Everyone knew about the infamous Salvatore siblings; Damon and Stefan, but they have a sister that isn't always talked about.

Brooklyn Salvatore, more commonly referred to as Brooke, is the middle child out of the Salvatore siblings and she's usually the peacekeeper out of the trio. She's quite introverted and observant, but fiercely loyal and witty.

Currently the blonde and her girlfriend, Lexi Branson were on their way to Mystic Falls. Brooke had made sure that her car had specific glass to keep out the UV rays, so her lover wouldn't literally burn to death.

"I can't wait to see the look on his face." Lexi laughed, thinking about her best friend they were about to surprise. "Same, he's gonna be so shocked." Brooke giggled, before they pulled up at a gas station.

"I'm gonna fuel up and grab a coffee, do you want anything babe?" Brooke asked, her eyes fixed on the Branson. Lexi shook her head, before she leant forward and placed a quick kiss on the Salvatore's lips. "Just for you to come back to me quickly. I can't function without you." Lexi whined, dramatically as she knew it would pester her girlfriend.

Brooke rolled her eyes playfully before she smiled smugly. "Get a daylight ring, and we'll never have to be apart." She said with a wink, before she closed the door and went to put fuel in her vehicle. Lexi laughed to herself, watching as her girlfriend walked by, as she looked at her lovingly.

Lexi Branson and Brooke Salvatore had been together for about 87 years now, and it seemed like they had a love that people spend their lives finding.

The Branson had never expected her soulmate to be a woman, let alone a Salvatore— specially her best friends older sister, but she absolutely loved Brooke, and there wasn't anything she wouldn't do for her.

But what the lovers didn't know, is that their beautiful love story would soon come to an end.

Months had passed since Lexa had been admitted into rehab. She had this mindset that she was going to stay clean and move on with her life, though truthfully she didn't know where it had come from.

Of course, she'd had these thoughts of wanting to stay clean, and had tried, but it almost felt like she was compelled to stay clean now.

What she didn't know, is her frenemy had dived into her mind and done a bit of magical juju to change her thoughts and memories.

Currently, the Gilbert sat cross legged on her bed, with a pink crystal in her hand. Giorgia and Carmen had visited recently, and Gigi gave her a pink crystal device, that they could communicate through.

Giorgia appeared now, sitting cross legged in front of her best friend, in a holographic form. Lexa's face lit up, upon seeing the girl.

"Hey beautiful." Lexa greeted, as Giorgia's lips curved into a smile. "Hi baby. How are you?" She asked, giving the siphon her full attention.

"I'm... surprisingly good. Actually, I feel like I have a clear head for the first time in god.. a year." Lexa confessed, as Giorgia smiled. "I'm so proud of you, you know that?" She asked.

Lexa smiled back, looking away for a moment as she seemed briefly overwhelmed by her best friends words, before she glanced back at the brunette. "Thank you, Gigi. I love you."

"I love you more." Giorgia winked as Lexa rolled her eyes playfully, "Okay but that is literally impossible." She teased as the Garcia giggled.

"How have you been?" The Gilbert then asked. "I've been really good. Carmen and I are going strong. I actually met her family, they're so sweet." Giorgia admitted.

"Aw, that's adorable." Lexa insisted, "When will Carmen meet your family?" She then asked.

Giorgia shrugged, "I uh... don't know. My family uh... don't know that I'm a lesbian." She admitted, as there was a hesitance in her tone. "When Carmen came out to her family as lesbian, they were really incredible... but my family is a little old fashioned. They always talk about wanting me to marry a man." The Garcia explained, seeming a little disgusted by the last sentence.

"What was it like when you came out to your family?" Giorgia then asked. "Well..." Lexa thought back to her past and realised that she never really had to come out. "I think my family always knew.... Because honestly I never had to come out to them as bisexual." She confessed. "That is lucky." Gigi admitted, wishing that was her case.

"Hey I gotta go to class, but I'll speak to you later." Gigi then said, "Love you, boo." Lexa smiled back, "Love you too, Gi."

Night had fallen, as Brooke's car pulled up to her former home. Lexi gave the Salvatore a smile, before the car was put in park.

"Shall we surprise him?" Lexi asked, as Brooke raised an eyebrow. "What do you mean? This is already a surprise." She replied, not catching on with what her girlfriend was implying.

Moments later, the two blondes snuck into the house, as they noticed Stefan was fast asleep in the living room.

Brooke smiled at her younger brother, seeing him asleep so peacefully, before she gave the Branson a look. Lexi gave a nod, indicating that they should enact their grand entrance, so with that the pair began speeding around the room.

Hearing a noise, Stefan sat up. "Damon?" He asked, hearing further disturbance in the house.

Suddenly, a body launched at him, throwing him to the floor.

"Lexi?" Stefan asked, as Lexi retracted her fangs. "Hi." She said, with an innocent smile.

Lexi then sat up, as a strong force took Stefan, before dropping him on the couch. The Salvatore looked confused before he saw the blur that grabbed him, stood beside Lexi with a smug smile, as it was Brooke.

"Hello, brother." Brooke said, with a mischievous smile. "Brooke!" Stefan blurted, getting to his feet as he went to hug his sister. "What are you doing here?"

"How could you even ask us that?" Lexi asked, as Stefan and Brooke broke apart as Stefan now hugged Lexi.

"I missed you both so much." Stefan admitted before he and Lexi jumped in fright, as Brooke opened a party popper, which made a loud sound as it dispersed of confetti. "Happy Birthday!" Brooklyn cheered, as Stefan's expression changed into a grateful smile.

Moments later, Stefan and Lexi sat in Stefan's room. Lexi soon joined them, with a glass of bourbon in her hand

"Stop. I don't know, some freak shot at me with wooden bullets. I bail in under sixty. And why is a news reporter hunting vampires?" Lexi asked, as Stefan shrugged, "I don't know who knows about us. That guy did. There could be others. Do me a favor, while you're here, please be careful."

"Why stay? We're headed to New York for the weekend. Bon Jovi in the Garden." Lexi spoke up before Brooke's lip curved into a small smile. "You should come." She said to her younger brother.

"Wanted dead or alive, it's our theme song. It'll be a blast." Lexi reminded Stefan, as she nudged him. "Do you think he would actually remember us? That was a pretty crazy weekend huh?" Stefan chuckled before Brooke replied, "We can make him remember us."

"Come on! Let's go. I mean, what's keeping you here?" Lexi asked. Brooke smirked, "Elena?" She asked, as Stefan had told her about Elena when they last spoke over the phone.

"Let's hope she's better than the last girl you got all sprung over." Lexi insisted, as she held up a photo of Katherine. Stefan took the photo from the Branson, "You didn't even know Katherine."

"Consider yourself lucky." Brooke admitted, placing a kiss on Lexi's forehead before she took a seat beside her girlfriend. "Cause if I did I'd kick her ass. Little bitch." Lexi huffed to her girlfriend before she asked, "Speaking of...where's Damon?"

"Inflicting misery somewhere. You guys gonna be okay here for a bit? Cause I got some things I gotta take care of." Stefan asked before Lexi shrugged, "It's not exactly like I can go anywhere. And you, Brooke and Damon are the only ones with these nifty little daylight rings. I have a mood ring from '75! Trade ya?"

Stefan chuckled, "Doesn't work that way and you know it." He responded. "Yeah."

"So, what are we doing for your birthday? It's not everyday a guy turns a hundred and sixty-two years old." Brooke teased as Stefan eyed his sister knowingly before he groaned, "Really?"

"Oh yeah." Lexi grinned, wanting to throw her best friend a party.

Bonnie had a large smile on her face, as she saw Lexa for the first time in weeks. "Bon!!" Lexa called out excitedly, as she dropped her duffel bag and sprinted towards her best friend.

Bonnie giggled, as she opened her arms and hugged Lexa as ran into them. The pair span around, in a fit of giggles as they held eachother.

"You look so healthy and happy! How are you?" Bonnie managed to say, pulling away from Lexa as she took in her appearance.

"I'm really good Bonnie, really good." Lexa confessed, before she let go of the Bennett so she could grab her bag.

"Everyone is going to be so excited to see you— Lex, you look so much better." Bonnie admitted, as it was true. Lexa physically looked healthy, and it was clear that she hadn't touched drugs.

"Thank you, Bonbon. Honestly, I feel so much better. I can't wait to go home and see everybody." The Gilbert confessed, as Bonnie linked her atm through the siphon's, before they walked to the Bennett's car.

"Ooh, I have something to show you, Lex!" Bonnie then said, as Lexa faced Bonnie. "Okay." She replied, as they got into the car.

The Bennett made sure that the doors and windows to the car were closed, before she grabbed one of Lexa's pillows that she'd taken into rehab. She ripped it and emptied it of the feathers. "Hey!" Lexa huffed. "Be patient." Bonnie quickly said with a grin grin.

"I need to swear you to secrecy." Bonnie said, eyeing Lexa. "Bon bon, you of all people should know, I won't tell anyone, anything." The twin eyed her.

"Alright. There's no windows open, right?"

"Right."

"There's no fan. No air conditioning."

"None. What are you doing?"

"Grams just showed me this. You're gonna love it. You ready?" Bonnie asked, with a grin. "I was born ready, Bon." Lexa joked.

Bonnie then levitated a feather in front of Lexa, before she levitated several more, flying them around the room. The Gilbert's eyes widened as she watches on with shock and amazement.

"So.. It's true Lexa.. Everything my Grams told me. I'm a witch! Bonnie exclaimed. Lexa smiled brightly, "Bonnie that's awesome!" She insisted, before offering her best friend a slight grin, "Welcome to the club." She said teasingly.

"I have some really cool tricks to show you." Lexa grinned, nudging Bonnie who giggled in response before starting the car.

After having a shower, Brooke and Lexi were wrapped in towels as they began to get ready in Brooke's old bedroom.

"I have no idea what to wear.." Brooke grumbled, as she opened her suitcase. "Honestly, I think you should wear nothing at all." Lexi grinned, as Brooke shot her a knowing smirk.

"As you wish." Brooke joked, closing her bedroom door before she dropped her towel. Lexi laughed, looking Brooke up and down before she sped towards her, with her vampire speed.

Now, Lexi stood in Brooke's face, her towel also on the floor. She cradled Brooklyn's face in her hands, and gazed into her blue eyes.

Brooke laughed nervously at how quickly her girlfriend appeared in her face, before she leant her forehead against Lexi's, affectionately.

Lexi closed her eyes, before she kissed Brooke gently, as the Salvatore kissed back more passionately.

There was a loud knock at the door, which the vampires heard with their super hearing, which caused them to break apart. "Are we seriously getting cock-blocked in the 21st century..." Brooke grumbled, as Lexi laughed in response.

Hearing the shower still running across the house, the pair wrapped themselves back in their towels, before speeding to the front door, as they raced eachother childishly.

Brooke shot Lexi a smirk, as she'd reached the door first. Lexi just stuck her tongue out at Brooke in response. With that, Brooke opened the door, Lexi standing behind her.

The girls both froze in shock, as the Gilbert twins stood before them and they looked exactly like Katherine and Natasha Pierce.

"Oh my God!" Lexi blurted, as Brooke bit her lip before she stammered, "How...uh- wh-...Who?" The blonde blurted. "I'm Alexia. This is Elena. Annnd who are you guys?" Lexa asked, crossing her arms.

"I'm Lexi, a friend of Stefan's." Lexi replied. "I'm Brooke." Brooke waved awkwardly, feeling uncomfortable by how the pair looked exactly like the Pierce twins.

"Is he here?" Elena asked. "He's in the shower. Do you want to wait?" Lexi asked, Lexa blinked in surprise by that statement, assuming that Stefan was on the rebound with these girls. "No." Elena decided, thinking the same as her twin.

"Alright, I'll tell him you ladies stopped by." Lexi smiled, as the twins left, closing the door behind them. "Make sure to tell him I'm back—" Lexa managed to say, before the door was closed. She frowned, before turning on her heels to leave with Elena.

The smile faded from Brooke and Lexi's faces, instead turning into frowns. They both turned on her heels and races to Stefan's room, seeming furious. "Are you out of your freaking mind?" Lexi yelled.

"What about Elena's sister? Is she like Katherine?" Lexi asked, eyeing Stefan. "Lexa? Well she is feisty like Katherine.. but that's... really the only alike thing they have. Unlike Katherine.. Alexia.. she has a big heart, she's caring and protective of those she loves.. she would do anything for Elena, but she... kind of went down a dark path." Stefan explained to Brooke and Lexi, who were now dressed for the party as they sat on Stefan's bed.

"I.. uh.. was drawn in by her resemblance of Katherine too, but I soon learnt where I stand with her. We're just friends." Stefan admitted.

"My feelings towards the pair are very different.. I am so in love with Elena, but Lexa.. she feels like she could be my best friend, strictly platonic. Her friendship means a lot to me." Stefan explained, as Brooke nodded.

Lexi shot Stefan a look, "This Lexa girl better not be replacing me, already seems like she's partially stealing my name." Lexi teased. Brooke laughed, before placing her hand on Lexi. Stefan chuckled, "Trust me Lexi, nobody can replace you."
