The group was in Maka's apartment, discussing what to do about the "witch" problem. Everyone, but Patty, was somber. It squeaked and it had wings... it was a bat. Tana screamed "Stay back! It bites." She struggles with it and as sudden as it had happened, it disappeared. Tana is sitting there, panting. She looked like she was having trouble breathing. Ruby and Tsubaki were looking for any signs of pain. Crystal asked how she knew it bites. Tana replied "Cause... I... was... bit". She fell to the floor, exposing her neck, letting us see the 2 hickys on her. Kid caught her as she was falling to the floor. Tsubaki, Ruby, and Crystal screamed. She was still breathing, but it was extremely shallow. "Damn it! Ajelest struck before we could find her." Blackstar swears. Kazu was kneeling at her side trying to heal her, completely stricken with worry. This poison was made impervious to Shifters, and apparently magical cats because Blare tried too. She only made it worse. Tana's breathing was faint and weak. Kid set Tana down and went with Maka, Soul, Tsubaki, Blackstar, Ruby, and Liz to look for a cure. The group left Patty who was sleeping on the couch as they headed of to Dr. Stine's house.
