Nightmare had been watching Cross grow from his little area. Cross was so smol but he was 17 now and he seemed happy, though he isolated

Nightmare was the only one Cross wouldn't try to hurt, so Nightmare was thinking
Though it got dark outside

He had to do something and that was to check on Cross. Cross was just changing. He then yawned and went to sleep. Nightmare would soon join the sleeping smol, but he got an idea. He grins, seeing as though Cross was naked, since it was the bginning of summer. Well, mostly

Nightmare had gotten some stuff ready, carrying a fluffy blanket. He then sat on the bed"Crossy?" Cross looked up at him, rubbing his eye"Hm?" Cross then blushed. He covered himself. Nightmare chuckles"Calm down, I just wanted to see if you wanted to cuddle. It's supposed to rain tonight" Cross nuzzles Nightmare"Don't look at anything"He huffed. Nightmare chuckles and holds him close

"Alright, Crossy~"

Cross whines and just cuddles him. Nightmare cuddles back, tentacles wrapping around Cross. Nightmare keeps him close"Mine" Cross blushed, struggling. He then gave up. He sighs and holds onto Nightmare's ribs as he cuddles him. He yawns and sleeps. Nightmare pets him as he slowly drifted off

"Love you"

He whispered before being finally asleep
