Once upon a time, an 8 year old girl named Crystal, was moving to a house out in a forest and was very excited to see her new home. Her parents, Lillian and Michael Rose, pulled up into the drive way and when Crystal looked out of the car window, and she saw the house.

"That house looks like a castle." Crystal said. "This house was built on top of castle ruins and the house is a replica of the castle that once stood here 951 years ago." Lillian replied. Crystal was so excited that she was going to live in a castle. She stepped into the castle and Crystal felt like she was a princess in the year 1066. Lillian and Michael showed Crystal her new room. The walls were pink with red roses blooming. When Crystal looked up at the ceiling there was a picture of a sunny day in the forest, there were birds flying around the trees, the deers were grazing the emerald green grass. The picture was like looking into an enchanted forest untouched by man. Crystal stood in the middle of her room, Lillian and Michael left Crystal to unpack her belongings. Mr. midnight, Crystal's stuffed dragon, fell on the floor. Mr. Midnight has black scales with white/silver dots across his underbelly, has silver eyes, and on his forehead is a white crescent moon. Crystal went to pick him up, then in the corner of her eye she saw an archway. The archway was made of crystal stones, there were pictures carved in the stone. The pictures were of a forest that looked similar to the forest near Crystal's home. In the forest was a lake with bucks and does grazing and drinking from the lake. In the very back of the carving was a silhouette of what seemed to be a horse, but with closer inspection the horse had a single horn in the middle of its forehead. Crystal ran to get Lillian and Michael, she dragged them to her room and she pointed to the archway. "Why is there an archway in my room?" Crystal asked. Lillian and Michael were just as confused as Crystal was. Crystal's parents went to the archway and opened the door and there was nothing but a pink wall with blooming roses. Crystal's parents closed the door and Lillian said "The previous owners told us that there used to be another part of the building that was connected by your room. But one day a fire broke out and destroyed it, the owners couldn't fix it so they left it alone. That's probably why there is an arch way in your room sweetie." Crystal didn't question it any further but there was still a question that still bugged her 'why was the door still in the room if that section of the house is gone?'
