- Sabre's POV -

He was running.
He wasn't quite sure where, though.

Things flew past his head as he pushed aside branches, his other eyes flicking to examine the world around him, but his mind not spending time trying to figure out what they were, just focusing on keeping his main eyes on the path in front of him.

A spear flew past the right side of his head, and all the eyes on his right side flicked to watch it zoom past before stopping when it impacted against an old-looking tree with a THUNK!

Sabre yelped as some fabric on his shirt near his stomach ripped off as yet another spear flew past.

Wow, these guys are seriously wasting their spears.
Sabre thought with a small hint of amusement through his panic.

"Sabre! Stop running! You're only making this worse for yourself!" A familiar voice called, and Sabre wanted to turn and beg for Light to stop chasing him.

Light and the Colourless Guards had been ordered, whether by the Leaders or Light himself, to chase down Sabre.
Almost everyone was still convinced Sabre was corrupted by Darkness, and everything has gotten worse when his extra eyes he had been born with were revealed when the Darkness made Sabre drop his magical cover which had been hiding them.

Sabre was from a world where strange hybrids and creatures existed. He was a hybrid between a human and a strange spider/enderman creature that had multiple eyes and a few other abilities. Sabre had only gotten the extra eyes, but they were more magical than normal, but his abilities were hindered by his constant need to hide them and to not practice their abilities.

When he was in his old world, he at least could sneak away to a hidden area to practice (although sometimes he would be caught and would have to spend the night running away from a bunch of bandits wanting a cash reward for any strange creature's capture.
There was a ruler in Sabre's kingdom, who found these creatures dangerous and a threat to them and their people, so bounties were placed on every creature's head.

If it didn't look human enough, it would be hunted down.

But then Sabre went to his new world, and being one of the heroes was so demanding it was even rarer for him to get away from everyone and practice in secret.

He hadn't been sure if they would hunt him because of his strange looks, but now he knew they probably would've.

There were two definite reasons why Light was chasing him right now.
1. The Darkness.
2. His extra eyes.

Sabre sighed as he turned a corner, narrowly avoiding an arrow in his leg.

The yells and taunting calls had faded away now. Sabre remembered some from his old world.

These Steves were making it hard for him to forgive them.

"Sabre! Get back here! You can't run forever and running will just make your punishment worse!" Light called again.

"No!" Sabre called back, trying not to giggle as he realised he probably sounded like a child who was in trouble with his mother.

But this situation was a lot more dark than that.

Sabre turned another corner, but swung around and ducked into a bush.

He closed all his eyes except for the main two, as the extra eyes glowed in the dark, and he didn't want to be caught.

He spotted the Guards and Light screech to a stop nearby, all frantically looking around.

"Where is he?" "Where did he go?"

"Shhh! He's probably nearby. We might be able to hear him if we stay quiet!" Light shushed the chattering Guards and looked around with a small glare as it went silent, all Guards listening for any movement.

Sabre found himself holding his breath, trying to keep as still as possible to avoid being detected.

"Sabre! You're not getting away with this! We'll be back!" Light yelled, before murmuring a few retreat commands to the Guards around him before stomping off angrily.

Sabre sighed in relief, flopping down on the ground. All but two of his eyes closed, one on each side staying open to keep a watch for any possible danger.

I should get back to Time and Dark before they get worried about me.
Sabre thought, lying there for a few moments before getting up with a quiet groan.

His entire body ached from the chase and the injuries he had gotten during it, but he pushed himself to his feet and walked back to their hideout.
