As Caroline skipped around happily on the bottom floor, she bumped into Lexa, who was on her way to the kitchen. "Lexa!!" Caroline chimed, before taking her best friends hands and dancing around happily.

"Damn Care, you're awfully chipper." Lexa admitted, smiling at the Forbes. "I managed to trick Katherine- I'm just so happy I pulled it off." She admitted, as Lexa's face lit up with excitement.

"Hey um.." Caroline piped up, looking into Alexia's eyes. "Do you want to dance now?" She asked, with a wide smile. Seeing her best friend so happy, Lexa smiled brightly, "Of course."

The pair then walked onto the dance floor,  and began to dance together. They chatted quietly as they danced, before Caroline twirled Lexa around. Once they faced eachother again, Caroline's blue eyes were gazing into Lexa's brown ones, dreamily. "What?" Lexa asked, before laughing. "It's just.. you're so beautiful." Caroline blurted.

Lexa wasn't surprised by the compliment, but the tone Caroline had used in her voice, and the look she was giving her. The blonde was practically giving her heart eyes. She smiled lovingly at her best friend, not realising that the Forbes found herself inching closer to the siphoner. Their faces were now inches apart.

"Lexa!!"

The Gilbert was practically ripped out of Caroline's arms, as she faced Jeremy. "We need your help- It's Elena!" He panicked. Lexa's face fell, "What happened?! Where is she!?"

Moments later Lexa rushed outside, finding Elena and Bonnie. Elena was crying out in pain, as Bonnie held her. "What's happening!?" Alexia demanded as Bonnie turned to her, with tear filled eyes. "A witch has linked Elena to Katherine.. everytime they hurt her, they're hurting Elena too! I- I don't know what to do!" The witch explained.

The brunette bit her lip, before having an idea. "Maybe I can siphon the spell." She blurted. "Huh?" Bonnie asked. "I mean I haven't siphoned a spell that large before.. but I need to try. Lena, come here."

Elena let go of Bonnie, and Lexa instead embraced her. Her arms glowed, as Alexia began trying to siphon the spell out of her sister. She felt magic flow through her veins, as  the spell slowly released on Elena.

New injuries stopped forming on the doppelgänger, making it clear that it worked. Lexa then helped to sit Elena down, as Bonnie then sat beside her. The siphoner turned around to leave, as Bonnie frowned. "Lexa? Where are you going?"

Lexa turned around, "To attack Katherine and also to scare the absolute shit out of Damon." She declared before racing into the mansion.

Now upstairs, Lexa stood in the doorway, Katherine giving her a confused look. "Why if it isn't little Lexie? You look like you're in better shape than the last time I saw you." The Petrova grinned. "I sure am, and I'm gonna kick your ass you manipulative, spiteful bitch." Lexa hissed. Stefan and Damon's eyes widened when they realised she meant business.

Quickly, Lexa gave Stefan a knowing look, mouthing the word, "Relax." Before she turned to Katherine.

Suddenly, a heap of stakes floated from off of the ground, the pointy ends of them facing Katherine. "Motus." Lexa said aloud, flicking her wrist as all of the stakes flew towards Katherine, stabbing into her body. Katherine fell back into the wall, shocked by this.

Damon's face went white, before he turned to the Gilbert. "Lexa- what the fuck!?" He blurted as she then grinned, "I unlinked Elena from Katherine." Lexa said, before she held her hand out, hoping to siphon the barrier spell, but it was no longer in place. "What the fuck?" Alexia blurted.

Suddenly, the witch that had been helping Katherine, entered the room, walking over to the Petrova who was still weakly holding herself up. The witch handed Katherine the moonstone before glaring her down, "When I hand this over, my debt to you is over. I owe you nothing."

Katherine clutched the moonstone in her hand, before she collapsed to the ground, completely weakened by Lexa's attack. The witch then left, leaving the Salvatore brothers and Lexa, with the Petrova.

"I'll leave you guys to it then. I have a girlfriend to supply snacks for." She announced before leaving to go downstairs.

Lexa rushed upstairs, a variety of snacks in her arms. She entered Sienna's room and dropped them all onto the bed, "Ta-da!" She gleamed before collapsing into the bed, beside her girlfriend. "Thanks doll." Sienna grinned before taking a packet of crisps.

"What took you so long?" She asked. "Well first thing that happened is Caroline asked me to dance.. I mean technically I asked her but-"

"Do you love her?"

Lexa frowned, "What?" She asked. "Do you love Caroline?" Sienna asked. She wasn't usually jealous of their friendship, she trusted Lexa completely.. but in her intoxicated state, she was curious and perhaps jealous .. especially since she knew of Lexa's past feelings for Caroline, and Caroline's current feelings for Lexa.

Truthfully, Lexa didn't know what her feelings were for Caroline anymore. She once knew she was falling hard for the Forbes, but then she suddenly developed feelings for Sienna. She couldn't deny ever since Natasha put that dream inside her head, she felt like her buried feelings for her best friend had resurfaced and she was possibly a bit confused.

Lexa then looked up at Sienna, into her bright hazel eyes, and just decided to say what she thought was the truth. "Of course I love Caroline, but I'm not in love with her. She's my best friend.." She said before giving her love a small smile, "You're the one that I love." Sienna smiled lovingly at her girlfriend.

"Anyway.. then what happened next was-" Alexia rambled on, explaining how the nights events unfolded.

Sienna stood up suddenly, looking worried. "You okay?" Lexa asked. Sienna shook her head, "Something's wrong with Tyler." She answered, before quickly dashing out of her room. The Gilbert followed soon after.

They entered Richard's office, finding Caroline, Tyler and Aimee.. Aimee laid on the floor, dead. "Ty?" Sienna asked, as the Lockwood boy turned around, his eyes flashing a colour of gold.

Sienna felt her heart sink now, as her eyes widened "Oh fuck-"

Katherine suddenly woke up in the tomb. She saw the moonstone on the floor, next to her and took it. The Petrova then got up and tried to leave the tomb, but found herself trapped. Her eyes widen.

Suddenly, Damon and Natasha stepped into view. "Hello, sister." Natasha waved, as she had been the one to set the barrier spell. "Hello Katherine." Damon greeted her.

"Where am I?" Katherine snapped as Damon shrugged, "Where you should have been all along. I thought you'd have learned your lesson by now, messing with a Bennett witch." He said. "You should have killed me." Katherine replied to which Natasha shrugged, "Death would have been too kind, kitty kat." Before she grinned, "Karma's a bitch, huh?"

The pair them go to close the tomb door before Katherine yelled out, "No, Tasha, Damon, don't. Natasha! Damon! You need me, Elena's in danger!" She protested as the best friends gave her a puzzled look, "From who?" They asked in unison.

Katherine doesn't answer.

Natasha scoffed, "You're lying, you're always lying." She said before Katherine asked, "Why do you think I haven't killed her? Because she's the doppelgänger. She needs to be protected!" Damon shrugged, "Then I'll protect her, while you rot in hell."

With that, the pair close the door on Katherine. But what they didn't know is that Katherine was right, and Elena was kidnapped that very night.
