First Year,
Merry Christmas

As Christmas Eve came, Phoebe grabbed a bag of their old toys, that would most likely be thrown away. She waited patiently for Lily to come and pick her up, they were going to the St.Mungos to surprise any child that was in the hospital on Christmas day with presents.

It was her way of giving to others during the season of giving, seeing someone's face light up, warmed her heart to know she did something good. As Lily arrived she quickly gathered her bag, that had an extension charm placed upon it to make travelling light easier.

"Are you ready to go?" she asked, smiling softly at her,

"Yes, there are lots of presents this year, we've grown out of most of them," Phoebe said, Lily held a portkey out for them, she held on to the portkey, closing her eyes as the world spun around her they landed on their feet outside of St.Mungo's Hospital.

"Right, let's go cheer someone's children up," Lily said, holding her hand as they walked through the hospital.

"Hi Phoebe back for another year?" the receptionist asked smiling at her

"Yes, there are so many presents this year," she said, holding up her bag,

Lily guided her through the ward where they handed over the presents to a wizard dress who had transfigured himself into Santa Clause. They stood in the doorway both with bright smiles on their faces, Lily wrapped her arm around her.

"It's a good thing, what you're doing for these kids," she said, rubbing her shoulder

"Well we aren't going to use them, might as well go to some who needs cheering up," she said, smiling up at Lily, they left taking a nice winter stroll through the muggle London.

Lily smiled as children threw snowballs at each, and a little boy made snow angels with his father. While muggles had no magic themselves, Christmas was a magical time for anyone. Phoebe noticed a familiar boy, she waved to him, there weren't many muggles that they knew but a few of the neighbour's kids were friendly enough.

"Merry Christmas Phoebe,"

"Merry Christmas, do you have anything special planned,"

"Not really, my family are having Christmas dinner at my grandparent's tomorrow,"

"That sounds like fun," she said,

"Yeah, I thought I might have seen Rhea, just in case I don't see her, here," he handed her a card addressed to Rhea Black, he hurried back home kicking his shoes against the step of his house, letting the snow dropped off before he walked into his house.

"Is that your friend?" Lily asked

"That's Jack, he kind of likes Rhea,"

"She doesn't like him,"

"She says, how can you go out with someone if you have to lie to them about who are you," Phoebe told her, she smiled to himself, "I think she likes him, and that's why she says that,"

"Well, she has a point, but many muggles and wizards have had happy marriages, your cousins wouldn't be here otherwise," Lily told her, they laughed as she dropped Phoebe back off home, "tell your mum, I'll see her later,"

Phoebe waved Lily, off just as Hope and Larissa hurried outside to hug her before apparated home. She walked over to Rhea handing her the card, to her surprise Rhea handed her one too, she creased her brows not expecting a card.

"To Phoebe,
I hope you have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
From, Cedric"

"Who's Cedric?" her cousin Max asked, reading over her shoulder

"He's my friend," she smiled at him, glancing over to Rhea open her card, she bit the tip of her finger as she tried to hide the smile on her face.

"Grammy's here," she hurried other to her great-grandmother, "let's take a look at you all," she said settling her bag on the floor. "Oh Ethan, you look more like your dad, every time I see you,"

"Come on, let her through," Sirius said, wrapping his arm around his grandmother-in-law.

"Who dragged the old bat in?" Walburga mutter as she walked by.

"I don't know how you and Regulus lived with her," she said, Sirius chuckled helping her to the table, "My dear, I'm perfectly capable of walking to the kitchen, no getting rid of Grammy, I'll outlive you all you know,"

"Is it a prophecy?" Sirius said, with a grin on his face.

"Oh you," she lightly slapped his shoulder, "my Aimee bear married well,"

"Cookies are done," Aimee said, the halls cleared as the children hurried into the dining room.

"Phoebe, how's my little Seer in training,"

"Could be better, Grammy," she hugged her tightly, Amelia pulled her great-granddaughter, away from her.

"What is it?" she asked, Phoebe, looked down,

"I don't what to do," she whispered Amelia took her into another room away from everyone, as though she understood what she meant she spoke.

"Sometimes it's hard to tell when you should talk about your visions," she began, holding her hand, "I myself struggled and my friend and his brother lost their sister, all because I was afraid to tell them,"

"So I should speak up more?"

"If you believe someone is in true danger, then absolutely tell them, if it's not fatal, then there's no need to, even if that upsets a few people, you're a person, not a crystal ball,"

She smiled hugging her Grammy tightly, she could always count on her Great-grandmother to make her feel better about her ability. She never made her feel different, she felt like she was a normal person with Amelia. Now she didn't feel so bad about not telling Rhea about the prank.
