𝗣𝗢𝗚𝗨𝗘𝗦 & 𝗞𝗢𝗢𝗞𝗦 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗥𝗜𝗩𝗔𝗟𝗦 𝗢𝗙 𝗢𝗨𝗧𝗘𝗥 𝗕𝗔𝗡𝗞𝗦. For years, those in outer banks were either rich or poor. That's what formed the pogues and kooks debacle. The rich hated the poor and wanted them off what they would consider their island. Delilah Dumont didn't entirely agree with those statements, but as she was a kook herself, she didn't have much room to speak. For years, she had joined her friends, Juliana, Theo, Catalina, Oakley, Darius, Corbin, and Damon in pranking the pogues. Some of them even took part in bullying the poor. And although they weren't proud of it, they were only getting back at those who did them wrong.

For years, the pogues had done everything to try and get attention. They would purposely steal, pull pranks, get arrested, and just do stupid shit to try and get the attention the kooks had. Delilah wasn't sure why they did it, maybe it was a way of trying to feel important, she didn't know. All she did know was she wasn't fond of the pogues and never would be. Although a certain blonde could change that thought within seconds. If you asked Delilah's best friend, Juliana, she would tell you that Delilah had JJ Maybank wrapped around her finger, and no matter what, she could get him to do whatever she wanted.

"See that girl over there, the one JJ is staring at? That's Delilah Dumont, Kook Princess.

She's as Kook as they come; her parents are some famous actors, so I've heard, so she acts like she's the best person to ever exist. Although if you asked me, I would tell you that she was nothing more than a waste of my time and a waste of space. Delilah Dumont will act like this nice person and try to be your friend but the moment she gets what she wants from you, you get left.

A few people I know used to be friends with the girl and then out of no where they were no longer friends. Which makes me confused on why JJ likes her so much. Delilah seems to be the only person JJ has his eyes on and to say it didn't irritate me would be a lie. The two of them haven't talked in years and when they do, Delilah's parents rip her away from him. That alone shows what a disaster she is. I won't lie and say I don't find her gorgeous because I at one point had a crush on her. But for JJ to spend his time on her seems like a waste of time and something that will only end in people getting hurt,"

"See that girl over there? The one that is with Sarah Cameron? That's Juliana Harrington, the IT girl in Figure 8

Juliana, or Jules, is the person everyone in figure 8 counts on. Especially Delilah. Juliana is Delilah's right-hand bitch, always doing things for Delilah but not getting anything in return. Juliana acts like it's such a hard thing to do and is always acting like she doesn't like being friends with Delilah when like this, but everyone can tell she loves being Delilah's right hand.

Not much is known about Juliana's home life, but I do know that she often is seen with a long sleeve shirt or jacket on. And that alone makes me wonder what is going on in the Harrington house. Is it like the Maybank house? Are they being abused in some way? I could truly care less but in the end, no one deserves to go through that and I can't help but feel guilt pour into me every time I see them in a restaurant. Every time I see the family flinch at the clattering of plates. Everyone but Paige Kelly,"

- 𝗝𝗼𝗵𝗻 𝗕𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗲𝗿 𝗥𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲

"That boy over there, the one with Darius Jenkins, is Theo Cameron, the surfer of figure 8.

To tie together the golden trio, Theo comes in as the youngest and most popular of the group. He's always walking around with his twin sister and older brother, Sarah Cameron & Rafe Cameron. The Camerons are one of the richest families in North Carolina so it makes sense why they act the way they do, but that doesn't change the fact that they treat everyone else like shit. Like they're superior to everyone else. Theo and Sarah Cameron turned to complete assholes the moment they ditched Kiara. What made them ditch her, I'm not sure but one thing I do know is they'll pay for what they did.

I used to like Theo actually, I wanted to be his friend in elementary school. Although, as time went on, I realized he was just like his brother, who had bullied me and ruined my life. Theo Cameron was exactly like Rafe Cameron. And anyone with a brain would know to stay far far away from the Camerons. If not, who knows what would happen to you in the end,"

"That's Catalina martinez, also known as one of the most brutally honest people I've ever met.

I've never liked catalina, not to the extent of hating her but it's honestly close enough. Her attitude and personality doesn't blend with mine so we've never really got along or talked. Catalina also hates the pogues so that made me dislike her even more. She's extremely honest and although honesty is good, she isn't afraid to hurt peoples feelings in the end, resulting in lots of tears. She made kiara cry at one point and I've never forgiven her for hurting one of my best friends. Catalina is one of Delilah's best friends so they are almost always together, that is when Delilah isn't with Jules or Theo.

I've seen Catalina helping others a few times after big storms like Agatha so I know she has a heart underneath all of the walls she's built up but I also know that those walls block out any emotion and she ends up hurting those people more than she is helping them,"

- 𝗝𝗼𝗵𝗻 𝗕𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗲𝗿 𝗥𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲

"That's Aspen Brennen, or Tree as I like to call her. She's the prettiest girl on the island and no one can tell me otherwise.

I met Aspen in kindergarten when she threw a rock or well a pebble at my head after I accidentally ran into her while playing kickball. In my defense, she was the one walking right in front of the baseline as I was running down it. I immediately apologized but I could tell she was mad when she threw a handful of pebbles at my head. Even though she was mad as hell, she was extremely beautiful and I fell in love instantly. I've been in love with her ever since, but I don't think she finds me the same way. After JJ made the "no pogue on pogue macking" I backed away from her, but I was brought back in not even a few days later. I was attached to her and there was nothing that could take me away from her,"

"That's Oakley Adler, one of the nicest kooks on figure 8.

I don't know much about Oakley, seeing as she never really talks to anyone unless it's Delilah or rafe cameron. She's been dating rafe cameron for a little while from what I know, the two being friends since middle school. I don't know how a nice and quiet girl like Oakley met such a violent and psychotic person like rafe but that's her business not mine. Her parents are these huge business people so her family has a lot of money. I wouldn't be surprised if she bought her way through life, she already had pretty privilege.

Again im stuck on how she got stuck with rafe but her taste in men has always been questionable so this honestly makes a lot of sense. Im not one to judge though, I've been obsessed with the same girl since kindergarten,"

"That's Darius Jenkins, one of the craziest partiers and football players of figure 8.

Darius is one of those people that skated through life due to their parents and status. Darius would be nothing without his dad getting him as starting quarterback as he is the head coach of the schools football team. He wouldn't be able to walk around in public if it wasn't for his mom getting him out of legal trouble after getting arrested after a party. All Darius is a dumb jock that can't do anything by himself and needs his parents to do everything for him.

People, mostly kiara, says that I just don't like him because he is talented and successful but I ignore her everyone. Even if Darius Jenkins had a good personality, he was still a kook,"

- 𝗝𝗼𝗵𝗻 𝗕𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗲𝗿 𝗥𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲

"That's Claire freeman, one of my best friends and probably one of the most caring girls I know

I've known Claire since I was little, we basically grew up with each other. She was my first real friend, not using me for anything and just letting me be me. She's one of the nicest people I know, caring and taking care of her community but herself as well. She helps kiara take care of the animals in the area and helps clean up the beaches when she isn't working and helping her family. I don't know what I would do without claire, she was one of the only people that helped me after my dad went missing.

The only downside is claire hates being in public for long periods of time, being shy and not liking talking to people she doesn't know. But I have a feeling that will all change this summer,"

"That's Corbin McConnell, one of the most popular kids in figure 8.

I'll never understand why he hangs out with us. I know he's been friends with kiara since they were little so it makes sense on why he would hang out with her, but hanging out with the rest of us truly made to sense. The boy seemed incredibly nice for a kook but it still made me wonder if he was using us for something. If he was just trying to humiliate us when he left us. Kiara told me he would never do that but I still had the feeling he would. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad he wants to be friends with us but he's also friends with kooks that have treated us like shit so I'm still waiting for the betrayal to come from him.

That aside, Corbin has always treated us nicely and although he puts on this tough exterior and acts intimidating, he really is like a teddy bear and is one of the nicest people I've ever met,"

"That's Damon Alexander, the basketball jock of figure 8.

Much like Darius, Damon is incredibly athletic and skilled in sports. Although instead of football, he plays basketball. Although other than knowing that he's skilled in sports, I don't know much about the boy. I've only ever seen Damon talking to those he's close with so not that many people know who the boy truly is. I've noticed that the boy lacks friends due to lacking trust in lots of people. He normally is seen by himself or with two or three people, normally not more than that. He often looks emotionless, putting up a wall and not letting people see who he truly is.

I would love to get to know damon better but knowing I'm a pogue and he's a kook, things probably wouldn't work out,"
