I was a bit lazy to wake up today. Yeah, normally.

I woke up by 7:15 after I kept on snoozing and snoozing my poor alarm.

Well, I finished dressing by 7:40 and at least, I was done on time.

My dad wasn't yet out and I needed the letter. Did he sign it?? I hope he did. No, I hope he didn't.

Yes I might be confident and all those stuffs but one thing that can lead me to a hospital bed is a Competition.

Have I gone for competitions before? Yes. But I was younger that time and I definitely fell sick after so now that I'm grown, don't you think I'll end up on a hospital bed or probably...

My thoughts were cut shut by the opening of my parents door.

"Oh, good morning Dad" I greeted with a big smile.

He looked at me weirdly.

"That's such a big smile. How're you?"he asked.

"I'm fine. Daddy, I'm ready for school" I said and put my mouth in a thin line.

I definitely have to be a good girl right now.

"Ok, let me wear a shirt" he said and turned to go inside.

"Uh, daddy-" I called.

He turned and faced me which made my brain go on a merry go round to know what I wanted to say next.

"The letter" I let out.

"Letter?- oh, oh, oh. Yes, the letter. I'll get it. Thank you for remembering" he said and walked in while I nodded with a smile.

"Jasi! Jasiel!" I heard my name from that little wizard called my cousin.

I rolled my eyes and went to where I heard his voice from.

"What???" I asked/shouted.

"Come and take your lunch!" He shouted.

He was in the kitchen putting water in his water bottle.

"Jayden, you don't have sister or respect in that your little mouth abi?" I asked angrily.

"Sorry o, madam respect" he said.

My mouth was left open. "Jay, what did you say?" I asked taking threatening steps towards him.

"I said-" he turned and looked at my face which kept his mouth mute.

"Jasi, what are you doing?" He asked with fear in his tone.

"Say what you said again" I replied.
I know I cannot do anything. The highest I can do is take out a spoon from the basket and threaten to hit his head. Which I know I wouldn't dare do.

"I didn't say anything. I will shout o! I will shout o! Mu-" I closed his mouth.

"Don't shout, don't!" I said and he nodded in agreement.

"Jay, don't shout" I warned again and he nodded.

I slowly releases my hands from his mouth and he was quiet.

He put his bottle in his lunch box and then I was sure that he'll keep shut.

Phew! It was so easy to-

"Mummy!! Mummy!!"

"Jay!!!!!!!!!!!!" I shouted while he ran to my mum.

This boy is a lot to handle.

I carried my lunch box, put water in my bottle and then took it to the dining.

I don't think I'll eat breakfast today.

Dad finally came out.

Dad finally came out, had his water therapy which he does every morning.

I greeted mum bye and then we entered the car. Jay dropped at his school.

"Bye" he waved.

"Whatever" I rolled my eyes and then we drive to my school.

"Ok daddy, bye" I said and began to put my bag on my back and dropped.

I looked at dad through the passenger window.

"This is the letter." Dad said and handed it to me.

"Take care" he said and drove off.

Wait, that's not how daddy speaks to me on a norms.

Hey God! I really, badly want to check this letter. Should I?

But wait, was I not the one that said I don't want to go for any competition, so why is my heart racing so fast??

"Kirten!" He shouted and I hissed.

"Hey baby. Good morning" I said and released her from the hug.

"Morning my love. How was your night?" She asked.

"It was just there" I replied.

"I had a dream..." Annie said and we went to sit at our corner to gist.

"Tell me! Is it about me?" I asked with a light blush and fanned myself with my hands.

"In that dream, you were getting married to..." She said.

Me? Married? Me that has never had a guy in my life. I'm not even thinking of marriage until  5 years from now, it's now me that she's seeing getting married. Ok..

"Who? Timini Egbuson?" I asked.

My obsession for Timini the actor is on another level. He's way too cute to resist.

She hissed.

"Abeg. Before you think if settling down, that one already has grand children" Jassy said.
