As I walked out of the school building, I went up to my ride: a light blue mini-limo. I got into the front seat, placed my backpack on the floor, and heard the same question that I hear everyday: "So Olivia, how was school?"

  Yep, that's my name: Olivia Rodriguez. Here's my picture:

  Also, in case you're curious, the person who asked me that question wasn't my mom or my dad. It was actually our family's (clears throat) assistant, Toby Farrell. Here's what he looks like: 

  Anywho, I said right back, "It was fine as usual, Toby."

  I really like spending time with him. You see, my parents are really busy at work, so they frequently leave me with Toby. As a result, he and I have a very close relationship with one another. He's actually kind of a father figure to me.

  That aside, once Toby and I arrived home, I went into the kitchen, placed my backpack down, and got started on some homework. Toby asked me, "Olivia, would you like to make any suggestions for dinner tonight?"

  "Macaroni and cheese sounds good," I answered. (sighs) It may not be a fancy Friday dinner, but its humbleness and simplicity are just a few of its many charms. 

  Anywho, I managed to finish my Home-Ec homework and was about to move on to Science, but then suddenly, my bracelets started to light up! I got up and asked, "Toby, I need to go handle business."

  "Okay," he responded. Toby's a very understanding guy. That's one of the things I like about him.

  Anywho, I rushed into the attic, but not before grabbing a leftover lemon poppyseed muffin from breakfast (freshly baked). Once I got there, I checked the Crime Monitor and found out what was going on: Crystal Crow holding up the Gemstone exhibit of the Geology Museum! 

  With this knowledge, I quickly ate up my muffin (which, by the way, was absolutely delicious), and then it started: my eyes turned purple, my usual outfit was replaced by a dark yet stylish costume, and in that moment, I became Shadowl!

  With that, I flew out to the museum, and when I got there, Crystal Crow was in the process of stealing the Peridot of Power. I got out my bow and shot out a warning feather arrow. This easily caught his attention as he quickly turned around, saw me, and cawed out, "Shadowl."

  "Crystal Crow," I said to him, "unless you put down the jewels, there's plenty more where that came from."

  "Make me," Crystal Crow responded. He flared out his black, gem-encrusted wings, flew up, and started shooting out dagger-like malachite fragments.

  I quickly used my wings to blow them away. However, a few still managed to hit me in the face. Man, those things really hurt! However, I still wasn't going down. As he continued firing the jewel shard projectiles, I started firing my feather arrows at them, causing them to break. This was working well for a time, but then I got pinned down from behind by Crystal Crow's evil minion, Jewel Jay!

  It seemed like it was all over, and Crystal Crow was going to get away, but then the police came in and arrested them. (smirks) Stalling the villain until the police show up. Works every time.
