First Year,
Easy To Talk To.

She spent the rest of the school term with Cedric, she accompanied him to the Quidditch fields, while he joined her in the library even if he didn't study and just listened to her read. He smiled whenever she talked about something she was interested in, he could really hear the passion in her voice, she could talk for hours once you got her going on a specific subject.

"It doesn't work like that it takes great, skill and knowledge," Phoebe laughed as he proposed his idea.

"Well, I'm just saying, it would be really cool to become an animagus, imagine it, me as seeker, being able to shift into a bird to catch the snitch," she laughed

"It is an amusing thought, but you never get to choose your animal form," she informed him, giggling to herself, "you could be a little mouse, what good is that in the air," he laughed, with her.

"We should probably get to the station," he said, noting the time, if they wanted to make it home for Christmas, they had to head for the station now.

She smiled, as they pulled their trunks through the courtyard, she was glad she gave her friendship with Cedric a chance. He was a nice boy and seemed so easy to talk to, unlike Rhea's friends, could she call the Weasley twins her friends, it didn't seem like they were. Though she had to admit they hadn't pranked each other in a long while.

"Hey, you two," Laura said, hurrying over to them, "you sitting with us,"

"I think I'm going to sit with Cedric, we're going to see each other at home,"

"Okay, I'll hug you now," Laura said, wrapping her arms around Cedric, "Merry Christmas, in case I don't see you when we get off the train," she hurried onto the train with Rhea.

She smiled at her sister, they hadn't had a full conversation, only bits and pieces in class. She walked along the train with Cedric she passed Ethan and his friends, she fell into the doorway as she braced her hands against the doorframe.

"It's just a silly muggle tradition, my grandfather's muggle," Lousia explained, Ethan looked up at the mistletoe above their heads, he leaned down pressing his lips against hers.

"Pheebs, you alright?" Ethan asked, she creased her brows, "Phoebe?"

"I'm fine, I just lost my balance,"

"You sure?" he asked, knowing the signs, she nodded

As she walked to the compartment she noticed that in her vision, Ethan and Lousia didn't look much different, to how they did now. What confused her most was she had seen Oliver kiss her, though they seemed to be a little older, she hoped that Lousia wouldn't affect Ethan and Oliver's friendship.

As the train pulled into the station, she saw her parents waiting for them, as she gathered her bag. She headed to the door, hurrying to her mum and dad, they wrapped her in a big hug, while they waited for her sister and cousins.

She watched as Laura said goodbye to her friends, while Ethan talked some more with Oliver, Penelope and Lousia. One of the twins handed Rhea a piece of paper, 'that had to have been George,' she thought knowing how much Rhea despised his brother Fred, someone tapped her shoulder catching her attention.

"I didn't mean to bother you, I thought I could write to you over the holidays,"

"Yes, of course," she looked back at her mum, "Oh Cedric this is my mum and dad,"

"Nice to meet, Mr and Mrs Black, I'm Cedric Diggory," he said, her mother nudged her dad.

"You too, young man,"

"Here," Cedric handed her a note with his address on for her to Owl him.

"It's already happening Sirius, your little girls are friends with boys,"

"Ha, that doesn't bother me, boys and girls can be friends," he said believing he won, then it clicked, "Oh, shit, we were friends,"

"Yes, and now we're married," Aimee said, shaking her head at him.

"Never going to happen mum, Cedric is a great friend, and so easy to talk to, unlike other people," Phoebe said, she smiled as he waved back at her, before leaving with his father.

As soon as they arrived home, she had forgotten how loud her brothers were. The second they walked through the door, they were greeted with an explosion that covered them in paint, Phoebe spotted her brother quickly making an exit up the stairs.

"Hadrian Regulus Black. Carden Evan Black," her mother shouted, "get your arses down here and get this cleaned up, I am not asking Kreacher, he already does too much for you boys as it is,"

"Glad to be back home," her dad asked

"No, if they stained my clothes, they'll pay," Laura said, shaking some of the paint off her.

"I've missed my little minions," Rhea said, applauding their prank,

"I'm going to shower," Phoebe said, hurrying up the stairs, she didn't see the point of taking all her books out of her trunk when she would only have to pack them again.

As she dried her hair, she parted her hair down the middle braiding her hair into two dutch braids. She heard a knock on her door, she huffed as she got up and opened the door. She smiled as Kreacher stood holding a cake, for her.

"It's from Miss Rhea, she made it herself," Phoebe looked down at the cake.

"I'm sorry, I was rude and yelled at you, love RiRi,"

"Thank you, Kreacher," she said, taking the cake from him, he walked into her room.

"Was Miss Phoebe okay at Hogwarts?"

She smiled at him, she sat on her bed, gesturing for him to come and sit with her, she told him about all her time at school. She told him of her friendship with Cedric and admitted that she had more visions than she believed she would, though she begged him not to tell her parents. She wouldn't want to give her father a reason to keep her home.
