062. if you're happy, than i'm happy
Caroline stood in the living room, as the Salvatore brothers looked at her, waiting for her to continue telling them about her most recent encounter with Katherine. "She told me to tell you both that she wants the moonstone or she will rip this town apart until it rains blood. Tonight, at the masquerade ball." The blonde said.
Stefan sighed, "She wants to do it in public. Killing Mason threw her off guard." He said "She's running scared. What she did to Jenna was desperate. She's out of tricks." Damon admitted. "We can't underestimate her. We have to play this smarter than her."
Caroline crossed her arms before she asked, "Can we just give her the moonstone so she'll leave?" Damon shook his head, "No, Katherine's not getting dick." He huffed. "I've had it. I'm gonna go to the masquerade ball and I'm gonna kill her, tonight." The older Salvatore declared.
Stefan snorted in amusement, "You're not gonna kill her." Damon looked offended to even hear that, "Don't give me that goody-goody crap." He replied. "You're not gonna kill her." Stefan repeated. "Really?" Stefan nodded, before saying "Because I am."

Jeremy, Matt, Elena and Lexa entered the home, as Matt and Lexa helped lead the Sommers to the couch. "Easy. Grab the door Jer." Matt said as Jenna sighed, "Hey, stop fussing, I'm fine."
"Yeah but the doctors said that you have to take it easy." Lexa insisted, sitting beside her Aunt on the lounge. "Yeah, you don't want to rip your stitches, hemorrhage and die, alright?" Jeremy declared as Jenna replied with "Yeah, the only thing I'm gonna die from is embarrassment."
"No."
Jenna deadpanned Matt, who'd just spoken. "I walked into a knife. How does somebody do that?" She asked. Elena answered, "It was a freak accident." To which Jeremy added "It happens."
Matt chimed in now, "Yeah, I mean I've done it like twenty times at the Grill." He said, causing Jenna to laugh, but then wince in pain. Lexa put her arm around her Aunt, comfortingly. "Oh, Jenna."
Matt and Alexia stayed by the Sommers girl's side, whilst Elena and Jeremy went into the kitchen. Lexa looked at her phone, at all of the messages she had sent Sienna, and the lack of replies she had received.
"How is Sienna? Since Mason left town." Jenna suddenly asked. Lexa's shoulders slumped, "I wouldn't know.. but I'm going to take it that she isn't going very well by the lack of responses I'm getting." The siphoner blurted, before feeling instantly regretful of her words. She understood that Sienna would want to be alone right now, and not be bothered by anyone.. but the Gilbert couldn't help but to worry.
The werewolf probably felt so alone at the moment, as she was the only one of her family members to know the truth about Mason.. that he hadn't left town, Damon had killed him.

Caroline opened the front door, seeing Bonnie standing there, holding a grimoire in her arms. "Hey, come on in." The vampire smiled as Bonnie replied with, "I got Stefan's message." As Bonnie entered the house, Stefan smiled. "Hey, you brought the grimoire, thank you."
The witch looked around, seeing Damon and Alaric talking, but then she noticed that there was a lot a weaponry laying on the table. "What's going on?" She asked.
"We're gonna kill Katherine." A voice piped up, as the Bennett spun around to see Jeremy. Bonnie then looked to Stefan, confused. "I can explain." The Salvatore said. "Please."
"We're gonna kill Katherine." Stefan shrugged, only really reiterating it. Jeremy checked his phone, seeing a message. "Hey guys.. I'll be back in ten minutes." He said, quickly leaving before anybody could ask any questions.

Jeremy looked around cautiously before knocking on the door. Quickly, Sienna opened it. "Hey." Jeremy greeted her. "Hey little Gilbert." Sienna responded.
The Gilbert reached into his bag, pulling out a small zip locked back, with a few joints inside. "Look.. I don't deal anymore so you can't tell anyone.. especially not my sisters.. also they would not be pleased with you." Jeremy ordered.
Sienna shrugged, "Yeah well, I've seen Lexa smoke a joint. She can't be too mad." She admitted. "Yeah because she was miserable and grieving.. she doesn't do it much at all." The Gilbert defended his sister. "And that is exactly what I am doing." Sienna replied.
The blonde haired girl handed Jeremy some money, as he handed her the ziplock bag. He also handed her back a couple of notes, to which she looked confused. "Family discount. You're pretty much apart of it now." He shrugged, causing her to smile, for at least a moment.
"How are you doing?" Jeremy then asked, hesitantly. Sienna sighed, "I'm the only one in my family that knows my Dad is dead. I am miserable and I feel so alone." She explained, before seeming embarrassed, and that she had overshared. "You're not alone. Lexa and I... we know what it's like to lose a parent-"
"The circumstances are different!" Sienna snapped, cutting him off. Seeming taken back by her tone, Sienna sighed. "I'm sorry I didn't mean to get angry I just.. I am a mess right now. I'm sorry Jer." The Lockwood apologised. Jeremy nodded, "Don't sweat it. Keep in touch, okay? My sister is worried about you."

Lexa zipped up Caroline's dress, before the blonde spun around. "Aw- you look so beautiful, Care!" The Gilbert blurted, as Caroline gave a sheepish smile. "Why thank you my love." The blonde grinned, not realising that she was holding onto Lexa's hands now.
"So are you coming to the masquerade ball tonight?" Caroline asked, as she applied lipstick. Alexia shrugged, "I'm gonna go to the Lockwoods but I don't know if I'm going to dress up or anything. I think I'm just gonna check on Sienna." Lexa admitted.
Caroline gasped before she blurted, "Since when does Lexa Gilbert turn down an event involving getting all dressed up? This is insane." She said, over dramatically. Lexa just laughed, "I know.. weird right?"
The pair laughed, before Caroline felt her heart flutter. She didn't want to talk to Lexa about her feelings, she was scared of hurting her... but the urge to confess or at least discuss, was driving her crazy.
She inhaled, before exhaling deeply. "Hey Lex..." She spoke softly, yet had a slight tone of seriousness in her voice. Lexa looked up to her best friend, "Yeah Care?" She answered.
Caroline opened her mouth to speak, but then closed it. She didn't know how to word what she was thinking.. and suddenly she feared that this could potentially ruin their friendship forever.
So Caroline decided to take a different approach.
"How are things with you and Sienna?" She asked. Lexa blinked, expecting the question to be more serious. "Things are good.. I mean she's been quiet over the past couple of days but Damon did just kill her Dad so..." Lexa trailed off, angry undertones in her voice.
"But um... Care..." Lexa began, as the blonde looked to her best friend, intently. "I'm like.. head over heels for Sienna.. I'm so in love with her-" She blurted. "I haven't felt this happy in.. a really long time." Lexa added.
Caroline smiled sadly, feeling her heart sting. Realising that there was no chance for her, she decided not to tell Lexa about her feelings. The Forbes did feel jealous, but she also was happy for Lexa. Happy was a good look on her, and it was clear that she hadn't been happy for quite a while.
Caroline stepped forward to embrace the Gilbert. Lexa was surprised, but then hugged back. "I'm really happy for you Lexa." She assured her, which caused Lexa to smile.
