11| Not a dream

A warm furry lump lay next to the boy who was sleeping. The first rays of sunshine shone in through the window and danced lightly over his beautiful face and silver-gray hair, which reflected back like a crown on his head. He had slept incredibly well, no he had actually never slept better.

The boy slowly opened his eyes and met the bright sun. He lay thinking about how he had ended up in his bed because he couldn't remember that he had put himself in it.

A warm feeling quickly spread around his body, and it calmed him. He briefly closed his eyes again and snuggled into the warm, soft lump of fur that lay on one side of him. He had not yet discovered that it was a wolf lying next to him.

The wolf had been awake for a good while now. It had just been lying and looking at the boy who was sleeping so sweetly. Now it felt how the boy moved closer to it and held on to it. Its body emitted a powerful heat with unknown emotions that it did not even know. But it liked them and enjoyed having them floating in its body.

The wolf's green glowing eyes looked intently at every little detail of the boy. It would remember as much as possible. The boy's purple marks that his cousin had given him were still to be seen and the wolf did not like them. It didn't like that others had marked him.

Its nostrils moved like a fast locomotive, sniffing the sweet scent of wild berries. It tickled all the way down into the stomach, and set motion to the bloodstream.

The wolf moved its head against the boy's face and gently licked one cheek. A sweet little kiss. It gave a startle in the boy, and he wrinkled his face with a smile.

"Soobin-ah don't," he said while pushing to the lump of fur.

But when his fingers hit the soft fur, he realized that it did not quite agree with that being Soobin. He immediately opened his eyes in confusion, and in shock saw the wolf lying and looking him directly in the eyes with its green shining orbs. Yeonjun jumped backward in the bed which resulted in him crashing over the edge and hitting the floor hard. He distorted his face when the pain hit him.

The wolf was fast and even jumped down from the bed towards the boy, who was in pain. Yeonjun closed his eyes when he saw the big black wolf approaching him. His body was frozen to the spot and he could do nothing but look it deep into its green eyes. They were incredibly beautiful, but the question was just, where had he seen them before? No, you cannot think like that about a wolf!

The wolf got closer and closer and only stopped when its snout hit the boy's nose. They looked each other deep in the eyes and it was just before sparks struck around them.

The boy blinked, and as he opened them again, the wolf was gone. He glanced desperately around the room for it, but no sign was there to be seen. This must be a dream?

He got up, deeply confused, and felt how his tailbone ached from the collision. The wind whistled past him and he turned around. He caught sight of the patio door, which stood open, and he took quick steps toward it, looking out with a frown. His gaze immediately was on the forest, and there he saw two green glowing eyes peeking out from the bushes.

"It was not a dream..." he whispered to himself.

"Jungkook? Hello? Are you listening at all?!" the older man said with a raised voice while snapping his fingers in front of the younger one.

But the younger still didn't respond.

"JEON JUNGKOOK!!" the elder shouted now, and it finally made the boy react.

"What?" the younger answered slightly confused.

"Geez boy, do you mind just being a little present? If we're going to find that wolf, then you fucking have to be a little awake too, right?!" Hoseok scolded as Jungkook looked down at the ground.

"Yes hyung," Jungkook quietly replied, looking down at the ground.

Hoseok ruffled the younger's hair lightly as he couldn't help but feel pity for him. He wished he himself had had an older brother, he had always wanted that, but unfortunately, that was not the reality. But now since he met Jungkook, he had promised himself to be the big brother he never had himself.

The younger one looked up at him with his famous bunny smile. It was so sweet that the elder could not help but tangle his hair again.

"Hey!" the younger one complained and pushed the older one away.

"Sorry, I'll stop now," Hoseok replied with a laugh.

They walked further down the street where almost no people were. Some quick steps could be heard further ahead and not long after, someone bumped hard into the younger one.Jungkook looked up startled and spotted a bloody figure who ran with her head covered with her hands. It all went so fast that he barely managed to see who it was, but then her eyes hit him.

"A-alicia?" Jungkook said confused, but she did not hear him and was already gone.

"What the heck?" Hoseok said bewildered.

The younger one was still looking for her, "Jungkook did you see who it was?", the older one asked him.

Jungkook considered it briefly, but then shook his head, "No idea."

It was probably not a good idea to tell his hyung who it had been.
