TO BE FAIR, THE HOPPER'S WERE A RATHER STRANGE BUNCH UPON FIRST GLANCE BUT IF YOU LOOK A LITTLE closer, cursed sounds more right when describing the eccentric family. First it was young Milo Hopper biting the dust at age four— ( and coming back from the dead, obviously ) then a couple years later sweet little sara finds herself in the arms of dead too. Soon a broken marriage follows and down the slippery slope Chief Hopper goes.

But not all is lost when throughout the unfortunate and just straight up terrible winter season with a possessed Will Byers some rather strange events lead to the return of Milo Hopper that sets the events spiraling into motion once more. But the Summer of 85' is no ordinary time either when a new (—old ) threat reappears to make their life a living hell. And young Milo Hopper, who is still not fully adjusted to a semi normal modern life, having a family nor having a good english vocabulary to his disposal is thrusted into yet another life endangering— upside down related war with the mind flayer. And with a new kid in town, who he for some reason can't get out of his head, it seems Milo Hopper got more problems than he can count

So what is set out to be the greatest (—and first ) Summer quickly becomes a heart breaking fight that leaves damage on both sides because the Upside Down can't take a fucking hint and leave Hawkins alone and it is up to a bunch of teenagers and two semi functional adults to save the day.

So yeah... their makeshift family is rather odd and strange and downright cursed but at least they have each other.
