Chapter 7

I drove home and saw her.

She was smoking out of a pipe with three boys.

I slowed down my car and rolled down the window.

I called out her name.

She looked up at me.

She was stoned.

I told her to get in the car.

She didn’t listen.

I told her to get in the car again.

She didn’t listen..

I got out of the car and took away her pipe.

She smelled of marijuana.

I picked her up.

She laughed.
