Chapter four
Chapter four
Alex drove down a highway, not really sure where she was going. “Ugh. I’m going to just have to call him.” She pulled into the breakdown lane on the highway and pulled out her phone. “I hope this works still.” Alex dialed ‘666’ and waited, listening to the annoying ringing.
When he didn’t answer, Alex groaned, “Are you really going to make me call you that way?!” She didn’t want to kill someone just to make a call to her father. “Oh whatever.” She climbed out of her car and walked to the trunk, pulling out a gold goblet. She walked to the drivers window and placed the goblet in her purse, so she could easily grab it when she needed it. “This is gonna suck.” She muttered. At least I’ll be killing a douchebag.
Alex walked to the hood of her car and opened it, pretending to look at her car for a problem that wasn’t there. She made sure to bend over enough that her butt was sticking out for everyone to see. “This is ridiculous. No one’s going to-”
“Hey little lady. Need a hand?” Alex closed her eyes and took in a deep breath, preparing herself. I can’t believe someone fell for this so quickly.
“Uhm.” She stood up straight and turned to a man that was standing beside her car, his parked a few feet behind hers. “Yea. I think something broke…” She looked back to her car and sighed, “Like the thingy or something…”
“Well I can give ya a ride into town if ya want.” The man offered with a thick southern accent.
“Really?!” Alex smiled. “Thanks! I just need to grab my purse.” Alex closed her hood and walked to the driver’s side window and grabbed her purse.
The man climbed into his side of the car and Alex got into the passengers side. Before Alex could say anything, he placed a hand on her thigh. Fucking dick. I won’t feel bad about killing you. And you’re lucky Gabriel isn’t here. Alex had to hold in a chuckle at thinking what Gabriel would do to this man.
Alex forced herself to play along, and ignored the man’s hand that slowly stroked her thigh. “I actually have to make a call…” She kept her voice quiet.
“Yeah? Want to use my phone?” The man offered, removing his hand and pulling out a flip phone.
“No. It’s a different kind of call…” Alex pulled out her dagger and turned to the man, pinning him to his seat and cutting his throat. She reached for the goblet with one hand and placed it under the cut, catching his blood.
When she had enough blood, Alex sat back down in the passenger's seat. She held the goblet with both hands, trying to remember the latin that she was supposed to say. “Was it….Tire quiero patem me a di?” Alex tried.
The blood started to bubble and Alex smirked. “I need to speak to Crowley.” Alex spoke to the blood, her eyes turning dark red.
“And who are you?” Said a demon on the other end.
“Alex. His daughter.”
“One moment miss.”
Alex sighed and waited for Crowley to pick up. Hurry up before someone finds me.
“Alex?” Crowley asked on the other line.
“Hey.”
“I thought you were in Hell?”
"I was. But I’ll tell you later. Where are you?” Alex asked.
“Hell. Why?”
Alex sighed again, “I was going to come see you and get Leo.”
“I’ll send a demon to get you. Where are you?”
“Uhm…” Alex looked out the car’s window. “Somewhere in North Carolina.”
Alex heard Crowley sigh, “He’ll be there shortly.”
“Thanks” Alex smiled at how she annoyed her father with her vagueness.
Crowley ended the call and she climbed out of the car, leaving the goblet behind. I’ll just get a new one...I don’t feel like cleaning it. She wiped the blood on her hands onto her jeans and picked up her phone that was now ringing. Looks like Gabe’s worried.
“Hey.” Alex answered her phone.
“Hey. What’s up? Does it really take that long to get a dog?” Gabriel asked.
“I haven’t even gone there yet. I had to deal with some demons.” Alex decided not to tell him about Dan, it would only worry him more. He’s so protective.
“You alright?”
“Yeah, I’m fine. A demon’s on his way to pick me up to see Crowley.” Alex informed.
“Why? Where is he?”
“Hell.” Alex said simply.
“Oh. You sure you want to go there?” Gabriel asked.
“I’m sure. You don’t have to worry about me so much. I can handle myself.” Alex laughed a little.
“I know…” Gabriel sighed.
“Miss Alex.” Alex looked up to see a man in a black suit standing a few feet in front of her.
“One sec.” Alex raised a hand to the demon. “I’ll see you later, ok? I love you.” Alex spoke to Gabriel.
“Ok. Love you too.”
Alex smiled and hung up her phone, putting it back into her pocket. “Alright. Let’s go.”

Alex assumed the demon was of high-ranking, because instead of taking her through a portal to Hell, he easily teleported them there. “I could’ve done that myself.” Alex muttered, following the male demon to Crowley’s ‘throne room’.
“Here you are.” The demon held open a door for her.
“Thanks.” Alex walked past the demon and into a room that was somewhat dark, and rather messy. Crowley sat on a throne-like chair in the center of the back wall, and Leo lied beside him on the floor. “So this is Hell, huh? A lot prettier than where I was.” Alex commented.
Leo heard her voice and came running, pouncing on Alex and knocking her to the floor. “Haha, hey buddy!” Alex laughed, trying not to get Leo’s slobber in her mouth. “Did you grow more?!”
“Yes. He did. He’s almost as big as mine.” Crowley patted another Hellhound that sat respectfully beside him, his head level with Crowley’s.
“Oh jeez.” Alex laughed again, trying to push Leo off. “C’mon Leo, get off.”
Leo licked her face once more, then backed off. He sat down beside Alex, panting happily.
“So,” Alex wiped her face and looked to Crowley. “How’ve you been, King.” She sneered and smirked, standing up.
“I’ve been fine. How did you get out of the cage?” Crowley changed the subject, ignoring her mocking him.
“Actually….A demon got me out.” Alex put her hands into her jean’s pockets. Maybe he’ll know something about him.
“A demon? I never sent any.” Crowley frowned.
“His name is Dan. I forget his full name.” Alex chuckled awkwardly.
“Do you mean Dantalion?” Crowley suggested.
“Yeah! Him.” Alex nodded.
“Stay away from him.” Crowley basically ordered.
“Why? He seemed like a nice guy.”
“He’s a demon!” Crowley exclaimed.
“Matt was nice…” Alex pointed out.
“You shouldn’t be around Dantalion. He’s nothing but trouble. Same with that Archangel. You’re not still with him, are you?” Crowley narrowed his eyes.
“Uhm. Actually, I am…” Alex smiled awkwardly.
Crowley just sighed and rested his head on his hand. “What is it with you and getting the weird ones.”
“Better than getting a Winchester.” Alex smirked, Crowley groaned. “How are they anyway? Have you talked to them?”
“The Winchesters? Yes. Sam’s out of hell too. Lost his soul. Got it back. Castiel ate purgatory. Blah Blah.” Crowley seemed unamused.
“What?!?” Alex exclaimed. “Wings ate purgatory…? What does that even mean?”
“We opened the portal to purgatory and he absorbed all the souls in it. You want to know more, ask them. That’s all I know.” Crowley explained.
“Oh-kay…..Whatever.” Alex shook her head, I don’t even want to know. “Well...I’m gonna go...I guess.”
“Don’t forget Leo.” Crowley reminded. “And stay away from Dantalion, unless you’re looking for a deathwish of course.”
“Yeah, yeah. I got it. I’m just going to look up more about him.” Alex waved him off. “Let’s go, Leo.” Leo stood and ran to catch up to Alex who was already leaving the room.
