Love was the one to blame for everything we currently had.

Love was why we were born. Love was a single glance at that person who you would live for, because dying for someone was less worse than living the hell of a live because you absolutely love someone. Love was everything and nothing at all.

That's why Audrey Leblanc loved love.

She had arrived at Camp Half-Blood when she was eight, almost dying thanks to some lovely pit scorpions (Thank you, Hera!) and her non existent fighting skills.

A whole new world far away from her father seemed terrifying, and staying in a cabin full of sweaty children who knew nothing about interior design wasn't helping.

And then she was claimed by the goddess of love and beauty, Aphrodite, whose kids (Audrey's siblings) were kind enough to make her feel welcome and loved. After days full of makeovers, color pink and training, an old prophecy came to her ears, one which terrified children of Aphrodite ever since it was announced.

But one day, one who 11-year-old Audrey wouldn't forget, Aphrodite herself made an appearance at Camp Half-Blood, which was weird enough itselft, but not only that, she was asking for Audrey.

She took her daughter to Olympus, where Audrey had a very interesting conversation with lord Apollo (with a brief mention of how she should beware of bricks?) and other gods about her fate. So yeah, they expected she was the child from the prophecy.

So the gods had to warn Christopher Leblanc of her child's destiny, and that's when everything fell apart. Christopher refused to allow her daughter to live where she could be killed at any point or given time, so he kept her within the walls around their mansion, even if Aphrodite herself almost begged him to let her live in Olympus (you can tell how serious it was, Aphrodite doesn't beg!), he hired a tutor to homeschool her, trained her as much as he could and ended her conection to the real world. It didn't matter how hard it was to protect her from the never ending monsters. Her princess was safe with him.

Until Aphrodite appeared at his doorstep, claiming that the girl couldn't be hidden longer.

Oh dear child of love, beware of what waits for you.
