"Ahh you cheeky sod!" Hermione giggled
"Its true! we were upstairs and she went down like a ton of shit" Ron grinned
"Ok I did but it was your fault, you didn't dry the floor" she giggled
"Why would He? Mum always cleans and dries it!" George explained
"But still it wasn't that funny"
"Yes it was Hermione" Harry insisted crying with laughter
"Harry can I borrow Hedwig tonight?" Hermione asked
Harry knew the reason and smirked at her "of course, but only if I get the gossip"
"What gossip?" Ron asked looking rather confused and gormless
"Never you mind Ronald!"

"Are you guys going to Hogsmeade this weekend?" Neville asked
"I am for sure, and so is Ron" Hermione smiled
"Yeah same here" Harry agreed
"We should have lunch and butter beers down at the three broom sticks" Ron suggested
Everyone was in agreement

"I'm gonna head up to the girls dormitory, I'm tired." Hermione said
"Goodnight" they all said in unison before returning to the chatting
No doubt about quiddich or wands

She put her night shirt on and sat down on the bed with her legs crossed
Then grabbed a quill and parchments from her side table draw and tried to think about what to say to Professor Snape, She didn't want to say the wrong thing

Hermione thought she shouldn't have pressed about his feelings again, but it was sent now
Hermione rested on her bed studying one of her books, like the know it all she is
A bright young witch with a very promising future

Ginny came into the room and climbed onto her bed, her hair still damp from the shower
"You should get some sleep you know, it's all good studying now but if your asleep in class tomorrow it will have been a waste of time" Ginny said
"I know Gin, but I really don't want to mess up the exams and I feel like I'm falling behind in a few classes" Hermione explained to her redhead roomate
"You? Falling behind? As if Granger" Ginny laughed throwing a pillow at her
Hermione threw it back at her.

There was a knock at the window, it was Hedwig. Hermione went to the window to collect the note and thanked the bird with a feather ruffle
"Who's that from at this time?" Ginny asked nosily
"Just a pen pal" Hermione sighed
"Cool, well I'm going to sleep goodnight bookworm" she giggled and snuggled down for the night
