It Feels Like Jealousy
"Hermione, are you going home for Christmas?" Severus asked the witch as he played with stands of her hair
"Maybe, but my family are always working though. Honestly you would not believe the amount of dental drama's people have over Christmas" she sighed pushing her lips to meet his
"Why don't you come with me to spinners end?" Severus suggested
"I'd love to, but I don't want to leave Harry unless he's going to the burrow"
"Well make sure you find out today what Potter is doing, I don't know why you care that much about him"
"He's my best friend. Stop being jealous" Hermione grinned
"I am not jealous" he grumbled
"I think you are...." Hermione teased wrapping her arms around him and kissing his chest
"Hermione I am not jealous of that inarticulate bumble" Severus sneered
"Prove it. Invite Harry to Spinners End"
"Never! Have you completely lost your mind??!"
"If you're not jealous, it will not be a problem will it"
"No way, not until hell freezes over" Severus grunted standing his ground
"It would make me so happy Severus" Hermione pleaded with big puppy dog eyes
"Don't look at me like that.... the answer is no."
Hermione rolled over on her side disappointed and closed her eyes, not saying another word
"Do not sulk Hermione, insolence is not a good look on you" Severus sighed and went to sleep
After a while Severus was snoring away and Hermione left the dungeons
She was not in the mood to be around him, although she really loved him she couldn't get her head around his hatred for Harry, surely he should adore Harry he is the son of her first love after all. She made a vow to herself that's she would get to the bottom of this
