'When I take my last breath'
'I do not want you to grieve my loss.'
'For if my memory is in your heart...'
'I'll live forever.'

Balloon had been lying in bed. Nickel was asleep in his arms, the blanket pulled up as high as Balloon could manage as to not cover his mouth. He wanted Nickel to be able to breathe after all. He stared up at the ceiling. He didn't have anything to do really.
He tried to shut his eyes, but, the embrace of sleep never came. He sighed and turned on his side, now resting his head on the other boy. He stared down at the sleeping coin. His peaceful face when he was sleeping was so cute to him. He couldn't help but blush.
But his boredom didn't waver.
He picked at his nails and stared silently at wall now instead of the ceiling.
He then felt a pain in his back. He knew it was from his wings in an instant. They ached once again, we're they still growing...?! That shouldn't even be possible... They were going to grow far to big, right?
God it hurt so much, he bit his thumb at an attempt to draw his attention away from the pain on his back, only to have that plan fail miserably. It felt so much worse than before... it's almost as if every single vein, muscle, artery, an basically his entire body had caught ablaze. He could of sworn his blood was boiling... Or his body was eating him from the inside out.
Everything hurt so bad, sure he had surges of pain like this before. But not ones this bad. It felt like he was being shred apart from all angles, his head was pounding.
At the same time he felt... Powerful...
What did these frequent surges of pain even mean—?! He didn't know, and wasn't sure if he even WANTED to know.
He didn't ask for these powers.
Then again, he wouldn't have become close to Nickel if it wasn't for this...
Whole magic thing.
Balloon wasn't sure if the thought comforted, or distressed him. He didn't want to think about it too much.
Balloon curled his aching wings around his body, and hid with the one he loved in their soft embrace. The feathers against his skin, and latex felt welcoming and cozy. He suddenly felt an even more comfy feeling. A hand gliding down the feathers in a comforting way. Balloon glanced at Nickel and saw his softly opened eyes, he must have realized Balloon had been in distress. His hand gently rubbed Balloon's feathers.
Balloon shuddered at the feeling and melted. It made him feel so comforted and loved. And just— Nice in general. He hummed with comfort as Nickel used his magic claw to pet his wings without having to actually move and exert energy.
Balloon's pain seemed to ease momentarily while he was in his moment of relief and bliss. Balloon's wings twitched a but at the pets Nickel was providing for them.
The feeling of boredom that once filled Balloon's mind disappeared.
And he basked in the bliss that Nickel provided by stroking his wings.

Bow, Yin, Yang, and Apple were drawing together. Apple was scribbling random colours onto a paper with crayons, she said she was making an 'Abstract' drawing. Yin had been trying to draw a lovely sunset with the orange and red crayons, Yang, quickly grabbed grey and red and then scribbled over top. Saying he was drawing an explosion.
"KABOOM! AHAHAAH!" Yang boasted loudly.
"Yang please stop it... I wanted to draw!" Yin frowned as he clutched the green crayon he was holding.
"Drawing is for LOSERS! LOSER!!!" Yang giggled evilly before running around the already messy playroom, and tossing around the room like confetti. Goo collected a lot of it in his... Body..?
Bow continued to draw her own thing, a drawing of what she had witnessed before she returned to life.
A lady made of stars.
She remembered her very well, except... Her face... It was hard to recall.
Bow didn't know why.
The power flowing from the other girl when she was close to the star lady... Was almost unreal. It probably would've been overwhelming to any normal person. But.. To her, it felt comforting, and terrifying at the same time.
She had no idea as to why she felt like this...
But she did.
She hoped to meet that lady again one day.
She seemed very nice.
She didn't want her to die...
Bow continued to draw, and got annoyed as flowers kept growing on her colouring tool. It was annoying since, the more flowers that grew on it, the more difficult it was to hold.
She frowned at this inconvenience.
Yin Yang suddenly spoke up. "Hey! Pink girl! I heard you died, how did you come back to life?" Yang shouted in curiosity.
"This purple girl made of stars, like, brought me back!" Bow pointed at the girl she drew on the piece of paper.
"Why doesn't she have a face...?" Yin asked.
"I— I don't really remember it...? It was kind of like a dream." Bow answered and placed the drawing on ground. "I'm not, like, really sure how to explain it..."
"That's a shame..." Goo melted a bit. "A lady made of stars would have been a cool tale to hear in detail...! But I suppose now it's like when you can find the right book in the library!!"
Yang shot Goo a weird look. "What the fuck is he saying...?!" Yang spat.
"YANG! Be nice! And also— LANGUAGE!" Yin frowned in disappointment at the fowl language he heard come from his brother.
"What? I was just saying! It makes NO sense!" Yang shouted and crossed his arms, Yin uncrossed them immediate.
"Well that doesn't mean it's nice to say!" Yin huffed and placed his arms on his hips instead.
Apple was just confused what the hell the word library meant.
Bow sighed and went back to drawing. She always loved drawing. She used to draw with her sister all the time... Until... Her Mom and Dad abandoned her. She was so young back then, she couldn't even remember what her mom and dad looked like. But she still missed them, regardless of whether they abandoned her or not. Surely it must have been a mistake, right? Maybe they never wanted to abandon her... Maybe they were forced to! Or didn't have enough money at the time.
What about her sister? Where was she? Did her sister ever think about her at all? Did her sister ever miss Bow...? She didn't know. She wish she did, but... Life isn't fair.
She for some reason couldn't find it in her to be made at her mom or dad for leaving her. She just wanted to see them again regardless. Which she knew was... Probably not good. But that didn't change what she thought.
Maybe if she just saw them again...
One time....
They'd change her mind and love her again.
Just maybe.
But her family was here too. She had to remember, Marshmallow... Apple... They loved her like her mom and dad should have. Bow looked over at Apple and watched Apple happily scribble on her piece of paper with her crayon.
Bow couldn't help bed crawl over and hug her.
Apple gasped in surprise as she felt Bow's little arms wrap around her. Apple turned to the smaller girl and gave a happy smile, before hugging back.
Bow felt happy...
Home isn't the place.
It's the people you love.

Silver sat on the couch staring at the paused TV screen in boredom. "What IS taking Knife so LONG!" Silver grumbled.
Pickle tapped his foot worriedly. "I don't know... I'm scared he went and did something stupid again..." Pickle hugged as he rubbed the sides of his arms, his head filled with anxiety.
"Oh please, I'm sure he didn't go too far." Silver crossed his arms.
"I-I'm uh... Just going to go check, alright...?" Pickle informed with a nervous smile, looking for approval.
"You don't need my approval...!"
"Oh uh. Sorry..." Pickle moved away and walked towards the kitchen where Knife had fled to after receiving the news of Trophy being his half cousin.
Silver placed his hands on his legs and tapped his fingers one after the other. He was very bored. Very, very bored.
Silver glanced around the room at the orange striped walls, the brown wood floor, the orange carpet. Everything was far too bright and colourful for his taste, he preferred monotone colours.
He suddenly saw something else bright appear in front of him.
A rectangular card glowing and shimmering as it floated in front of him. He gasped as the mythical object sparkled in front of his eyes. Without hesitation he picked up the shiny object.
It formed into an orb of light and shot into his chest. Silver seemed confused. Nothing was happening—? He suddenly felt his eyes burn...! His joints locked and he began to shake violently. His eyes and hands sparked and crackled with energy glowed a bright shiny purple throughout the empty room that was dimly illuminated by the TV screen, since the curtains were shut.
Silver yelled at the pain that coursed through his entire body. It felt like he was being shocked with thousand of bolts of lightning at once.
His joints were still locked and he shakily looked at his surroundings. He could of sworn he saw the faint silhouette of someone...
Suddenly the pain stopped all at once, he gasped and sat up on the couch, and choked through his previous screams.
He looked down at the palms of his hands and watched as the sparked with electricity. The sparks flew off of the stream of power coming from his palms...! It was amazing... Incredible... Mind blowing even..!
He felt so much stronger, energized... Ready for anything... he could just—!
CRACKLE
BOOM!!!
Lightning shot out of his fingertips.
The lightbulb's in the light fixture's exploded in an instant, the rest of the lights flickered in one massive power surge, which went through the entire hotel.
Silver flinched at the damage he had caused so quickly. He was nervous to have to explain what happened...
Unlucky for him, OJ came rushing in.
"WHAT HAPPENED—?!"
