005. the stellar coven

It had been a couple of months since Lexa had returned to Belgium. Her heart had ached, an indescribable amount of pain since her parents had died, and she couldn't deny that she was desperately wanting to go back home.

Of course, she'd left her family back in Mystic Falls when they needed her, and the guilt she felt amongst her heartache, was becoming a lot.

Since returning, she continued to go to NA, despite wanting so badly to take something. She wanted to get rid of the pain in her chest, that hadn't disappeared since she'd heard the new of her parents dying, but she had to stay strong. She wanted to change.

"Is it true that you are leaving?" A strong Mexican accent flooded the room, as Giorgia entered the dorm room, as Lexa was packing her suitcase.

Lexa nodded sadly at her roommate, whose face fell. "I'm going to miss you." Gigi said sadly, as Lexa's face fell. "I'm gonna miss you too, beautiful." She responded.

With that, they hugged, Gigi snuggling into Lexa as she didn't want to let her go. They'd become close— Giorgia always referred to Lexa as her best friend, and Lexa saw Giorgia as a sister.

The witches didn't know what they were going to do without eachother... but Lexa knew she needed to be home.

"How are Elena and Jeremy going?" Gigi then asked, as she reluctantly pulled away from the brunette siphon. Lexa's face fell, "They don't want to talk to me." She admitted, sadly. "But in their eyes, I left them with no explanation so... I don't blame them."

Giorgia took Lexa's hand in her own, as she intertwined their fingers. "They will understand one day, Lexa." She assured her before she asked, "Have you spoken to Jenna?" Lexa nodded, "Yeah. She's been keeping me updated on herself and my siblings." She explained.

"How about that cutie blonde you were video calling the other day?" Giorgia then asked, "Caroline was it? You spoke to her quite affectionately." She added, with a playful smirk.

Lexa blushed, as she rolled her eyes playfully. "I know what you are insinuating here, Miss Gigi. I do not have a crush on my best friend, Caroline." She declared as Giorgia just smugly smiled at Lexa, not believing this claim.

"Oh come on— You guys would be a totally hot power couple. You're smoking hot and so is she. Plus you literally both blush so many times when you video call eachother— I actually started keeping a tally." Giorgia rambled on as Lexa found herself blushing more.

"Caroline and I have become closer... we've always been best friends but I guess we drifted while I..." Lexa swallowed thickly, thinking about Vicki and her substance abuse. "While I was taking drugs..." The Gilbert reluctantly continued.

"But ever since I've been sober and have a clearer head, we've gotten a lot more close. She's been checking up on me everyday since I came back to Belgium." Lexa added, grateful for Caroline. Despite the time differences, they'd video called and messaged every single day.

"Okay well... it definitely sounds to me like you like her." Giorgia teased. "I mean, maybe it's time to move on from Victoria. Maybe the next chapter in your life is you and Ms Blonde bombshell." She added, encouragingly.

"Oh Gigi, the next chapter in my life is trying to resolve all of the drama I caused by leaving Mystic Falls." Lexa insisted, "And... continuing to stay sober." She added, with a weak smile.

The other brunette witch approached the calendar hung on her wall, before she pointed to a certain date. In red marker it read "Lexa has been clean for 100 days." with a love heart around it. "You've nearly been clean for 100 days! I'm so proud of you." The Garcia cheered, before she rushed forward and kissed Lexa's cheek harshly.

Lexa giggled, as Giorgia planted more harsh kisses on her forehead now. "You're doing so well, meu amor." Gigi chirped, now embracing the siphon, who was struggling to breathe in the Garcia's grip. "Gigi! I need to breathe—" Lexa chuckled.

There was a knock at the door, causing Lexa to stop giggling now, as Giorgia loosened her grip on the Gilbert. "Come in." The roommates called out in unison. The door opened, and in the doorway stood Carmen, Bronwyn and Isabella.

"Hi guys." Lexa smiled, as Carmen entered the room first. "Hi baby." Giorgia chirped, her eyes lighting up at the sight of the Anderson girl. Gigi then cupped Carmen's cheeks in her hands gently, and kissed her.

Carmen kissed back, before she reluctantly pulled away, keeping a loving gaze on Giorgia. "Hi Gigi." She said with a bright smile, as her cheeks were tinted pink.

Lexa had indeed set Giorgia and Carmen up, and after a few dates, the pair announced that they were girlfriends. On their most recent date, Giorgia took Carmen on a date in Paris, a picnic at an adorable, green park facing the Eiffel tower. That was where she'd asked the Anderson to be her girlfriend.

"Is it true, you're heading back to Mystic Falls?" Bella asked, as herself and Bronwyn entered the dormitory. Lexa gave them a nod. "I sure am. I'm flying back tomorrow." She replied.

Bella nodded, before she stepped forward and hugged the taller witch. Lexa seemed surprised by this, as the Perkins wasn't a very touchy person. The Gilbert hugged the purple haired girl back.

Once they broke apart, a teary eyed Bronwyn reached forward and hugged the siphon. Lexa seemed especially surprised by this, because despite their history of doing drugs and partying together when Lexa first arrived at the school, the pair were more like frenemies. Bronwyn and Lexa often butted heads, with their similar personalities and both of them especially being stubborn and hotheaded.

Bronwyn still felt guilty for Lexa becoming an addict, and blamed herself. The blonde wouldn't admit it, but she was really proud of Lexa for staying sober, despite how much pain the girl was in mentally and emotionally since losing her parents.

"I made you something, Lexa." Carmen began, pulling away from Giorgia as the Garcia had been embracing her. "Actually... it's for all of us." The Anderson added.

"Well, don't keep us waiting." Bronwyn demanded, as Lexa rolled her eyes at the Wilson's demands.

Carmen opened her handbag, before she took five small yellow drawstring bags from it. One for each of the witches in the dormitory currently.

The Anderson opened one of the small yellow bags, as she took a golden chain from it, holding a shiny purple stone.

"Those who wear this necklace, are able to feel one another, and know that the wearers are all safe." Carmen began to explain, "You can also alert the wearers when they're in danger, so it's kinda like a safety net." The Anderson rambled on, before she smiled at Lexa.

"This is for you." She said, as the ravenette gently handed the necklace to Lexa. The Gilbert smiled brightly, as she took it. The brunette placed the necklace around her neck, as she shot Carmen another smile. "It's so beautiful. Thanks Carmen."

Carmen smiled back before she added, "I want everyone to have one. Everyone within the Stellar coven."

"The Stellar coven?" Giorgia, Isabella, Bronwyn and Lexa all blurted in unison, as Carmen suddenly blushed with embarrassment. "I... I... thought that.... well we all hang out a lot and are technically a little coven." She began to ramble, embarrassedly. "And you guys are like, rays of sunshine so... I thought if we were ever to be a coven, the Stellar coven sounded very fitting."

Lexa's lip twitched up into a smile. The brunette then noticed that Bronwyn, Bella and Giorgia were all smiling also. "The Stellar coven... I like it." Isabella announced.

Alexia smiled brightly, her eyes watering as she wanted to cry, but these tears were tears of happiness and joy... something she hadn't felt for the past few weeks. Gigi noticed this, and smiled brightly before she called out, "Group hug!"

Lexa, Giorgia and Carmen all rushed together to hug one another, as Bella and Bronwyn seemed a little reluctant to join the group hug.

"Bella? Bron?" Carmen asked, as both girls tried to turn down the offer. "Oh come on, I'm leaving tomorrow!" Lexa said, pleading as the purple haired girl and blonde shared looks before they joined the group hug.

Lexa held onto the girls, feeling ever so grateful she'd met them. The Stellar Coven... I like that. Lexa thought, with a small smile.
