The next day Harry and Hermione were in the hallway after dinner with Ron, Neville and Ginny.
"Ron, I have something I want to tell you, and I don't want you to be upset...." Harry began
"Yeah, go on what is it?" Ron grinned, Hermione could see Harry was going to back out and pinched him. "The thing is...Ginny and me, we're kind of seeing each other" Harry sighed, he looked up at Ron for a reaction but he was just stood there with his head in his hand
It didn't take long for Ron to look back up at Harry, and then it happened

SMACK. Harry went flying to the floor clutching his nose which bled profusely
There was screaming and shouting all around and Neville was holding Ron back
Hermione fell to her knees to check on Harry who was shaking from the shock
"Ron, you're an absolute turd!" She roared at the ginger twat
Student's gathered around creating a circle and Severus parted the crowds to take a look
He saw Harry the floor and Ron being restrained by Ginny and Neville. He grabbed Ron by the collar of his shirt and dragged him down the hallways, Ordering Hermione to bring Harry to his classroom

Severus took the orange weasel straight to Dumbledore who punished him for his behaviour
He left the boy with Albus and Minerva and headed back down to the dungeons
"What the hell happened?" Severus roared as he entered the room to see Hermione cleaning up the blood. "Harry told Ron about his relationship with Ginny, and this is Ron's immature reaction" Hermione explained.

"I see, well it has always been said to avoid ones best friends sibling" Severus smirked, Hermione shot Severus a glare "you can't control who you fall in love with Sev, or have you forgotten that?" She scolded causing his smirk to drop, he nodded
"He will calm down in time, Harry" Severus smiled slightly
"But for now I will tend to your wounds, there is no need to disturb Madame Pomfrey over this" he sighed standing up from the desk he was leaning against

"This might hurt a little Harry, I must warn you" Severus said taking his wand in his hand and pointing it at Harry's face. "Episkey!" He said silkily and a crack was heard
Harry grimaced as his nose clicked back into place. "Thanks" Harry sighed Severus could see the poor boy was still shaking from shock. "One moment" he said disappearing into his chambers
He returned a few minutes later with a large glass of fire whiskey. "For the shock" he explained handing Harry the glass. Harry smiled and drank it slowly.

"All I wants is for Ginny and me to be together and Ron to be excepting, he went off like I killed someone, Herms" Harry sighed "I know, he was just shocked and he get over it I promise" Hermione smiled. Harry took another swig of his drink. "Sev and I are going out to have some dinner at the new gourmet place in Hogsmeade this weekend... 'The Magic Kitchen' why don't you and Ginny come too! It can be a double date!" Hermione suggested trying to cheer Harry up
"Yeah, that would be great...but I bet it's expensive" He sighed "Harry, you have a small fortune in gringotts!" Hermione laughed and Harry agreed. "Well it would be nice to take Ginny somewhere special" he beamed. "That's a date then" Harry smiled.

After a short while Harry left the potions classroom leaving Hermione and a deathly silent Severus alone. He was sat at his desk grading "Why did you have to invite Potter and Weasley along?" He sneered
"Because he could do with cheering up, he needs someone to be supportive of his relationship!
I know it was meant to be a special night for us but let's not be selfish...we have all our lives together" Hermione smiled massaging his shoulders.
"It's a good thing that your selflessness is one of the reasons i love you so much" he chuckled

"How much do you love me?" She asked coyly
"Lots, probably too much" he sighed in frustration
"Hmm, I'm not sure I believe you Sev.." She said plainly, he looked at her offended and was about to demand her to explain when she smirked at him and slowly raised the hem of her skirt exposing some more leg. "you might just have to show me how much......" She giggled biting her lip. Severus growled like a hungry lion and carried her to his chambers......
