May's POV (Elena)

A week had passed, and Chase had done nothing but irritate me. In the hospital, I definitely did not enjoy a restful week. Yummie, on the other hand, is all in for Chase. Tsk.

"Come on, pumayag ka nalang kasi. I don't want you to get tired," pangungulit ni Chase while he followed me like some pitiful dog.

I attempted to push him away. I'd rather take a taxi than be stuck in his car with him. I'm pretty sure he'd just annoy the hell out of me with his stupid, out-of-date pick-up lines.

"Ayaw mo pala ha," Chase chuckled and took me by surprise when he suddenly carried me like a newlywed.

My eyes widened and tried to escape but he is too strong and a victorious smile was plastered on his face when I gave him a glare.

"Urgh! Let go, you stupid Chase!" I shouted still struggling to escape

"Try to move again and I'll kiss you. Not in the cheeks or forehead" he said before evilly smiled

Urgh, I know he is damn serious. Tss, lagot ka talaga sa akin Rodriguez the moment I escape. I'll kill you, you stupid jerk!

"Why don't you just take a picture of me instead of staring at my face? Oh, well, this is better" he smiled triumphantly

I glared at him but he didn't even flinch so I just rolled my eyes. Yummie was behind us, squealing like a fangirl. I gave a deathly glare but she just smiled at me teasingly. These two know no fear.

"Sige, Chase. Ikaw na bahala sa best friend ko, kailangan ko ng pumasok eh," Yummie happily announced

Urgh, this is the nth time she left me with this stupid annoying jerk! And I am so not buying her excuses.

"Here we go," Chase suddenly uttered, "mukhang nag-eenjoy ka sa pagtitig sa akin ha."

I felt my cheeks warmed. That was embarrassing. Agad kong iniwas ang aking tingin. Tsk, I wasn't practically staring. I was just spacing out. Tsk. He buckled my seatbelt and stop to stare at me. Is he challenging me for a staring contest? Challenge accepted then. I won't lose.

"Sana si Barney ka nalang," bigla niyang sambit.

Nagsalubong ang kilay ko. The nerve of this guy?! And how does he know Barney? That violet dinosaur is like for kids! He really is so stupid.

"Are you comparing me to an ugly violet dinosaur?" I angrily said with my gritted teeth.

He gave me a charming smile which is honestly not charming. He just looks stupider.

"Para... I love you, you love me," he snickered while covering his face

Urgh, he is just so. He really loves to annoy me, doesn't he? Can't he just disappear?! After a minute tinanggal niya ang kamay niya sa mukha niya and stared at me again. When are we going to go? He gulped as his eyes traveled to my lips. His face came closer. My eyes widened, what the eff is he trying to do?!

"W-what are you trying to do?!" I stuttered, trying to sound mad.

Why am I feeling awkward with his face so near to mine? Our lips were inches away when I suddenly pushed him hard and deter my eyes at another direction.

"Your face was hilarious!" he suddenly burst out laughing.

My blood boiled so I decided, why is he making me look stupid? I am not stupid! Padabog na lumabas sa kotse niya at malakas na ibinagsak ang pinto.

"Stupid jerk!" I angrily shouted before calling for a cab.

Agad din naman niya kaong sinundan pero hinarap ko siya at malakas na sinipa to the place where it hurts the most. I heard him calling my name still whining in pain. Serves you right! Tss. I reached home still pissed off as hell when a figure caught my attention standing by my door.

I muttered, "Elena?"

Lumingon siya sa akin. Puffy red eyes. She run towards me and gave me a tight hug. Whoa. Since when did we become close. What is she doing here?

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry," she repeatedly apologizes.

What's with her? Kumalas siya sa yakap and looked at me, her eyes were welling up with tears. Even with her haggard visage, she still looks stunning.

"Promise, ibabalik ko sa dati ang lahat. Patawarin mo ako. I'm sorry," she cried before giving me a tight hug and walked away.

Wait. What just happened? I was left dumbfounded staring at the space when I suddenly heard Chase calling me kaya nagmadali akong pumasok sa apartment ko.

"Open the door May," pakiusap niya but I just walked away from the door and changed into my pajamas.

I've been away for a week. I bet I have many things to do instead of being annoyed by Chase's presence kailangan kong ituon ang atensyon ko sa trabaho ko. After an hour ay natapos na din ako, I bet wala na doon si Chase. I can go ahead and buy some milk in the convenience store. I took my keys and wallet and went outside. Paglabas ko ay nanlaki ang mata ko.

"What the hell are you STILL doing here?!" I histerically asked emphasizing the word still.

He just smiled at me and a sly smile was seen on his face.

"I knew it. Plano mo talaga pumasok," nakabusangot niyang wika

I rolled my eyes at umirap sa kanya. So what if I work? This is my life. I was about to walk away when he suddenly grabbed my hands and pulled me to his car.

"What the hell Chase?!" I shouted at him

He just shrugged and fastened his seatbelt saka nagpaharurot ng sasakyan. I noticed that this isn't the way to the company.

"What are you scheming you jerk?!" I angrily said through my gritted teeth

He just smiled at me and faced the road. Urgh, annoying. I tried to grab the steering wheel but he quickly grabbed my hand at pinosasan ako. What the hell?!

"My grandpa was once a police officer," he informed not looking at me. Well, I already know that but what he's doing is against the law! He is practically kidnapping me now! "You better behave yourself."

He parked the car at nilagay ang kapares ng posas sa hawakan ng kotse.

"There you go. Now, you can't escape," he smiled triumphantly

I shot him a deathly glare but he just smiled at me. What's wrong with this guy?!

"What are you plotting you stupid jerk?!" I shouted still trying to compose myself.

He is the only person that effortlessly shows this side of me. I am always composed and calm pero iba pag siya ang kaharap ko. Urgh, stupid annoying jerk. Maybe because he reminded me so much of myself but he chose to try to run away from it. We are both... cowards

"We are going on a date," he declared.

Wait, what?!
