Chapter 4| Bebe
Just a quick note before the chapter
I would like to dedicate this chapter to Tokimasu because this amazing person has agreed to draw covers for this series!
Anyway, on with the chapter!
There's a knock on my bedroom door which causes Red, Lola and I to look up from our phones.
"Come in!" I call, switching off my phone and facing the door.
Currently, we're all sat on the floor in a circle. There's a bunch of blankets around us, making it comfortable to sit and we have various drinks and snacks stored beside my bed.
My mum opens the door and appears in the doorway. She smiles at my friends, and then looks at me.
"Remember Bebe, it's a school night. Do you know what that means?" She asks, drumming her fingernails against the door.
"Yes, be asleep by eleven." I recite her words, and she nods, leaving the room.
Red stretches and shows us her lock screen. I try ignore the picture of her, Craig and Ruby looking awkward, but I can't help but giggle at it.
"Stop laughing at my lock screen," she glares at me and I giggle again. "It's nine thirty," she motions to the screen.
"Actually, it's nine thirty one." Lola points out, and Red rolls her eyes.
"I'm suggesting that we should change into our pyjamas." Red says, sighing.
"Okay!" Lola says, gathering up her clothes and heading to the door. I look at her confused as I go to my drawer to take out my own pyjamas.
"What're you doing?" I ask her, and she flushes.
"Well.. I don't feel comfortable changing with you guys." I tilt my head to the side in confusion.
"Huh? You're not insecure, are you?" I say, looking down her body and looking for something she could possibly be insecure of.
"Is she heck." Red says, shaking her head as she slips into her pyjama bottoms. "She doesn't want to change because I had a crush on her. Emphasis on had."
Lola flushes. "I would do the same if it was a guy who had a crush on me." She then leaves.
Red rolls her eyes. "No she wouldn't." I laugh, and agree with Red.
I remove my shirt, replacing it for my pyjama one. As I change, I feel Red's eyes on me. I give her a look.
"Perv." I say as she puts her hands up in surrender.
"It's just an instinct for me to look at an attractive girl while she's changing." Red shrugs, grinning goofily as I roll my eyes.
"Thanks for the compliment." I tell her, and she chuckles as she changes her shirt.
As soon as Red's shirt is on, Lola comes into the room. She sits beside Red, and I reclaim my place on the floor. Lola unties her long, brown hair from her pony tail and stares at me, her pale green eyes meeting my blue.
"Now!" She exclaims, making Red jump and drop her phone. She places her hands on her bare knees, leaning towards me. "Can you please tell me why you haven't broken up with Clyde yet?" She then faces Red before I can even comprehend the question. "And why haven't you told Kevin off for what he said, which hopefully isn't true."
Red flushes slightly, her cheeks tinting pink. "It's totally not true." Lola nods, and I snicker. Liar. "And well.. I kind of feel bad for him, you know?"
"No." Lola says simply.
"Well I did use him to convince my family I was straight." Red sighs.
"That was so dumb by the way." I point out. Red shrugs.
"I thought my dad would freak out, plus, you all know how Uncle Thomas feels about gay people." Lola shudders.
"What he did to Craig makes me sick." I nod, agreeing with Lola's statement.
"Well I'm out know anyway, and my dad's happy for me. And Craig is finally okay." She smiles at the thought of her cousins safety. "Now Bebe, you didn't answer Lola's question."
I look down at my lap, fiddling with the strings of my pyjama shorts.
"I was going to," I answer, "but I never got the chance I guess."
Lola scoffs as an image of Clyde with teary eyes flashes in my mind.
"I would've broken up with him a while ago. I want a strong boyfriend who'd protect me as soon as danger appears. Not one someone who would run away from the danger crying." Lola explains.
"I agree with the running and crying part. It's as if someone's always turning the handle, to a faucet behind his eyes." Red says, bringing her legs up to her chest.
"I don't need protecting. If anything, with me and Clyde it is the other way around." I say, ignoring Red's observation.
Yes he cries. Yes it's annoying. But do I really break up with because of it?
"Hey Lola," Red intervenes, "you know that most relationships were the male is dominant and strong often turn violent."
"At least I know Clyde would never hurt me." I say, and Lola shakes her head at Red's words.
"Does that mean that Craig and Tweek's relationship will turn violent? I mean, look at how dominant and strong Tweek is." I gasp at Lola's words.
"I hope not! Their relationship really is goals!" Red rolls her eyes.
"I'm pretty sure Tweek cares for Craig too much to even consider using his strength to hurt him." Red says, and Lola hums in agreement.
"Very true. But we've gone off topic again. When are you going to break up with Clyde?!" She demands, and I look at her.
"Why are you so desperate for me to break up with him?!" I demand back, making Red laugh.
"She probably wants to date him, she's always after guys in relationships." Red snickers.
""Just because I expressed Internet in Craig that one time!" Lola complains, pressing her palm against her forehead.
Red wiggles her pointer finger at Lola. "Uh-Uh! You 'expressed interest' in Kevin once, and Gregory."
"But who hasn't 'expressed interest' in those three?" I ask, and Lola nods. Red however, just raises her hand.
That makes Lola and I laugh, and Lola and Red go into conversation about people they each have 'expressed interest' in. While they do that, I decide to think about my situation.
I've been with Clyde for almost two years now. Do I really want to throw all that time away?
But has that time even been worth it?
If anything goes wrong on her dates, he cries.
If someone speaks to me who is male, he cries.
If he turns up late, he cries.
That's all he does.
He just cries, cries and cries.
No laughter, no smiles.
For the whole two years we've been dating, he's probably smiled at me three times. Three times.
But when he's not crying, he can be sweet. But that's rare.
Being with him, I've had so many wasted opportunities. When Token Black has asked me out, I declined for him.
Token. Rich, tall attractive and funny Token. And I turned him down for Clyde.
I sigh, making the other two girls look my way.
"I'm breaking up with him tomorrow." I take a deep breath. "I've really wasted my life for him, I declined a date with Token Black!" This causes Lola to gasp.
"And he has money!" She then leans over, and places her hand on my shoulder.
"Trust me Bebe, this will be one of the best decisions you've ever made."

That last line is important guys. I'm going to be remembering it.
Also, I've figured out I can't sing along to Melanie and type at the same time, as I found myself singing the words of this chapter as I typed them.
Finally, what do you guys think of the new covers?
