Panicked, you say to your mom, "Mom, I don't know if we're going to be able to find a wedding dress this close to the wedding! Maybe we should've looked before now!" Your mom grabs your hands and calmly says, "Sweetie, listen to me. It's only 2 weeks until the wedding. I promise, we will find you a dress." You take a deep breath and say, "Ok. Thanks, mom." Y'all hug and your mom replies, "You're welcome, sweetie." A few minutes later, you come across a beautiful, rainbow, pastel wedding dress with a baby pink bow belt. You go try it on and it fits perfectly. So, you go show it to your mom and exclaim, "Mom, this one's perfect! What do you think about it?" Your mom replies, "Oh, sweetie, you look beautiful in it and it'll go great with my old veil!" You smile and say, "Thanks mom." Your mom replies, "You're welcome, baby." Then y'all leave and go get your wedding cake. When y'all arrive to pick a cake, y'all sit down at a table and start tasting the flavors. There were 10 different ones to choose from. You finally decided on y/f/f, which is also Y/c/n's favorite. Then, you and your mom order it. Then as y'all start to leave, you notice a cute bunny cake topper. You point it out to your mom and exclaim, "Mama, look at this cake topper. Isn't it so cute?" Your mom replies, "Awwww! That's adorable, but doesn't the cake come with a cake topper?" You say, "Well yeah, but this one goes better with the Easter theme. Don't you think?" Your mom says, "Yeah it does. If you like this one better, then I'll get it for you." You say, "Ok, mom. Thanks." Your mom replies, "You're welcome." Then your mom pays for it and y'all head to the flower shop. A few minutes later, you tell the clerk that you would like pastel rainbow flowers for your bouquet and the altar, but the clerk says that she won't have any flowers like that in until a week after the wedding. Then you turn to your mom and ask, "Mama, what should I do?" Your mom replies, "Just relax baby. Leave it to me. I'll figure out something you'll love even better." You say, "Ok, mama. Thank you." Then your mom tells the clerk something and y'all leave to go get bridesmaids dresses. When y'all get there, you tell your mom, "Ok, mom. For the bridesmaids dresses, I want a long, pastel pink dress and for the maid of honor, I want a little bit darker, pastel pink dress." Your mom says, "Ok, baby. Let's get to searching." So, y'all start looking and a few minutes later, you find the perfect bridesmaid dress. It's just what you were looking for. So, you ask the clerk if they have 3 more like it and she tells you, "Sorry. No, we don't. That's the only one." You say, "Ok." Then you walk over to your mom and start crying. She asks, "Oh, sweetie, why are you crying?" You say, "They said that they don't have 3 more dresses like this one this close to time. We've had so many different things going wrong today so, maybe we should just call off the wedding! Maybe 6 months is just too soon for a wedding!" Your mom wraps her arms around you and says, "Sweetie, we'll figure something out and we're not calling off the wedding. 6 months is not too soon if you and Y/c/n truly love each other. Everything is going to be ok." You sniffle, "Ok, mom. You're the best!"

~2 weeks later

Your big day has finally arrived! You are going to be marrying the love of your life in just an hour. Your bridesmaids come in and start getting ready while your mom gets you ready since she's already dressed and everything. Your mom does your makeup then you put your dress and shoes on. By then your bridesmaids are ready and you turn around and look at them. You were amazed. Your mom said that she would figure something out and she did. The bridesmaids dresses aren't just alike and they're not what you had in mind, but actually they're better than what you had imagined. Each bridesmaid is wearing a pastel color and the maid of honor is wearing a darker pastel pink dress just like you requested.

You look over to your mom and say, "Well mom, you said that you would figure something out and you did. It's not quite what I had in mind, but it's actually better than what I had imagined. I love them. Thank you so much mama." Your mother smiles and replies, "I'm glad you like them, sweetie and you're so welcome." You give her a hug then she fixes your hair and by now it's 20 minutes until your dad walks you down the aisle. Your mom steps back and looks at you.

She gasps, "Oh sweetie, you look so beautiful!" You smile and say, "Thanks, mom." Then she says, "Oh, I almost forgot." Curious, you ask, "What is it, mom?" She replies, "I wanted you to have these to wear on your wedding day." Then she gives you a pair of blue diamond earrings shaped like Easter eggs. You exclaim, "Wow! Thanks, mom! I love these!!!" Then you put them on and give her a hug. She says, "You're welcome, baby." Then, your dad walks in, links his arm into your arm, and asks, "So, are you ready?" You smile and say, "Ready as I'll ever be." He then starts to walk you down the aisle and you see the altar.

You say to your dad, "Wow! This is so beautiful. You, and mom really out did y'all's selves." Your dad says, "Well, I'm glad you like it, but your mom did most of the work." You laugh and say, "I thought so. She loves to decorate." Your dad says, "Yeah, ever since I've known your mother she's loved to decorate." When you get to the end of the aisle, your dad hands you over to Y/c/n, kisses you on the cheek, hugs him, and whispers in his hear, "Take care of my baby girl and remember if you hurt her, I'll hurt you." Y/c/n whispers back, "I'll take care of her and I promise you, I will never hurt her. I love her." You smile at that. Then your dad goes over and sits down next to your mom. After he sits down the pastor tells everyone to sit down. Then Y/c/n grabs your other hand and says, "You look beautiful." You reply with, "And you, look very handsome." Then, it's like you, Y/c/n, and the pastor are the only ones there. Like nothing else matters. Then, the pastor says, "Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to witness this man and this woman join together in holy matrimony." Then, he says to us, "You may now read the vows each of you wrote." Y/c/n says, "I'll go first." Then he proceeds, "I remember the day we met." He looks at his watch and says, "It was exactly 10 years ago to this minute that I fell in love with you. You were 10 years old and our church was having an Easter egg hunt after church. I remember, you were so excited. Then after church the hunt was on. You went racing out of church with your Y/f/c Easter basket. You looked so cute with your little Easter bunny ear headband and Easter dress on. You and I both loved Easter especially hunting Easter eggs. About 10 minutes later, you and I both had quite a few eggs, but there was still one more special egg to find. Then about 5 minutes later, we both found the egg. We bent over at the same time to pick it up, but I got to it before you did. Your hand was on top of mine instead of the egg so you stood up, turned, and started to walk away. Then I stood up and said, "Wait aren't you forgetting something?" You turned back around and asked, "What?" I held out the egg and said, "This." You said, "But your hand was on it first. Technically, it's yours." I said, "Nah, I have plenty of them. It's yours." You said, "Really? Thank you!" You gave me a hug and I said, "You're welcome." It was at that moment that I knew you were the one I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. Y/n, I promise you that I love you now, I'll love you tomorrow, I'll love you next month, I'll love you next year, I'll love you during good times and bad, and I'll love you till the day I leave this world." After he finished his vows, it was your turn. You sniffled, wiped a tear away, and said, "I don't know if I can follow that, but I'll try." Everyone laughed when you said that. You continued, "That was beautiful Y/c/n." You take a deep breath and say, "Well Y/c/n, you probably didn't know this, but I also fell in love with you that day. I just never told you because, I didn't think you felt the same. After you gave me the egg that day, I ran right over to my parents and told them that a very kind boy named Y/c/n gave me that egg. I told them the whole story. Then after we went home, I couldn't stop thinking about you. The next Sunday, I wanted to tell you exactly how I felt, but I was scared that you wouldn't feel the same and that I would get turned down. So, I didn't tell you. I decided to wait a year then I would tell you, but I didn't tell you then either. I chickened out. Then, after another year, I was going to tell you, but I chickened out again and the year after that. Finally, the fourth and final year came that I was finally going to tell you exactly how I felt, but thankfully, you told me that you felt the same way about me as I did about you 1 Sunday before I was going to tell you. After you told me, I felt like I was floating on air. I was so happy that after 4 years, we were finally going to be together. I love you so much, Y/c/n. Always and forever." As you finished, you saw your soon to be husband crying a little bit. Then, the ring bearer brought the rings to both of you. Y/c/n took yours, placed it on your finger, and said, "With this ring I thee wed." Then you took his, placed it on his finger, and said, "With this ring I thee wed." Then the pastor spoke and asked, "Do you, Y/f/n take Y/c/f/n to be your lawfully wedded husband, to have and to hold in sickness and health for rich or for poor until death do you part?" You smiled and said, "I do." Then the pastor asked Y/c/n, "And do you, Y/c/f/n take Y/f/n to be your lawfully wedded wife, to have and to hold in sickness and health for rich or for poor until death do you part?" Y/c/n looked deeply into your eyes and said, "I do." Then the pastor said, "If anyone objects to this marriage speak now or forever hold your peace." No one objected. Then the pastor said, "Then by the power invested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride." Then Y/c/n leaned in and gently and passionately kissed you. Then the pastor said to everyone, "It is my pleasure to introduce to you for the first time Mr. and Mrs. Y/c/l/n." Then you and Y/c/n raced down the aisle so happy that you were finally married. When you got to the reception, you said, "Wow! There's pastel rainbow everywhere. I love it. It's so pretty and it's perfect for Easter.

Then you walk a little bit closer and see the centerpieces. They're so cute. They look like little Easter baskets filled with tons of flowers and a few Easter eggs are hidden in them.

A little bit after you ate, you and your new husband cut the cake which was your favorite flavor.

The cake was beautiful it had pastel rainbow flowers all around it. Although the bunny cake topper was yours and Y/c/n's favorite part of it. After y'all cut the cake you picked up a piece of it and fed it to your husband, then he picked up a piece of it and fed it to you. You both loved it and said it was delicious. After the reception, your parents surprised y'all with a special Easter egg hunt. Everyone participated in it and you and Y/c/n teamed up. After about 20 minutes all but 1 of the Easter eggs was found. Only you and Y/c/n were allowed to look for it. Then a few minutes later, y'all found it. It was different from the rest of the eggs. That special egg was a plastic one, but all the other eggs were real. Y'all opened it and a small piece of pastel yellow paper fell out onto the ground. Y/c/n bent down to pick it up, stood up, and began to read it. It read, "Hey kids, we had one last surprise for y'all. We paid for y'all's honeymoon. Y'all will be staying at y/f/p. Love y'all! Signed, y'all's parents." You gasped, "Wow!" Then y'all walked over to y'all's parents, gave all of them a hug, and said, "Thank y'all so much." They replied, "Y'all are so welcome. It was our pleasure." Then Y/c/n took you by your hand and y'all both got in Y/c/n's car that had just married written on the back of it and pastel rainbow streamers and cans hanging off the bumper. Y'all waved goodbye and hollered out the window, "Bye! Love y'all!" Then they waved goodbye and hollered back, "Bye! Love y'all too!" Then Y/c/n put his hand on yours and asked, "Are you ready?" You replied, "Yes. I love you!" Y/c/n replied, "I love you too!" Then y'all drove away.
