Tana opens her eyes and says "I'm sorry. Did I worry everyone?" Tana sat up to see Kazu was crying over her. "Of course you did. We're your friends and family." Soul said. Tsubaki, Maka, Liz, Crystal, and Ruby looked relieved. Kid was rearranging Maka's books. Patty was playing patty cake with Blare. Blackstar looked up and yelled "YAHOO!!!!!! I, the godliest person here, has healed you." Tana grins at Blackstar and says "Thank you. Now, I have some information to share with you." Everyone stopped talking and listened to the 10 year old. "I may have a location of where Ajelest is. When the bat bit me, I peaked inside of its memories. It comes from the empty chasm near their base. Let's go take down this witch." Tana stands up and, with little difficulty, walks out the door to the witch. Tana was completely calm, but her anger is flowing to Kazu. She is angry at Ajelest for what she did. Everyone followed Tana to the cave. Outside awaiting them was Tsubaki's brother. He walked slowly but calmly to Tsubaki. Once he got to her, he punched her in the face. Tsubaki looked shocked and started to cry. "Why would you punch me. WHY!!" She screamed. Blackstar looked at him, his intention to kill him apparent, then charged to strangle him. When Blackstar attacked, his head popped off to show circuits and wires. "It was a ROBOT!?!?!" Everyone except Tsubaki and Tana yelled. Tsubaki was still crying and Tana was comforting her. Suddenly Maka, Liz, and Patty were attacked by a unknown force. They were thrown back, about to hit a tree. Maka decided to get behind Liz and Patty before they impacted. Maka glided over and took the hit to the tree for them. A thud was heard as Maka got hit in the stomach from Liz and Patty. Once they stopped flying, Liz and Patty hopped up to see why the tree didn't hurt them. As soon at they moved, Maka fell to the floor, sucking in air and coughing up blood. "Maka!" Soul yelled as he ran to her. Maka is taking big gulps of air as she lays on the ground. Liz looks at Maka, dumbfounded by Maka's actions. Patty had wondered off to chase a butterfly. Liz asked "Why would you do something like this for us?" "Be......cause.......your.......my........fri.....ends." Maka says in between breaths. "Thank you." Liz says. Soul is enraged at her actions. He screams at her as she is being healed by Tana. "Why would you put yourself in harm's way for them!? You seriously hurt yourself." Soul screamed. Maka looked at Soul. He sighed and took that as an answer. Suddenly, an asymmetrical beast came off of the path with little bombs floating around him. Kid's eye twitched with murderous look in his eye. "What is this asymmetrical monstrosity before me. It makes me sick. I'm going to kill you!!" Kid screams. "Patty, Liz." "Right." The sisters transformed into their gun form and kid went on his fiery rampage. "You shall DIE!!!!!!!" Kid screams as gunshots fire at the beast. The monster withers and turns into a kisian soul. Kid hands the soul to Tsubaki. "Here. I can't have a uneven number. Plus, this is your first soul." Tsubaki takes the soul and eats it. She shivers as she swallows it. "Ugg." Tsubaki says. Tana interjects and says "Come on, this way. We're almost to the witch." She skips ahead and everyone follows. The misters carrying their weapons. Maka is leaning on Soul as they walk. Crystal and Ruby bringing up the rear, catching up on lost time.

"Well, well, well. Their walking right into my trap. I can't wait to play with them all, especially my two lab rats." Ajelest said, her outfit changing to her tiger faux fur tank top and shorts, exposing her stomach. "Hmm, Oh. Come on out, there's no need to lurk in the shadows, dear cousin." She says to a seemingly empty corner. Suddenly, Medusa popped out of the corner and says. "Why, hello, cousin. I'm surprised you noticed me so quickly." "Why are you here?" Ajelest asked, on her guard. Medusa grabbed Ajelest's shoulder as she says "Easy tiger. I just want to take out Maka and her team. Can I offer my assistance to help you?" Ajelest thought for a moment, then said, in a happy voice. "Why not! But Tana and Kazu are to be left to me, ok?" "Understood." Medusa said as she released some of her snakes. "Let's see how they handle this." Medusa said, with a evil glint in her eyes.
