The sun rose signaling that it is the day of the final battle, the sun rays shone Crystal’s eyes causing her to awaken. When she opened her eyes, she smiled due the beauty of the morning. As she woke up a little more, she remembered that today is when she fights the evil Azareth and save the kingdom from it’s gruesome fate. Even if Crystal doesn’t show it, she is afraid that she may fail and cause the kingdom’s downfall. While lost in thought, she didn’t notice that the others were watching her and were worried due to not responding. Nuria stood up and walked over to Crystal, placing a hand on her shoulder causing Crystal to jump. “Are you alright, Crystal?” Nuria asked with a worried look on her face, knowing how much much pressure her friend must feeling as the final battle grew near. “I-I..” Crystal sighs and hides her face with her knees, “No I’m not, I’m terrified! What if I make the wrong choice or what if I mess it all up or –” Before Crystal could continue, Nuria covered her mouth with her hand. “You listen to me, Crystal. You are not going to mess up or make the wrong choice, want to know why?” Crystal nods her head and Nuria continues, ”Because you have your friends behind you the whole way to help you, no matter how hard long the journey is , we will be with you through the good and bad times.” Nuria said with a smile and proceeds to hug Crystal and soon Breeze, Zeus, Blaze, and Wisp join in. Crystal felt moved and happy to know that she had friends that were willing to help her no matter how hard it will get  When the group separated, they walked to the door of the room, Crystal turned to her group of friends and asked “ Are you guys ready to face Azareth and bring peace back to the kingdom?” The group looked at one another and then back at Crystal, nodding their heads, ready for whatever lies ahead of them. The group then left the inn, ready for the battle ahead, but little did they know, a shadow wisp was watching them. It soon disappeared to inform Azareth of what is about to happen. Once informed, Azareth stood there trying to think of a plan to get rid of the group. “ You have done well to inform me of this, now leave so I may deal with this myself” Azareth said without looking at the wisp and the wisp left him alone in the room. Azareth soon moved to the window while he paced around and due to the lighting, his features can now be seen. Azareth, unlike his kind brother with his neat and warm appearance, his appearance was jagged and menacing. His dark hair was pointed as if it were spikes, his skin a ghostly tan color, and finally his eyes were a terrifying blood red. People say that one look into his eyes is like staring into the pits of the inferno underworld.

Due to this, people avoid him as if he is a plague and never interact with him if it isn’t necessary. The reason for Azareth’s betrayal is because he is jealous of his brother who had the love of their people while the people feared or hated him. Over the years, Azareth grew angry and started to plot the end to the kingdom because he thought ‘If the people will not accept me, then they are better off erased from existence’. Soon after the flashback, Azareth started to plan how to be rid of the group and to finally get rid of the kingdom once and for all. ‘I think that it’s time for a little nightmare mind games’ Azareth thought with an evil smirk and soon called upon a pale humanoid creature with wide black eyes with a creepy white shine and sharp piranha like teeth.

“You called me, master?” the creature replied with the most dark and creepy voice. “Yes, Aku. I want you to separate a group that wants to stop me in my plans to destroy the kingdom. I want you to “persuade them” to not continue their way to the castle”, as soon as Azareth said this, Aku had an unsettling smirk on his face “As you wish, master. I won’t let you down.” And soon after, Aku had disappeared in a puff of black smoke. Azareth turned to the window, smirking and thought ‘ Let’s see how the group can handle seeing their worst nightmares.” And soon left the room and disappears into the shadows to continue with his plans.
