They arrived back at Hogwarts mid afternoon. Hermione was in Severus' chambers
"Thank you for inviting Harry" she smiled up at him, he kissed her soft lips delicately
"I'd do anything for you my love" he chuckled pulling her body close to his
"Severus, about last night..." Hermione started
"I enjoyed it so much, I'm hoping you can make that a regular occurrence" he chuckled
Hermione grinned, he really was as kinky as her
"Although, to be honest I'd rather like to return the favour" he smirked sexily
Hermione shuddered at the thought of Severus' tongue touching her there
Severus pulled away from their embrace as he knew he had to report to Albus

Hermione returned to the gryffindor common room and joined her friends on the sofa
She felt happy to be back at Hogwarts but deep down she wished to be with Severus in spinners end where they didn't that's anything to hide
"How was your Christmas 'Mione?" Ron asked pleased to see her
"It was fantastic Ron, I had the most amazing time." She replied with a small smile
"Did you do anything special?" He smiled looking gormless as always

"Yes I did, it was magical Ron, I received lots of lovely gifts and tasted some foreign delicacies" she smirked. Harry snorted at this
"What are you on about?" Ron quizzed looked totally confused
"Just some tasty dried fig rings my parents brought from a local delicatessen" she smiled
Harry snorted again
"Yuk, I hate figs they cause major problems in the butt department" Ron grinned obliviously
"Oh they certainly did that Ronald" Hermione tried to hold back her laughter

"Well I'm pleased you had a good time Hermione, I just wanted to tell you how sorry I am about how I treated you. I still love you and I really want to make it right between us, could you give me one more chance?" Ron blushed desperate for her to say yes
"Ron, I appreciate your apology but you and me are over" she said firmly
"Just one chance 'Mione, that's all I ask" Ron pleaded
"I'm sorry Ron but I'm in a relationship now, and we plan to marry when I'm old enough"
She smiled, cruelly shoving her ring in his face
Harry didn't quite know where to put himself, Ron was his best mate yet he had to keep quiet
She could see the heartbreak in Ron's eyes, he congratulated her and walked away pained by the news.
"Well he deserved it" Hermione explained to Harry who looked at her with an awkward glare

Hermione couldn't be bothered with dinner and instead fancied a walk, some fresh crisp winter air would do her the world of good
She wrote an owl to Severus asking him to join her

She sent Hedgy on his way and wrapped up warm before she made her way down the corridors
Hermione was walking down the steps to the castle when she heard a silky voice behind her
"My love" Severus growled blissfully, and walked alongside her.
"I've missed you all afternoon" she smiled at him and once out of sight he took her hand in his
"And I have missed you" he squeezed her hand gently
"Ron asked me for another chance..." She laughed but Severus looked worried
"I told him I am engaged to marry" she grinned proudly
Severus looked deep into her eyes and smiled, she really was his now
"I hope you don't become tempted by his charms" he said sadly
"Never. I have the greatest most sexy and perfect man" she smiled pulling him to her
The black lake glistened behind them and they kissed in the moonlight

"Sev, I want to know something and you have to be honest" Hermione sighed with a beautiful smile
"I'll be honest with you my love, ask away" he soothed
"Do you love me more than you loved Lily?" She looked away from Severus rather nervously
"Yes, yes I do. I've never loved anyone this much before. Hermione... You are the definition of the word perfection, you're clever, kind, Extraordinarily beautiful... I have to pinch myself every day to remind myself that you are truly all mine" he smiled stroking her face delicately with his hand
Hermione felt safe, loved and comfortable. She knew now that he was 'the one'

"Shall we return to the castle my love? you're going to catch your death out here" Severus smiled and took her hand leading her back to the castle. Once back at the castle he let go of her soft cold hands and changed into Snape. "Miss Granger, follow me" he ordered in his cold monotone drawl and she did as requested, secretly feeling warm and fuzzy inside

"What are you doing out of bed?" He scolded a young 2nd year Hufflepuff
"Sorry sir...I...." The girl whimpered
"20 points from Hufflepuff, return to your dormitory immediately" he boomed
The youngster ran off as fast as her legs would carry her
"You are cruel sometimes" Hermione sighed, Severus turned to her with a scowl
He led her down to the dungeons and into his chambers, he placed a silencing charm on the room and chuckled with a naughty glint in his black diamond eyes
