30| His name
The bright green eyes scouted around in the dark. The boy's figure was coated in the bright light of the moon, but his facial expression was hard to decipher. That was always the case, but right now it was completely impossible. Several different emotions swam around in it and it made him look bitten. His raven-black hair swirled around in the cold wind. It had grown quite a bit since he had last stood on the ground he was standing right now. Now the tips almost reached down into the eyes of the green glowing boy. But that was not at all what he was aware of at that moment. About fifty meters from where he stood, a candle was burning. The light was dim and not very strong. And the wolf had such an urge to step closer. His deep instinct told him he had to do it so that his pain would go away. It was as if he was magically drawn closer by invisible threads. The green glowing did not even detect that his legs had begun to move on their own. Only the light came closer to him, and suddenly he was standing in front of the glass door. His one hand rested on the cold pane as he silently peered inside. The light came from a single candle placed on the small bedside table that stood next to the large bed.
As quietly as possible, the boy opened the glass door and stepped inside. A strong sweet scent hit him as he took a breath. And then the pain wave hit him. It made the wolf bend its legs and close the glass door tightly. It clanked throughout the room, and a sudden nervousness crept up around the green glow. At least this was not the plan. The pile of duvets and blankets lying in the middle of the large bed began to move and a figure with a face unfolded in pure pain appeared. The figure's gray locks lay spread on top of his face, where a tear rolled. The hunter looked up, and when he caught sight of the two glowing green eyes, he froze.
"A-Alo?" Yeonjun said completely without moving.
The black-haired boy looked down a little, he could hardly bear to see the other boy in pain.
"It's not my name .."
A tear rolled down the other cheek, "Wha-what?" the hunter asked confused.
"Geonhak .. Geonhak is my name," the wolf said, looking up at the silver-haired boy again.
Yeonjun had almost already figured out that 'Alo' was not Geonhak's real name. But still, it kind of shocked him a little bit. Why had Geonhak chosen to use a cover name? Yeonjun curled up more and even more, tears ran down his face. Why did it hurt so much?
The green glowing slowly took a few steps toward the boy, who bent down in pain. What am I doing?!! he thought panicked about his uncontrolled action. Geonhak sat on the edge of the bed and looked down at the crying boy.
"Geonhak why does it hurt so .. much!?" Yeonjun squeezed out and looked over at the other boy.
His green eyes shone brighter than before, and his almost full moons could have dazzled the hunter. Yeonjun kept his eyes on Geonhak with his glistening eyes. It went so fast that he didn't have time to react to the wolf's movement before a pair of strong arms were wrapped around him. Yeonjun held his breath as his eyes doubled in size. A sparkling intense heat suddenly spread around his entire body and he felt how the pain stopped abruptly. As if Geonhak's embrace had stopped the pain. Was that really all that was needed? The pain burned away, and as Geonhak gently ran a hand through the silver locks, a shiver ran through Yeonjun's entire body, closing his eyes as he laid his head all the way to the other boy.
Geonhak was in shock, this was not him. It must have been his wolf who had taken control. But he was not angry at it, far from it. This was really nice, holding the boy and letting heat spread around his body. The heat slowly made the silver-haired boy feel his tiredness after his many sleepless nights. And faster than expected, he fell asleep in the wolf's arms.
Geonhak looked down at the sleeping boy, and a smile pulled at the corners of his lips.
