010. lexa has an epiphany
Lexa was walking towards her locker.. with Caroline on her mind. She wondered how her night went with the mystery man.. but then she also didn't want to act like she cared, because the Forbes ditched her for a boy.
She didn't understand why it hurt so much.. Caroline had done things like this in the past, and she had gotten over it, it'd been water under the bridge almost instantly. Why was this different?
Lexa closed her locker and jumped, when she saw Vicki standing there. She then let out a breath of relief, "Vicki, you scared me." The Gilbert laughed awkwardly. "Sorry Lexa." Vicki laughed, with a grin, though Alexia couldn't help but notice the orange haired girl quickly glance at her lips quickly, before remaking eye contact. Lexa pretended to ignore it.
"I scored 2 tickets to the Posers, Saturday night. They're playing at the Rat." Vicki finally spoke up, with a wide grin. "That's awesome Vick!" The Gilbert smiled, "You and Tyler have fun." She then insisted.
Vicki's smile fell, as she then frowned.. Lexa had been so hot and cold with her... she was getting such mixed signals. "Don't be like that. Come on. I want you to go." Vicki grinned, taking a step towards Lexa.
"You're not worried everyone's going to know you're hanging out with your ex after screwing her younger brother?" Lexa then asked. "Oh, wait...everyone already knows." She added, eyeing the girl before she crossed her arms.
"Yeah. But it's not like that anymore, Jeremy and I are just friends. You're the Gilbert I have my eye on." Vicki admitted, with a grin. "Vicki.." Lexa sighed, "Look. I'm really not interested." She declared, not wanting to spend anymore time with Vicki, not now that she'd done so well to move forward from her toxic behaviours she'd picked up after dating the Donovan and doing drugs together.
"I'll see you Saturday night, Gilbert." Vicki called out, cockily before she walked down the corridor. Lexa grumbled, "No you won't!" She called back out.

Matt and Sienna were throwing a football around as they walked. Whilst Sienna didn't play football for the school, she did enjoy casually throwing the ball around.
"Look...there's Elena and her new boy toy. Now, what are they doing? Oh, they're walking, walking, walking. Yep. Right into the sunset." Sienna said bluntly, before offering Matt a faux smile. "You're a bitch sometimes, Cece." Matt rolled his eyes, as Sienna just laughed in response.
Truthfully, Sienna loved to tease her best friend... but she was just trying to encourage Matt to try and get Elena back, in her own weird way. She'd seen how sad Matt had been since they broke up, she just wanted to see him happy again.
"Meanwhile Matty, you're just standing here looking like one of those little yard trolls." Sienna teased. "Do you mean... Gnomes?" Matt corrected her. "Yeah those things.. look you knew what I meant." Sienna admitted.
"What am I supposed to do, Cece? She made her choice." Matt insisted, as Sienna caught the ball. Her plain expression then changed to a grin, "Let her know she made the wrong one." Sienna insisted, before she turned to Stefan and Elena.
"What are you doing?" Matt quickly asked. "Cece don't! Sienna!!" Matt then said, realising she was going to throw the football at Stefan.
Sienna threw the ball at Stefan, who had his back toward her. He quickly and knowingly turned around, caught the ball, and threw it back to Sienna. Sienna and Matt both had their jaws dropped, in shocked.
"What the fuck?" Sienna blurted quietly, as Matt just gave her an unamused stare. Elena laughed, seeing their reaction.

"Hey Lexa!" Bonnie greeted, "Have you seen Caroline this morning?" She asked the siphon. Lexa's smile turned into a frown, "No I haven't. I think she might have gone home with a guy last night." Lexa admitted, though her tone of voice did show annoyance.
"Oh... I don't understand why she's missing classes but.. okay." Bonnie replied, looking at Lexa now, noticing something was troubling her.
"Hey Lex, is everything okay?" Bonnie asked. Lexa looked to Bonnie, realising she couldn't hide anything from her best friend. "Uh.. yeah I just.. can't stop thinking about.. Caroline." Lexa admitted, hesitant to admit this aloud. Bonnie then smirked slightly, causing Lexa to blush. "Elaborate."
"I feel different around her lately.. I get nervous about what to say around her and act around her.. almost like I have butterflies— and it makes no sense because we're best friends! I also just.. really crave her company and affection. Last night when she left me for this mystery guy.. I was pretty hurt." Lexa declared, as she came clean. Bonnie listened intently, before offering the brunette a sympathetic smile.
"What is that look for?" She asked, embarrassedly. "Lexa.. I'm gonna be completely honest with you." Bonnie began. Lexa raised an eyebrow, as if to say continue. "It sounds to me like you might have a crush on Caroline." Bonnie finally confessed.
Lexa blushed, "Me... have a crush on Caroline? Does that sound crazy to you?" She asked aloud. Bonnie shrugged, "After spending Summer with my Grams, I've heard crazier things." She responded before the witch pair both laughed.
Lexa then thought about how she felt around Caroline... everything she'd just explained to Bonnie, was the same thing she had experienced when she had started crushing on Vicki.
But... surely this would end differently. Caroline wouldn't pressure Lexa into doing drugs or such...
"Oh my god Bonnie Bennett— you're freaking right!" Lexa confessed, covering her mouth in shock, as she'd just had a lightbulb moment. "I do have a crush on Caroline." She finally confessed, quietly so only Bonnie could hear. Bonnie grinned, before she nudged Lexa, "I'm totally rooting for you two." She teased.
"I um... I have a phone call to make." Lexa quickly said. "Oh?" Bonnie asked, wondering who Lexa was going to talk to.
Lexa gave Bonnie a playful smile, "A certain witch has been rooting for me and Caroline for weeks now." She admitted, with a smirk. Bonnie laughed, "Is that so?" She asked.
Lexa nodded, laughing as she opened her phone, and opened up Giorgia's contact.

After deciding to rejoin the cheerleading team, Elena showed up to training. Bonnie and Lexa were stretching, but stopped to look up and see the other Gilbert. "Oh, my God! You're here!" Bonnie blurted, her expression changing into a smile.
"Yep. I can't be the sad twin forever." Elena admitted, as Lexa gave her a weak smile. "The only way to get things back to the way they were, are to do things that were. Oh, and you're coming to dinner tonight." Elena decided. "I am?" Bonnie asked.
"Mm-hmm. You, me, Lexa and Stefan. You have to give him a chance." Elena said, pleadingly. Lexa didn't say anything in response.. truthfully she didn't mind Stefan now that she felt like she could trust him.
"Tonight's no good. Have you seen Caroline? I texted her like a hundred times." Bonnie insisted, trying to talk about something else now. "Don't change the subject, Bonnie Bennett! You're going to be there." Elena declared.
"Cmon Bon-bon.. don't let me be a third wheel in my own house!" Lexa huffed dramatically, causing the pair to laugh at her antics. "Fine. I'll go." Bonnie decided. "Good." Elena and Lexa said in unison.
"Seriously, where is Caroline?" Bonnie then asked. "I don't know. It's not like her to miss cheer practice." Elena admitted. Lexa couldn't help but to agree.. sure she'd miss school for a boy, but cheer meant so much to her. "I'll try her mobile again." Bonnie decided.
"Hey ladies, enough chit chat, more stretching." Sienna huffed, looking to Bonnie and the Gilbert twins. "I don't remember you ever being in charge, Sienna." Lexa replied bluntly. Sienna frowned, "Sure Caroline is in charge but clearly she's not here right now.. so I'm in charge until her return."
Suddenly, a blue car drove into the school carpark, inside of it sitting Caroline and Damon. As the car comes to a stop, Caroline and Damon kiss, causing Bonnie and Elena to gasp in shock. Lexa just looked to Bonnie. "Told ya so, Bon." She said.
Sienna looked at Damon, a grin on her lips. "Who is that cutie?" She asked aloud, as the other cheerleaders looked over to the blue car to see who she was talking about. "Oh yeah.. that's the mystery guy from the grill." Lexa admitted, not looking impressed. "That's the one Caroline's been constantly talking about?" Bonnie asked, as the Gilbert reluctantly nodded.
"That's not a mystery guy. That's Damon Salvatore." Elena confessed, causing Lexa's eyes to widen at the name. "Damon?" She asked. "Salvatore, as in Stefan?!" Bonnie also asked. "I got the other brother. Hope you don't mind." Caroline said, as she passed the trio.
"He won't be yours for long, Care bear." Sienna said cockily, as she'd given Damon a dreamy smile before he began to drive away. Caroline shot Sienna a glare.
Meanwhile, Lexa felt rage flow through her, as she clenched her fists. "Damon attacked Vicki.. and now Caroline is into him?! Into this monster?!" She wondered, before she looked to Caroline.
"Sorry I'm late, girls. I, uh... was busy." Caroline said, before raised an eyebrow at Lexa, noticing the girl looked unhappily at her. The brunette just crossed her arms and turned away, walking off. Caroline then glared, "What is her problem?" She asked aloud.
"Lexa?" Bonnie asked, as the Gilbert left. "I'll go after her." Elena insisted, quickly leaving the group to go after her twin. "Great, because you haven't missed enough training." Caroline groaned, aimed at Elena.

After a dramatic ending to cheer practice, Allira followed after Sienna, as the girls were walking to the school car park. "Are you done giving me the silent treatment, Al?" Sienna asked, as she unlocked her car.
Truthfully, Allira had been giving Sienna the silent treatment for two whole days, and Sienna had no idea why.
"No I'm not." Allira crossed her arms. The shortest Lockwood was usually a ray of sunshine, but right now she seemed really angry with her cousin.
"Well. You just spoke so..." Sienna trailed off as Allira rolled her eyes. "What did you do?!" The girl then asked, as Sienna raised an eyebrow. "What are you talking about?" She asked, as she turned to face Allira.
"I haven't heard from Cassidy or Connor Callahan since school ended last year." Allira began, "As you know they are my best friends and I assumed I'd talk to them when school began... but instead I found out that they transferred!"
At the mention of Connor Callahan, Sienna felt a chill go down her spine. Her stomach flipped— and not in a good way... she wanted to throw up.
"This all started because you slept with Connor at the end of school party. Now he's gone, and so is Cassidy." Allira snapped, "Why did you do this to me? I've always been nice to you." She then complained, as Sienna shook her head in disgust.
Remembering the events of the end of year party was enough to make Sienna's skin crawl. She didn't know where Allira had gotten these assumptions, but that's all they were.
They were absolutely far from the truth.
"I did not sleep with Connor fucking Callahan!" Sienna suddenly snapped at the shorter brunette, "And why do you think it's my fault that they transferred?" She then asked, defensively as she crossed her arms.
Allira shook her head in frustration, as tears filled her eyes. "Because you had a crush on Connor, and you didn't like that he was giving me attention instead of you." She began. "So you had him transfer, because if you can't get what you want, nobody else can." The brunette growled.
Sienna seemed taken back by Allira's words, as tears filled her eyes. "You're walking home." The older Lockwood decided, getting into her car. "Fine! I'd rather walk home than have to have another conversation with you!" The younger Lockwood yelled back, before she stormed off.
With that, the Lockwood cousins parted ways for the night.
