"Soobin-ah, are you in there?" the elder shouted through the closed gate.
He sighed as he still got no answer and carefully opened the gate and took a look inside. A groan could be heard and his gaze fall onto Soobin, who was lying in pain on the cold cement floor. Yeonjun rushed over to him and knelt before him. He gently pulled at the younger one and made him look up at him.
"H-hyung it hurts!" he exclaimed when he saw the elder.
"Damn it, what have you done? Have you eaten anything toxic?" Yeonjun asked, who knew that the younger wasn't that careful with what he ingested.
"I-I don't know!" the younger replied and curled up when another wave of pain hit him.
He thought carefully about what Soobin had been consuming recently, but he couldn't think of anything different than usual. And yet. Then the thought struck him of the conversation the day before with his little brother, 'Hyung, did Soobin hyung drink his coffee?'
"That little beast..." he mumbled to himself, grabbing the younger one.
"Wha-what?" Soobin asked confused.
The elder shook his head, "Come, we must get you inside," he said, gently taking one arm under both of the younger's arms.
He pulled him up and almost lifted the suffering younger all the way inside. He made sure he got his dirty clothes changed, which he felt was a little strange in relation to what happened the day before. But he didn't mention anything as he did not know how much the younger one could remember. He helped him with putting on some comfortable clothes and lay him under a duvet in his bed.
"I'll get you some water," Yeonjun said, slipping out of the room.
But that was not the only thing he intended to do. He carefully closed the door behind him and walked with certain steps in the direction of his little brother's room.
He knocked hard on the door, "Beomgyu, open!"
The youngest got a surprise on the other side of the door and was about to drop his mobile, which he was sitting with.
"Coming," he shouted, getting up from his bed and walking over to unlock the door.
To his no surprise, he saw his big brother standing there, but to his great surprise, he saw that he was furious. The younger sank and smiled faintly at him.
"He-hey hyung," he said with a nervous smile.
The elder took a step towards his little brother, "Beomgyu what did you put in his coffee?!"
The younger stepped backward and shrank in height, "I-I-"
"Leave it, I know you did something. Tell me what!" the elder said harshly, pushing him back against the wall.
"O-okay maybe I poured an enchantment in!" Beomgyu exclaimed hurriedly.
Yeonjun looked angrily at the younger one. A light shone from the bed and his gaze immediately landed on his brother's mobile. A picture of him and another stranger boy showed on the screen. The elder stepped suspiciously towards the mobile and quickly grabbed it. The younger one widened his eyes when he discovered what his brother was up to.
"Beomgyu who is this?" the elder asked as he glanced with wrinkled eyebrows at the strange boy in the picture.
"Hyung!"
"Answer me, who is he? Is that him you meet when you're gone?"
The younger one reached for the phone, but the older one lifted his arm away.
"It's..no one!"
"Beomgyu I don't like that you are hanging around with people I don't know. Is that understood?" Yeonjun said harshly with a firm tone.
The younger one looked down at the floor, "Okay ..." he mumbled.
The elder took a good look at the stranger boy again, but curiosity struck him. Unseen by the younger, he swiped to the side across the screen, and a startle hit him. In the picture, they were both still sitting in the same place, but the stranger kissed his brother on the cheek. Yeonjun didn't say a word and immediately went away from the picture again.
"Which elixir did you give Soobin?" he asked instead while he put the cell phone quietly into his pocket.
Beomgyu looked up at his brother, "I don't know..."
The elder clenched his jaws, "You are grounded and not allowed to leave your room for three weeks!"
"Wha-what!?" exclaimed the younger, "You can't do that!?"
Yeonjun smirked at him, "Oh, yes I can..."
He quickly grabbed the key, which was sitting in the keyhole, stormed out of the room, and closed and locked the door.
"Yeonjun hyung!" he heard shouting from the other side, and a knock hit the door.
The elder smirked to himself while he fished the stolen phone up from his pocket, "I guess I got something here to take a better look on."
_____
The group of six walked quietly down the street. The full moon was still almost whole and they could feel the force hitting them. Their various colored eyes lit up in front of them, like stars in the night. They didn't walk and talked loudly with each other, only small mumbles and playful pushes against each other.
The green glowing went a good distance further than the others. His black clothes and hair made only his face and shining eyes visible. He was thinking of what had happened earlier.
"Tell me just one good reason why we helped those two stupid hunters? Is it only the wolf's fault?!", said the orange glow with a snort.
"Seoho!" exclaimed the blue-eyed, glaring with a stern look at the younger one.
"What? Isn't it true, he's already falling for that hunter," said the younger one with a smirk.
"The wolf has apparently found his-", but the orange-eyed didn't manage to finish his sentence before a strong hand grabbed him by the neck and slung him backward.
It all went so fast that he did not have time to grasp what was happening before hitting with the back of his head into a house wall.
"Hyung!" one of the youngest yelled, running over to them but he was stopped by the blue glowing.
The red glowing younger looked confused up at the older one.
"Let them solve it themselves," the oldest replied quietly.
The green glowing shoved the orange-eyed into the wall again, and the older one made a squeaky sound. The younger wolf growled at him with eyes that shone almost twice as much as usual. He looked fearfully into the eyes of the elder with a facial expression drawn up in full remorse. He had bared all his teeth and held with a hard grip on the orange luminous's neck. The elder sank and looked back nervously. He knew very well that this was not a good sign.
"Are you trying to provoke me?" the green shining said with a deeper voice than usual.
"What do you think o-", the younger one squeezed harder around his neck as he growled.
"No-no!" Seoho gasped.
The younger one leaned even closer to the older one's head with bared teeth, so that one could see his pointed fangs and a significantly higher growl came from his throat.
The elder fearfully turned his head away from him and closed his eyes. But the younger one had no intention of doing anything. Seoho suddenly felt the grip around his neck loosen and opened his eyes and saw to his great surprise that the younger one was gone. He scouted around for him in the area, but found only the other four standing and looking in the direction of the forest. He swallowed as all eyes landed on him.
Some of them glared at him angrily, others stood looking terrified. And none of them could judge them for that. The green luminous never used to behave like that, there was a reason he was called 'the lonely wolf'. He always went for himself and despised having company. He was only with the others when needed, otherwise never. That is why it was so unusual for him to behave like that.
"Well done Seoho, now you must have made him well and thoroughly furious at whatever it is now," Hwanwoong said, thrusting one shoulder into the other.
