Hermione burst through the doors of their chambers with a huge grin on her face, "you seem to be empty handed, my love." Severus smiled greeting his witch with a loving kiss.
"Ginny is looking after the dress, I know you're too nosey!" Hermione jibed, wrapping her arms around Severus' neck. "I have something to show you." He smirked, leading Hermione to what she knows as his spare room.

Hermione gasped when she entered and saw what Severus had done, it was painted a pastel Yellow and had golden snakes and lions in a kind of mural on one wall, swirling together in harmony. It looked truly magical, "I wasn't sure of it was pink or blue or even both that was required, so I thought this would suffice, this place is rather dark and I thought I'd bring some sunshine into their lives."Severus explained shyly, Then added, "we can decorate Our home in Spinners End once they arrive." Hermione was mesmerised "And you've put both Snakes and Lions!" She gushed happily, tracing them with her fingers. "Well it's important that they know exactly where they came from." Severus chuckled. Hermione saw the two cribs, with a teddy bear in each one and burst into tears, tears of joy. She grabbed him and pulled him into a tight hug, I love you Severus, you have no idea how beautiful you are inside and out." "Well, beautiful is not a word I would personally use to describe myself," he chuckled, he felt like all the years of pain he had endured were worth every single torturous moment when he held her, his perfect wife to be.

Later that evening Hermione told Severus about Hilda, and he was shocked to hear that she knew him. He had no recollection of her or her husband what so ever, he always prided himself on his good memory though so he could only put it down to the fact he was very young, Only a small boy.
"I can't wait to get married." Severus sighed, "me too." Hermione smiled, although Severus could see hesitation in her eyes. "You do want to do this?" He inquired beginning to worry slightly that he may be pushing her. "I do, it's just... My parents." She explained, and he understood. They couldn't enter the magical world, and therefor would be unable to attend.
"My love, I will try to find a way. If there is one it will be found, I promise." "And if there is not?" She sighed, "then we will marry twice my love, anything you wish." Hermione loved the way Sev always discarded her worries and put her at complete ease.
