Prologue

Everything was spinning it was cold and I couldn't move it was like I was in some type of twister

that was just pulling me up and down I was shouting each time I felt the currents change it finally

then I couldn't take it any more and I went unconscious.

Chapter 1

I wake up to a surrounding of what nature had to offer. I got up and began to explore I then get a

huge headache, everything gets fuzzy but then as if by instinct I start to run as fast as I can I look

back and I don't see anyone but I keep running until I can't run anyone I stop and sit down

underneath a tree to catch my breath. Then I hear someone.

Stranger 1- damn it where did she go she couldn't have run to far she's just a human.

Stranger 2- well we better look harder or lord Frieza and lord Cell we'll kill us if we don't.

My thoughts- what the hell are they talking about Frieza and Cell don't exist they only exist in

the Dragon Ball Z series don't they.

Stranger 3- have any luck finding her?

Stranger 1&2- nope

Stranger 1- what about you?

Stranger 3- not at all. But we have to find her or else lord Friza and lord Cell we'll have our heads

(They shudder in fear)

Someone stands in front of me I scream

Stranger 4- look what I found boys.

Then something clicked I moved to a beat and started to fight and blast I missed all there attacks I

eventually got away and found a city I went in instinctively.

CHAPTER 2

I wonder around the city I see people playing a game with disks and cards. I then see a pair playing, I feel like I've seen this game being played before but I couldn't remember at all.

Someone screams, I turn around and start to run.

I'm was caught.

Stranger 1- look boys I found the girl were looking for lord Frieza & lord Cell we'll be pleased.

Me- I don't think so.

I feel something snap around me and everything starts to glow. The henchmen a were blinded I took that chance to escape, I run to where I find myself in a harbor.

My thoughts- man (breathing hard) if I run into them again I'm toast.

I suddenly hear someone please don't be them I pray to myself.

A familiar voice- hey are you ok?

I see a girl that looks obviously familiar but I obviously don't know her. And for that reason I back away.

Me- hey stay away from me please...

I black out seconds after I said those words

Since I don't know how to make chapters I will make it into one whole page with chapters ok leave comments like I said good or bad are good for me because I can know what to fix so shoot any anime I should add. I'm doing it for anime lovers anyway( and trying to get the story out of my head)

CHAPTER 3

I wake up in a bed with a headache.

Me- ow my head

A girl- I see your awake

Me- (demanding tone) who are you and where am I?

A girl- well see if I take you to a hospital to help you with your injuries.(says in a matter-of-factly voice)

Me- hospital are you crazy if they find me here everyone here will be dead in a matter of I don't know minutes, seconds. We're doomed.

A girl- first of all who is them. Second calm down a minute and tell me everything. By the way my name is Tea.

Me- well Tea it's like this (explains everything)

Tea- that's horrible how can they do such a thing.

Me- I don't know them personally but people or living things live with it because they love doing it.

I reply

Tea- well you'll have to crash somewhere might as well crash at my place I think my mom will accept.

I was shocked I barely knew her but she's offering me a place to live in.

Me-(stutter) I I can't accept your offer it's to much

Tea- don't worry oh by the way you never told me your name.

Me-(dumbstruck) Stef short for Stefany I say

Tea- we'll come on Stef let's go I want to introduce you to my friends.

She begins to pull me with her around the hospital until we find a doctor to make sure I was healthy. Eventually the doctor said I was ok to leave the hospital. Deep inside me I was happy to be out of there.

Tea leads me her house first so she could change.

Tea- hey mom can we help my friend Stef here please!

Tea's mom- sure she can pose as your cousin from America no one would know. And I'll enroll her into your high school too ;she says this with a wink

Tea's mom gives us a few yens to buy me some new clothes. Yay shopping my least favorite thing to do. Why me I ask myself this. But at least I have a family and a home again. But then a thought creeped up and I try to dismiss it.

"But for how long will I be able to find the powers if any inside me to defend my new family will I be able to or will I be seperated again? ==========================================================================

Chapter 4

"Tea please let's go we have enough clothes". I say whining

"Oh ok let's go home and then we can hang out some more." Tea now my cousin says

I see a 3 boys, one of them has brown hair, the second one has blond hair and the last one has a tri colored spiky hair. One of them spots us.

"Hey Tea what up?" Says the blond hair guy

"I could say the same thing about you Joey. Tea replies back

I feel confused but stay silent. Tea looks at me with a concern look.

"Hey are you alright it seems you've seen a ghost". Tea says

"Oh no I'm alright it just... You know just forget it it's nothing important." I say to dismiss her concern.

"Uh by the way Tea who is she?" The brown guy says

"Oh yea I haven't introduced her to you guys". Tea says in an exited expression

"This is Stef my cousin from America she's going to live with us from now on" she says very exitedy.

I try to hide my face from a blush that began to grow around my face.

"Hi" the 3 guys in unison

"Hi" I manage to squeak out

I then feel a big headache and drop the bags and fell back to a wall.

" hey are you alright." Says the tri colored guy

"Yea I'm ok I haven't been having the best moments I just got out of the hospital..." I start to say

" WHAT" the boys say in unison again

"For what are you ok" the boys were asking question after question

"Tea please help" I whisper

"Alright boys leave my cousin alone she's fine just a little injury that's all." Tea finally says

"That's right a minor injury only, nothing more now that that is cleared what are your names. You know mine now tell me yours ok?" I say

The blond hair guy starts first "my name is Joey as you know"

The brown hair guy goes next "Tristan the name"

The tri colored guy goes up next but I see a flicker of a guy that looks like him it was impossible I must be going crazy.

"I guess I'm last hi my name is Yugi" the tri colored said

" nice to meet you guys" I say brushing off the weird feeling and smiled

Then I get a frightening feeling I start to shake and I dropped to the ground on my knees.

"Stef! Are you alright". Tea says worriedly.

"Yea I'm alright just a little shaken that's all" I say hugging myself "can we please go home now" I say timidly

"Yea we can you have a big day of high school tomorrow" she says kindly

"Well bye then Tea, Stef be careful" says Yugi

I see it again the image again the one that looked like Yugi but I just stand and stare quietly. The spirit or whatever notices I'm looking. I quickly look away with a little blush, before anyone can say anything Tea took my hand and almost dragged me because it was almost late and Tea's mom will probably be mad.

Who was that guy that looked like Yugi was it a spirit. So wait I can see spirits now, I secretly accept that I can see spirits which for me is quite surprising.

CHAPTER 5 THIRD POV

Yugi is walking home talking with the spirit of the millennium puzzle Yami.

"Yugi I swear that Tea's cousin was looking at me as she could see me we need to be cousious." Yami says to Yugi.

"Oh come on how can she see you, that's impossible besides not even people with the millennium items can see you then how can Tea's cousin see you." Yugi says

"I know I know but still something is off about her you know" Yami says worriedly

Then they hear a scream of a girl.

"Let me go now I don't know what you want from me" says a girl

"Stef what a pretty name but enough chit chat either you come with me or I blow up this whole city and you know very well I can" says a wired figure

The Stef turns pale white. "Please don't I beg you don't do it I'll go with you just please don't hurt anyone." She says tears coming out of her eyes.

"That fiend what will he do to her if she goes with him" says Yami

Stef suddenly feels an energy that she is positive is Yugi. She stiffens what is he doing here he'll get hurt.

"Now who do we have here" says the villain

"Shoot he knows we're here Yami" says Yugi

"Leave him out of this Cell he has nothing to do with this. This is between you and me no one else" Stef says as brave as she can muster.

"Ahh feisty this will teach you to talk to me that way you brat" says the person Cell

Yami takes over of Yugi's body.

"Who are you and what business do you have with Tea's cousin?" Says Yami

"Run now before he kills you please" Stef says on the verge of tears again.

"You should listen to her she doesn't know me personally but by reputation I suck my victim dry only there clothes are left" Cell says proudly

"That's disgusting" says Yugi in a discusted voice to Yami. He nodds in agreement.

"Hmmm what do we have here 2 souls one body interesting. You knew didn't you that's why you were so worried" Cell says taunting Stef. She looks away trying not to make eye contact with any of them.

"Stop trying to break her down Cell. You big bully has anyone told you it's not nice to bully girls" Yami says "why don't we play a game loser goes to the shadow realm."

Hmm sounds interesting let's do it but one minute" Cell says. He walks to Stef and grabs her by the arm and pushes her towards Yami. Both are surprised and fall on top of each other. Stef gets up her face is red hot.

"Umm I'm sorry that surprised me" Stef says in a timid voice

"Don't worry that surprised me too" Yami says to her with a confused look on his face.

"Here keep her now we can fight in what you call the shadow realm" he said with a smirk on his face.

"Let's go" says Yami

AFTER THE MATCH

Stef sees Yami standing there.

"Hey you're alive". Stef runs to him and hugs him crying. "I don't want anyone to die she says in a whispers and faints.

Collapsed in his chest he is surprised at what she said.

"So what should we do take her to Tea's place?" Yugi says to Yami

"I suppose but I think we should wake her up when we get there." Yami replies still stunned at the action she did. He carries her when they were half way he put her down and started to wake up.

"Papa eres tu a donde Estoy (Papa is that you we're am I?) Stef says in a sleepy tone.

"Um no it's me" Yami says confusingly.

"Uh, I'm sorry for dragging you into my problems, now your in danger." She starts to cry in her laps

"Endanger how you don't make any sense" Yugi says in spirit form

"(Sighs) ok I better tell you everything." Stef says finally

(Tells them everything)

"So let me get this straight you come from another dimension and psychopaths are trying to get you because they think you have a special type of power you have no idea you had or have." Says Yugi

"Heh yeah but I don't expect you guys to believe me I mean all of this can't be real right, maybe I should runaway maybe that way people won't get hurt." Stef says

Chapter 5

Tea comes running towards Stef. Breathing loudly.

"Stef why did you run away again aren't you happy?" Tea says looking worried

"I, I" Stef stutters and looks like she was about to run away again.

"I don't want any one to get hurt so stay away." Stef half yells and a ice wall blocks the way.

All are surprised at the ice wall. Tea and Yugi look at her in astonishment. Stef runs and the wall vanishes instantly.

"Hey you ok Yugi" Tea asks Yugi

"Yeah I'm ok" Yugi responds "that wall appeared out of nowhere and surprised me."

"Yeah me too I think she discovered part of her powers, eh not that she has any!" Says Tea nervously.

"Don't worry I know she told me after she was attacked by a bad guy named Cell." Yugi explains

"Oh that's a relief come on we should go after her before she hurts herself" Tea says. Yugi nodds in agreement.

What did I do. I think to myself it was so bad they must hate me by now. Once I stop at a beach looking at the cold ocean. Maybe if I didn't exist in this world everyone will forget and this nightmare will be over I continue thinking. I walk slowly towards the water.

I suddenly stop. Why should I try to comet suicide I promised myself I wouldn't even if things get tough. I think bravely. No I should go back and apologize to both of them. I nod to myself and start to walk toward the way I came.

"Hey who's there?" I ask loudly. No one replies."ookay that decides it I'm going crazy."

"Oh I don't know I think your pretty sane the only insane thing you did was runaway from my house and make chase you here but otherwise your pretty sane." Someone says

"Tea! Your here". I say happily as I turn around. "I mean how did you guys find me?"

"You could say we tried to follow you. You know your pretty fast for a girl" another voice says

"Joey, Tristan, you guys to?" I say dumbstruck

"Hey you think we'll just leave a new friend to just go her way?" Tristan says

"You guys" I say tears coming out of my eyes. I run to my now cousin Tea. "Thank you" I say before I black out.

Chapter 6

{A week after the run away incident}

"Wake up sleepy head it's your first day of high school" Tea says to Stef pulling the covers off.

"5 minutos mas mama por favor (5 minutes more mom please) Stef says pulling the covers up again saying something in Spanish again which luckily Tea knows exactly what she is saying.

"Nope rise and shine no breaks we have to meet the others, everyone is exited come on get ready now" Tea says as she leaves to eat breakfast.

(Sighs) might as well get up and get ready Stef thinks softly and gets ready. When she's ready she goes down to eat her breakfast.

"I see your awake Stef." Says Tea's mom

"Hmhm" is all Stef can say with toast in her mouth.

"Come on everyone is waiting" Tea says dragging Stef with toast still in her mouth.

"Tea I'm hmm still eahmmting." Stef says with toast in her mouth.

But Tea doesn't hear and drags her cousin to where her friends are at.

"Hey Tea, Stef what's up?" Joey says

"Nohmnthing much" Stef replies still half the toast in her mouth.

"Uhh what?" Tristan says

"What she means is nothing much. Gosh eat your toast Stef." Tea says annoyingly

"(Gulps the toast down) well I'm hungry I didn't eat almost anything only that toast and milk." Stef says sadly

"We'll wake up more early." Says Yugi behind them

Stef & Tea shakes their heads "not a chance she sleeps like a bear, I had to call her 3 times and pull the covers off before she woke up." Tea says plainly.

"Heh heh it's true I love to sleep because of the dreams I get are so fun and full of sweets." Says Stef drooling at the thought of her dreams.

All of them laugh.

"Well if I had to survive in a dimension and never get cavities again I'm going to Stef's dream" Joey says

"Is everything you think of is food?" Says Tristan

"Yea I mean that is all you can think of when your only spending time with boring girls." Joey says

Stef summons a frying pan and hits Joey on the head. "And what's that supposed to mean" Stef says very annoyed at Joey.

Everyone looks at Stef questionably.

"Since when can you summon frying pans" Tea finally just says

"Um I guess ever since now." Stef replies wonderliy

"Oh ok." Tea says

"Hey that's all were going to say she hit me on the head with the frying pan!" Joey shouts

"Well you kind of had it coming." Tristan says

"Ehh we're going to be late if we don't hurry up!" Stef says looking at her watch.

"SAY WHAT" everyone says in unison

"What are we waiting for let's go " says Joey. Everyone starts running and make it by 5 minutes.

"Okay bye guys I'm going to the office to get my schedule" Stef said

"Alright meet us in room 9-1 after school ok." Tea replies. Stef nods as she walks away. "knowing her she'll forget I'll find out what class she goes to bye guys." Tea finishes

"Bye" the boys say in unison

So Stef went to the office and asked for her schedule. The office gave her the schedule and she was on her way to her first class.

Let's see room 9-1, room 9-1 I wonder where that is. Stef accidentally bumps into someone.

"Ow hey are you ok?" Stef asks the stranger

"I'm alright but I should be asking you that question" the purple hair stranger says

"(laughs a little) don't worry about it it's alright" Stef says politely. "Oh hey do you know where room 9-1 is?"

"Uh that's my class here follow me, by the way my name is Trunks" the boy name Trunks says.

"Ok but I don't wanna be late can we go now please." Stef says as patiently as she could.

"Sure it's this way" Trunks says leading Stef to room 9-1.

"Ah hello Mr. Brief, I see you found our new student." The teacher said. "Come in, Mr. Brief you sit down. And you Ms. Florian come up and present yourself to the class."

Both of them nod. And do what they are told.

"Class this is our new student Stefany Florian please welcome her as you would do any student." The teacher said

"Yes Ms. Rona" the class said

"Let's see I see you can sit with Mr. Wheeler & Mr. Taylor, at the back." Ms. Rona said

Stef nods happily and sits in the middle of Tristan and Joey. After all their classes are over and school is over Stef, Joey, and Tristan start to talk.

"Now tell us what do you think of Trunks Brief Stef?" Joey asked suspiciously to Stef while she was eating.

"Hmm (gulps down her lunch) what do you mean? Oh do you mean if I have a crush on him, then sorry to disappoint you Joey." Stef says annoyed

"Aw come on not even a little?" Tristan follows

"Nope not even a little I like someone else." Stef says finally

"And who might that be?" Tea says behind them

"That's a secret." Stef says with a wink and a finger on her smile. "Besides I have more important things than to worry about boys my policy is not to date until I'm either 16 or 17 if I fall in love before that then so be it."

"Whoa that deeps Stef so you mean you never had a crush on a boy?" Yugi says surprised

"Well that's an exaggeration I have had crushes but I never told anyone not even my mom, the subject came up once in a while but nothing serious." Stef says like she was in a trance.

Girls start to aw and squeal.

"Ow my ears hurt." Stef says

"Looks like theirs another new kid let's greet him" Yugi says

"Oh come on why should we he's already hogging the girls." Joey says

Stef looks at her surrounding and sees that no one is looking. She summons a frying pan and hits Joey on the head and the frying pan vanishes.

"Hey who hit me on the head" Joey says holding his head.

"Gomen gomen I kind of followed my impulse and hit you on the head again." Stef says half laughing half apologeticly as possible.

"This is no laughing matter you could have hit my pretty face." Joey says

Everyone left him to see the new kid. Everyone is surprised at how good the boy was at switching dice pieces under the cup that is except Stef and for that cause she leaves to the forest.

Hm this is calming thought Stef walking around the forest. I love this type of nature suddenly when she twists so does a puddle of water.

"Whoa" Stef says and drops to the ground. "That's weird". She does it again and after that she discovers all her powers even flying.

"Whohoo this is awesome." Stef says as she flies back to the school to show her friends.

Chapter 7

Stef lands over some distance and goes to find her friends. "I can't wait to tell them." Stef says excitedly

"Tell what to who if I may ask?" Trunks asks from behind

"To my friends and my cousin that's who but for the what... That is a secret." Stef explains. "By the way you shouldn't be eavesdropping on people any ways."

"Whoa I just want to start a conversation that's all." Trunks says apologeticly as possible. "By the way here's were I live if you want to find something techno like a computer or a phone."

"Um thanks?" Stef says confusingly but accepting the card Trunks gave her. And after that Trunks walks away.

Well that was weird thought Stef.

"So someone getting someone's attention." Joey says teasingly.

"Hmm oh high guys. Guess what I have exiting news to tell, let's go in the forest ok though so no one can see." Stef says excitedly.

"Can it wait till later I have to beat the new guy at duel monsters" Joey says impatiently

Stef sees the importance of the duel and says "oh ok it can wait" trying not to show disappointment .

"Are you sure? you can tell us now if you want." Tea says

"Hmm hnn, it's ok it can wait." Stef says with an ok tone, but her eyes told everything but before anyone can notice the new guy appears.

"Ready for the duel Wheeler and can we duel with new decks I don't really have one." The new guy says.

Stef smells a trap but she holds her tongue and try not to make a seen. The new guys notices Stef and decides to play a joke.

"Well Wheeler why don't we raise the stakes" the new guy says. Stef knows what comes next and walks to the new guy and slaps him.

"I don't know who you are but don't treat people like property because there not you jerk." Stef says angrily and walks back to her friends. Everyone looks at her surprisingly at what she did.

"What I gave him what he deserved a good smack." Stef says at them. All of them begin to laugh at the comment.

"Well I know who not to tick off next time I try to tease someone!" Says Tristan still laughing.

"Well if your done laughing then follow me to the arena." The new guy says. Everyone stops and follows the new guy. They get there and Joey plays with a new deck and plays the new guy Duke.

AFTER THE MATCH (look up the match at YouTube or something)

Joey lost he has to act like a dog for a week.

"Why you. How about you fight me one on one Duke Devlin." Stef says angrily her eyes were red with rage, that Tristan, Tea, and Yugi had to hold her back.

"Stef stop it a deals a deal." Joey says putting the dog costume on.

"Yeah a deals a deal plus I don't fight with little girls." Duke said

"Don't worry about me I'll be fine." Joey says. A dice hits him.

"Don't speak your a dog remember? So act like one." Duke said.

"I swear I'll use my powers and make you regret this." Stef said growling.

"What powers? You have none." Duke said testingly

"Ehh what she is trying to say that that ok I got nothing." Tea says. Yugi and Yami could tell that Stef's powers were taking control of her. They switched places.

"Stef calm down it won't help if your powers get the control of you." Yami says. And some how Stef's powers stopped taking over and suddenly her brown eyes were back but Stef used so much energy she blacked out.

"Now Duke Devlin I challenge you to a game of your choice." Yami says determined to set his friend free.

"Ok let's play dungeon dice monsters" Duke says.

AFTER THE MATCH (look up the match on YouTube)

Stef wakes up and places her hands on her head.

"Ow I feel like I ran a 100 miles." Stef says rubbing her head.

"Well I'm not surprised." Yami says behind her. "You were almost devoured by your powers."

"Oh" was all Stef said, but inside her and her eyes showed it. Disappointment in her self for not being able to control her powers.

"Hey don't beat yourself up it wasn't your fault. Besides look on the bright side." Yami starts.

"Oh I didn't know their was one." Stef said in a sad tone. She was thinking about an idea, Yami guessed what it was.

"Don't run away again people still need you, you know." Yami says

"Like who. Look Yami I'm not even supposed to exist! You have no idea of never being able to see your own family, and don't say it you may have a similar pain but you have no idea...what...I've been through. WATCH OUT. Stef says pushing Yami out of the way of a knife trying to hit him, it didn't but it left a big scratch on her.

"Hey you alright Yami?" Stef says in a pained voice.

"I should be asking you your hurt." Yami says surprised. "Wait a moment I'll get help."

"Don't I don't want anyone to worry. Just open me a bottle of water." Stef says. Yami is surprised but does as he was said. The water moved at Stef's hand motions. Yami and Yugi were caught by surprise but stood as still as they could.

"One of my powers is controlling the elements. And one of the elements water has healing properties." Stef explains "but it takes most of my energy so be prepared to explain...this...to our...friends." We're her final words before she blacked out again.

"We heard a window break" Joey says worriedly. Everyone looks at the window and then at the knife. "Yugi what's going on? And what happened here?"

(Yami explains what happens)

"She said WHAT" Tea was very annoyed. "I swear that girl never learns that were here to support her."

"In her defense we have no idea what she's going through, the pains she has to face the hardness of it. But puts on fake happy emotion to keep us happy." Yugi says in his spirit which no one but Yami can hear.

"No no stop don't do it" Stef mumbles suddenly panicking and crying. "Don't go you'll never return"

"Stef wake up its a just a nightmare nothing more" Tea says

"No you can't you just can't you'll die" was all Stef said still sobbing. Everyone tries to shake her awake but it doesn't work.

"You guys stay here. I'm going to try something." Yami said.

"What are you going to do?" Tea says worriedly

"Go inside her dream and convince her to wake up" was all he said. The puzzle starts to shine and Yugi takes over and says "he's in"
