DELANEY ROCKWELL HAD a crush on Rafe Cameron. It was an infatuation that bloomed ever since she was five years old, visiting her grandma over the summer, the very first time she met the Camerons, who were her grandma's neighbors. Her crush was obvious, with the way she would blush every time he entered a room she was in, to the way she would squeal to herself every time he would interact with her, earning a weird look from him. 

Over the years her reactions died down, deciding to play it cool instead of make a fool of herself, but it seemed every summer her feelings became stronger, though most likely it was because it was the season of swimsuits and Rafe made a habit of working out.

The last time she went to the Outer Banks for her grandmother was for her funeral. And at the somber reading of her will, it was made known that Delaney's mother would be inheriting the mansion that they always visited every summer, to which they soon began to move into, deciding a mansion to be better than an apartment. And upon the warm welcome given to them by the Camerons Delaney decided she would finally have the summer experience she'd always dreamed of, and her eyes were set on Rafe Cameron to fulfill it. That was until a blonde-boy knocked on her door asking if her family was in need of a lawnmower.

❛ THATS DELANEY, OTHERWISE known as the first girl that JJ Maybank has ever had a crush on instead of just wanting to have a quick hookup with. She's the newest Pogue in the group and used to be a Touron, as she, her brother, Ryder and mother, Lilah, would visit her grandmother every summer, before she turned into a Kook by officially moving to Figure Eight because her mother inherited her mother's estate in her will. We hadn't heard much about her, the little we had heard was from Kie as she would see her around when she used to go to the Rockwell mansion for one of the summer parties that Delaneys grandmother, Mrs Rockwell, would throw.

After hearing that she and her family would be moving to Outer Banks, JJ took it upon himself to find as much in formation on her as possible, and after finding her instagram under the clever username of laneydelrey, JJ decided for all of us that she was to become a Pogue, sarcastically saying she had enough experience as one in New York. And so, as he was already looking for a quick summer job to earn some money, he decided to start mowing lawns around Kildare, And a week after they moved in, the Rockwells were the first house he went to to advertise, which, luckily, Ms. Rockwell said yes to. 

After a few quick meetings, to which JJ always came back to us, giving us every little detail, we quickly noticed that he was developing a crush on the girl. As he was so determined on getting close to her by making her a Pogue, he had only just dug himself into a hole as we all had agreed upon the rule, no Pogue on Pogue macking, but we all should've known it wouldn't stop him. It was too bad that she has the hugest and most obvious crush on the biggest douche bag alive. ❜
