Ready? Ready!

Welcome to part two! Note that was hard ranking these last few shows because these are some top tire seasons in my opinion. Not to worry, there's a few fan favorites in here, you if you're new to PR then you're getting the full experience-ish. Speaking of fan favorites here's one right now!

11: Time Force
10/10

Set in the year 3000 the time force team are police officers of sorts - not yet Rangers - but Alex is. THERE WAS A FREAKING ENGAGEMENT WITH ALEX AND GEN! But Alex dies, Ransik escapes to the past and the time force team gets fire.  I believe Gen drags Katie Trip and Lucas to get Ransik back. Yet another show that got dark at times. I loved Nadira's character development near the ending. She has such a huge change of heart when she realizes her father's ways aren't the best. Her and Lucas are cute, though the road getting there was interesting/hilarious due to some misunderstanding. I will say the crossover felt sort of rushed looking back on it. The plot twist when Alex is alive and rejoins the team had me screaming at this little idiot. Wes (who the team meets in 2001 and becomes the red ranger) is the better leader. Like hello, you don't ruin the teams chemistry. Also yes, the main ship of this show was Wes and Jen. There were hints they liked each other, some jealous moments, and the love reveal AH. Highly recommend this one.

12: Samurai
8.2/10

And this was the first show new show I watched, and it still holds a special place in my heart. It's cool how the team's parents were the Samurai team before them and got the power passed down to them when the time came. Jayden's big secret had me on such an edge for TWO YEARS. He's not supposed to be the red ranger - like what? He and his sister were separated so Lauren could go learn the sealing symbol to cast away Master Xandred because when their father did it would only last for so long. The team has such a great mix. Jayden being the leader who slowly learns that all work and no play isn't the best. Focused Kevin. Goofy Mike and Antonito. Sweet Mia and Emily. The fact Mia is the worst cook but the team spares her feelings is hilarious. Some decent backstories and character development. Mike and Emily was my shipping awaking. It was subtle/obvious they liked each other, some cute moments that had me screaming and yeah...they're a completely different rant and this is long enough as it is. There were a few specials....I enjoyed the first Christmas episode. It was a nice looking back via Emily's POV. The Clash of Red....oh gosh. Younger me did not understand anything at all, but once I saw RPM and went back to it....so many questions. Why is Scott the only one there, and why is he in his suit all the time? My mind is telling me it's because he's unsure if the air is breathable but I could be wrong.

13: Mystic Force
9/10

To put it in simpler terms this is basically the Harry Potter of PR. With that being said, it wasn't one of my favorites when I first watched it, but when I went back to it I loved it more than I realized. It has it's good creepy moments since that's sort of the tone of the whole show. This new guy comes to a town called Briarwood (I think that's how it's spelt) and the rest of the team all work in a record shop. Also the series where blue is a girl and yellow is a dude. I'm not sure what happens to gather them together in the first place, I just know the mentor leads them into the magical world to fulfill a prophecy. I went back to watch what happened and I'm only now noticing that when we first meet the team, they're not already wearing their given colors. Usually they'd already be wearing said color to help the audience know who will be who later on. That's a pretty cool detail. I don't remember much, I know there's a lot to do with family plot twist. There's was legit a whole family, mom dad kid everything who didn't know of each other until the last few episodes. More good plot twist, cute little ship, and....that's about it. I Promise this is one of my top favorites I just can't seem to remember much of it, and it's driving me crazy.

14: Dino Charge
10/10

THIS is my favorite morden season. It was done perfectly. I love how the team is slowly introduced with some members already being rangers while others are just discovering that they have been chosen. It reminded me a lot of things that were done in Wild Force. The ship in this show drove me absolutely crazy. It was love at first sight, alright. Anyways....the bad guy, Sledge is hilarious. He's basically a space bounty hunter who wants the Energems since they're ya know, powerful. But he doesn't get them and instead gets blasted and loses his bounty. So now millions of years later his back and of course, the rangers have the gems. This show had it's fun moments, while also the serious ones. Part of the reason why this is a favorite is because there are backstories to each ranger, and they're given more than one spotlight episode to really show who they are to the core for a better understanding. Each ranger all had different lives before joining the team and have to work out the odds and ends of it all while also working at the museum where the base is hidden underneath. Also the show to have the largest team to date, so they also have to find the Energems before Sledge does. Heckyl/Snide was wow. At first he's one of Sledge's captures locked behind a door that no one can go near. Another great character arch, and in the end it's revealed Heckyl was actually good, he was just brainwashed when he was taken over by his evil half.

15: Light Speed
10/10

First government built team, they don't have to keep the ranger secret, series right after Lost Galaxy. Did it hit all the right spots? Yes. The team all had professional jobs before being called to action. Yup. And that's what made it cool. Sure...it was a bit stalker-ish how they were chosen, but that doesn't matter. More character development. Backstories. We all know I live for that. Did the bad guys scare me? Absolutely. The giant plot twist with the "evil ranger" takes second place in my opinion. Yeah so, turns out we've got yet another sibling thing going on here. And it's some of my favorite episodes. Yeah so there's this new ranger morpher Carter is trying out, but the power is too much and it's a no go. Some stuff happens, we find out Diana's brother's - Ryan's - birthday, who she thinks is dead, but really - I'm not in the mood to rip my heart out - yeah so it turns out he's been with the bad guys the whole time getting brainwashed into hating his own family. In the end he turns good then goes some dramatic stuff happens and he goes away on a mission.

16: Jungle Fury
9/10

This was one of the more....out of the box per say. Personally one of my favorites. Sadly one I don't remember much of. I know it starts out as a team of three and the red ranger is a cub, meaning his still a newbie at the temple or whatever. The bad guy is actually a bully at said temple school and the real baddie sort of messes with his mind. Blah blah blah they end up at a pizza parlor where their new mentor works they become Rangers you get the jiff. Two more Rangers come onto the team later one. I promise this is so much better than how I'm making it sound, what I do remember I can't find the words. Heavily animal base, theme song slaps, the three core Rangers get extra animal powers of sorts, again another cute ship but not established much. There was like one episode that was based on Theo getting jealous over Lily and Casy's friendship. This is a see it to understand cause the bases of it is confusing. Good news the main baddie has a change of heart and no longer let's said baddie mess with his mind anymore and so does his right hand woman.

17: In Space
10/10

I don't even know where to begin. I LOVED the opening scene past villains all gathering together, OH MY GOSH YES! Like you hate them but at the same time it's nostalgic. There was so much mystery and it kept me on edge the entire time. Cloak dude, Astronema (purple/blue hair will forever be the best!) Dark Spector AHH. And that's just the opening scene. There's so much more in there, but getting back to the point flash over to the former turbo team their ship gets stuck in a tractor beam and thus their on the mega ship. Cloak dude is actually a ranger and a human but from space. One thing leads to another and bam they're now a team. The ship for this show yet again had me screaming PLOT TWIST! FROZEN SILVER RANGER THAT HAS TROUBLE WITH MORPHING. Astronema is actually Andros's long lost sister Karone, WHAT?! AND GUESS WHO SHE LIKES. GUESS?! FREAKING ZANE AKA THE SILVER DUDE AND ANDROS' BEST FRIEND. AH.  The Psycho rangers HATED THOSE GUYS! (someone please come calm me down). And that's the stuff I remember, there's seriously so much more I'm missing. Countdown to Destruction Oh my gosh amazing. Went all out for what was supposed to be the last season. The big baddies want the rangers to come forward or earth will be taken over (no seriously, every baddie on earth and space have taken over planets) And you'll never believe what happens, Bulk and Skull come forward as rangers, leading the town of Angel Grove to come forward as well and then the real rangers come forward and AH forever an ionic moment.

18: RMP
10/10

Apocalyptic world where an army of machines and a self aware computer virus takes over the world. The so called bad boy being half robot, a goof becoming a ranger to protect the green morpher, and the core three coming from completely different backgrounds to keep the only safe place on earth safe? I love this one so much! Like AAAHHH. RPM broke fourth wall alright, literally asking the biggest questions in the fandom. Why do they yell out the morph call! Why is there always an explosion once they do morph? This show had so many gags running AND the behind the scenes episodes, in character!! Summer, Dillon ship, yes, please. The corky ship between Doctor K and Ziggy? Adorable. Finding out Doctor K is actually a petite girl WHO MADE THE VENJIX VURIS WHAT. Tanya 7 is Dillon's sister.  Gem and Gemma...they didn't annoy me, but it was more like "what're they doing/why" which does fit their character. I could never remember which name belonged to who, but they were great rangers and did their part for the team in full, even if it was a bit chaotic at times. Did I mention the amount of gags in this season? There were so many funny moments. The "that is not spandex!" will forever be one of my favorite. This show did have its dark moments, but it wasn't as bad as some of the past seasons. I don't know how to explain it, yes it had its moments but I overall there was more of this cliffhanger mystery to it......like the cliffhanger where one of the Morphers glows indicating Venjix lives and it didn't get answered till over ten years later was wow. I cannot say enough how much I love this season, the writers did such an amazing job and as a viewer, looking back now I can easily see they had a lot of fun making this one since this was going to be the last one for good at the time.

And because I cannot choose between these two they're both my number one picks for different reasons.

19: Mighty Morphin'
10/10

Are we really surprised that this is also ten out of ten? Nope. Because this is where it all started. So many different characters with amazing development. The most down to earth season because with it being the first to come to America, plus it was in the 90s so everything was more down to earth. There's some everyday life lessons and someone a kid can relate too. The cast change mid season 2 was bit strange at first for me, but then I ended up loving them. Jason is the iconic red ranger but honestly Rocky's my favorite in MMPR. The green with evil episodes had me screaming, Tommy being brainwashed into being Rita's own personal ranger then turning good only to have his powers taken away AND THEN BECOMING THE WHITE RANGER! Kimberly and Tommy was an early ship of mine. Zedd and Rita getting married, Ninja quest, and just the whole thing Jason, Trini, Zach, Kim and Billy went through to adjust to their new lives as super heros is something that isn't done anymore. I know there's limits to a number of episodes but to me it is important to further the plot, especially if they're just ordinary kids with everyday lives. There was a raw and real friendship with the team, going to school, family matters, good natured fun and all that other stuff.

I now turn you attention to Bulk and Skull. The two high school bullies who have a long change of characters throughout the Zordon era. Like I said they start out as bullies who are mostly there for comedy sake, but as the show drags on they become desperate to find out who the Rangers are. Become police officers to impress the ladies, detectives in Zeo and even get turned into chimps in Turbo. But like I mentioned in the In Space rant they've completely changed into good guys. Yes they're still the goofballs but they're great characters.

And last, but certainly not least.

20: Ninja Storm
10/10

I will forever be bitter that today's kids will get it mixed up with Ninja steal. Anyways, another secret school situation like jungle fury, only this one was the og. The core team, Shane, Tori and Dustin attend said secret ninja school but are bottom of the barrel students. Of course they end up getting the Morphes after their whole school gets captured and they're the only ones left. The first gag about them not knowing the "call" and Cam (the techy) telling them from base is the - of how I react to - moments in fics. They're all different from each other and have different interests that complement their given element. Also the first series to switch blue to a girl and yellow to a dude. Also the first team to have another red and blue ranger....only having one girl and the core team being three....yeah so this one broke a lot of the typical formulas, but I digress. When Hunter and Blake come in though and then later finding out they were working with the baddie (or should I say were fed lies because the thunder power can't exactly be turned evil, it's ran by emotions. If I'm remembering it correctly). Yeah I love 'em a lot. More family related drama....the parters had me on freaking edge. By far my favorite season.

And that wraps up the PR rank. If you've read both parts, and made it through to the very end I clap you on the back for reading this and dealt with my younger self's inner fangirl.
