Kate Pov

Now that school was over I began to head my way home when I notice Gogeta was waiting for me from what I know it is in his thoughts of keeping me safe and all.

"Good afternoon, Gogeta." I greeted.

"Hey. So how's your day been?" He asked.

"It's been quite good and not even Ruby had the nerve to mess with me." I replied.

"That's great! I just came by to let you know that your brother is going to spend the day with you. It's very urgent and I am going to leave the two of you be while I settle back our place until you get home safely." He said as I nodded and surprised that he wasn't taking me home today.

"Okay. Thanks for letting me know." I said until I heard a honk that was Edward who was waiting for me to get inside the vehicle.

"Have fun." Gogeta said in a almost down tone before flying away leaving Edward and me alone.

"Hey sis, lets go to the movies so that we can hang out." Edward said. 

"But, don't you have any work to complete for next month?" I asked.

"No. I've finished them and we can spend the day together." He grinned as I smiled to see that my brother wasn't working but having some free time with me.

When we got to the movies to see the new movie 'Venom' released that we were enjoying it. It was a great movie! Later on, we took a GT (grand tour) around the city and then stop by a cafe to order ourselves something to relax. 

"I never had this much fun since you were in your teens." I said in a happy tone.

"Me too." He said with a smile until it fell as he took a sip of his tea.

"Is something wrong?" I asked.

"Kate....I have something very important to tell you and I know it will put heavy weight on you." He said.

"Whatever it is Edward you can tell me and I will understand." I reassured him.

"I'm going to die because I have cancer going on in my body. I won't be here to keep you safe so I put Gogeta in charge to look out for you." He said as my heart dropped for hearing this as I balled my fist under the table.

"I want....to go home." I said as I bend my head down covering my eyes as he nodded in understanding.

When we arrived home I couldn't even look at Edward for hearing about his death over a damn cancer. He said there is no cure and now that I have no hope for what my future will hold would be living with Gogeta who doesn't work for a living. Edward was about to say something, but I was too quick to get out of the car and slam it before entering the house to see Gogeta watching tv with the pets.

"So, how'd it go?" He asked with a small smile.

"Peachy." I replied in a grumbling voice.

"Do you want to talk about it?" He asked.

"NO!" I said marching upstairs as I slam my bedroom door to collapse on my bed as tears poured out.
