The break-up affected Daniel for a while. But a few weeks later he was happy for the two of you and he and Seongwu were like brothers again like nothing happened. Daniel was comfortable again with Miki and saw her like a little sister now. 

When the school year was finished, Seongwu and Daniel graduated and visit a nearby college, so they would still be close to Miki. 

Two years later, Miki followed Seongwu to college, where they moved in together. 

Miki was twisted in her feelings if she could trust Seongwu alone on college, but Daniel watched after him, but he didn't seem to have the slightest interest in another girl than her. 

And so ends the story of crush at the first sign.
