They were everywhere

Monsters. Big, scary monsters

It felt like the walls were caving in.

I ran to the nearest ally and tried to catch my breath.

Breath in
...
Breath out

I slowly felt myself calming down.

It didn't last for long, though, as I'm surrounded by a thick yellow mist.

"Who's there?!" I try to clench my fists. Anything, to feel in control.

But I'm paralyzed

frozen

'why is this happening to me?'

A deep chuckle

and then...

darkness

Okay so for those that don't know I have decided to re write Crossfire. I looked back on it and realized just how bad it really was.. and since I'm getting back into writing again, I'd like to try again. Again, I'm sorry for the short chapter, the next will be longer for sure.
