You sucked at math. Absolutely sucked at it. Whenever you would walk into your math class you could feel your stupidity stronger than ever. Which of course meant that your grades weren't exactly the best. So, it was no surprise when your teacher asked to speak with you after class.

"Y/n, can I speak to you after class?" Your teacher called out from their desk. A few kids snickered at you and you could feel your face turning red.

"Sure..." You groaned internally. Oh my gosh that was so embarrassing. You looked up from your math worksheet to see c/n smiling at you. Your face turned as red as a tomato. He probably thinks I'm so stupid, you thought to yourself.

Soon enough, class was over and you had to speak to your teacher.

"Y/n, as you may know you are failing my class." You nodded and looked at your feet in shame. You knew you were failing this class, everyone did.

"Well, I have decided to assign you a tutor. C/n offered to help you with your math for extra credit. The tutoring sessions will take place after school in a location of your choice."

You stared at her, face red and eyes wide. You couldn't have c/n as your tutor, he would know how bad you actually were at math.

"Um, I'm sorry but is there any way that someone else could tutor me?" You asked hesitantly.

Your teacher shook their head and frowned, "No y/n, I'm afraid it will have to be c/n.  You are excused." Your teacher waved you off, and you basically ran out the door.

*timeskip to next day after school*

You stood outside the school, shifting your feet awkwardly. C/n had asked you to wait here for him while he grabbed something from one of his classes. He had decided that it would be easiest to tutor you at his place, since he lived close enough to walk. You of course, agreed. You would agree with anything he said honestly.

C/n finally walked outside and smiled at you, "ok, let's get going."

You blushed and nodded, walking behind him. You were so nervous. It felt like butterflies were attacking your stomach as you walked with him. It was awkward at first, but eventually you talked as you walked.

Somehow you ended up talking about f/i, and you found yourself rambling. Your eyes lit up as you explained everything you loved about it. It was almost like you were in a daze.

Eventually you came to your senses and blushed a dark red, "Sorry, that was weird."You looked down at your feet, embarrassed.

C/n laughed, "No, it was actually pretty cute."

You blushed even darker. The butterflies in your stomach felt like they were birds now. "Really?"

C/n blushed slightly and bumped your shoulder. "Yeah, but I think the rest of you is cute too. You're really cool, y/n."  You were absolutely glowing red at this point, but he continued. "And I was wondering if maybe you wanted to hang out sometime. Like a date?"

You smiled wide and nodded as you approached his home. C/n smiled back as he invited you in, ready to tutor you.
