The wind whispered to me last night I heard it speak with a soft voice........ We slowly trudged through the crunchy snow I checked my watch 8.00 at night we still had an hour before it got dark but it was already starting to get cold. Max ,my best friend, pushed in front of me to see if there was somewhere safe to put up camp."Why are we doing this Max" I asked "to escape" he replied softly. I picked up my pace and held his arm and pulled him to a stop "from what" I snapped " they'll catch us anyway" he looked at me in the eyes "not if we keep going" and with that he started to walk.
When we found a safe place in the snow we set up our camp and a fire. I glanced at Max and noticed how shiny his golden hair was and his handsome face. " Max I'm going to sleep okay" I whispered "okay good cause it's nearly 9.00" he said back with a slight smile.
"SNAP CRACK GRR" I woke up suddenly and wondered what the noise was I crept out of bed and looked at Max's sleeping bag which was empty slowly I opened the tent and walked in to the cold air and freezing snow. "Max" I half whisper/Shouted I looked around no reply I saw Max's figure come into sight he was standing hugging himself and looking into the sky. "Max" I whisper/shouted again he turned and looked at me then turned back "Max" I said tapping him he turned and faced me "Alex I'm sorry for dragging you out here" he said quietly "What are you talking about I've been wanting to do this ever since I was born" I said hugging him "really" he asked " yeah really" I replied. He hugged me back then Suddenly out of there a massive white pile of snow started rolling down the hill towards us " MAX AHH NO WAIT WAIT" I screamed running to the side dragging him with me just as we nearly got out of the way the snow tumbled down and hit Max causing him to fall over "NO MAX" I yelped " ALEX HELP AHH OW I I I LOVE YOU AHH" he started to choke as the snow covered him. I ran out of the way as the snow rolled down passed me I didn't care if it hit me I didn't care about anything anymore.
