. "uh ok see ya later manga." I yelled.

Ten minuets later.

We finally arrived at the crime scene. I pulled on my authorized crime scene jacket and grabbed my case hopping out. A black haired ivory eyed guy was close to the crime scene and he looked to be very impatient. "oh great he's annoyed. Listen just look down and do whatever they say." Deidara informed and walked over to the scene with me close behind.

"Your both late. Deidara take pictures. Newbie go see if the corenor needs help. and for the love of god don't screw up." He ordered. don't talk back manga's voice ordered. Biteing my tounge I walked over to were the body was.  A silver haired man was examining the body.

"uh itachi told me to come help." I stated. He looked up. "Well its about dam time! Help me pick the body up to check the wound." He demanded.  I put my case down and crouched grabbing the victims shoulder. "Do we know who the Vic is?" I asked pulling her up. "Yea Vic is Hana inzuka Found by Her brother kiba. Gun shot wounds to her chest right above her heart. on her right side. and I'm Hidan BTW."  he informed. I looked around. "Is it possible for this to be the crime scene? there's no blood spatter No sign of disturbance the only thing that seems out of place is the body?" I stated.

Itachi walked over. "There's a chance she was moved. I guess The newbie isn't quiet horrible." He stated . " A. my name isn't newbie its Samantha b. if you have a problem with me say it to my face. " I hissed.  He gave me a glare. "Ok Samantha go around the crime scene and dust anywhere that seems disturbed." He demanded. I sighed and got up "yes sir" I replied. I wonder how manga is doing on her case. Better than me I bet. she doesn't have a pretentious asshole as a boss.
